Facing the Exam with Limited Strength

Me and Stevani went to register and take care of the necessary conditions, After enrolling, I was directed to take the exam. There are two types of exams that I have to go through, namely written exams and practice exams. With the knowledge given by Sir Hobit, I believe I can pass this test.

While I was waiting with Stevani and a few other students, suddenly a beautiful student came into the room. Everyone's eyes were immediately drawn to him. "Is she the princess?" said one of the people around me curiously. Out of curiosity, I asked Stevani, "Who is he, Stevani?" my many.

Stevani looked a little surprised at my question, then replied, "You don't know him? She was the daughter of the British Emperor. He is also known to be smart and proficient in magic. I'm kind of surprised that you don't know something as common as this" Stevani replied.

The princess stepped gracefully past a group of disciples. He was accompanied by several loyal servants who walked behind him. The cynical gaze of the princess floated to the disciples they passed by.

That look made me feel like the princess was arrogant. Soon after, it was finally the turn of the new disciples to be called to take the exam. The first test we faced was the writing test, where we were tested to answer questions around the origins of magic. I feel confident and able to answer all the questions well.

After the writing exam was completed, we were directed to take the practice exam. Before starting the exam, we had to do an examination of the number of elements we mastered in the magic circle.

Each one of us has different magic elements, some have wind, fire, and various other elements. However, what shocked many people was the fact that the Emperor's daughter had power over the four elements. A user capable of controlling just three elements was already considered rare, let alone four.

However, my problem is that the magic circle used is a very common magic circle. The magic-circle is unable to detect all the elements within me that I have more elements than many people.

I feel nervous because the shadow is frightened if my element is not detected, then I will not be accepted. One by one, the other disciples were called by his name.

"Eryk Etienne!" shouted one of the officers loudly.

Finally, it was my turn. I advanced nervously and stood in the middle of the magic circle. My heart was pounding as the officer said, "Let's start."

"I'm ready" I replied in a trembling tone.

The officer activates the magic circle by saying, "Element activation."

A bright light illuminated the surroundings of the magic circle, and as I was worried, my stone elements did not shine.

They tried several times, but there were no satisfactory results. The cynical look of the surrounding disciples began to be felt, and whispers of innuendo began to sound in my ears.

After an unsuccessful element detection attempt, the officers discussed briefly and finally decided to ask me to wait until the exam results came out. They didn't allow me to take the practice exam.

"You please wait for the results of the exam to come out tomorrow and be able to go home now" said the officer in an indifferent tone.

His words were so evicting and made me feel unappreciated. I felt disgruntled and asked, "What about the practice exam?"

The attendant sarcastically replied, "You just don't have magic power, how could you possibly take the practice exam?"

I was upset and did not accept the treatment of the officer. I decided to show my strength, even if only ordinary power could be used by the common people.

Without hesitation, I directed my magic energy into the palm of my hand. A small light glittered and I released a bit of magic power that I had. The power may not be as great as those who are able to control the elements, but I want to show that I have the potential and passion to learn and develop.

Some of the disciples around me were surprised to see the magic power I was showing. Their cynical gaze slowly turned into admiration and curiosity. I felt a little relieved, although still not satisfied with the treatment of the officer.

"With the ability that I have, I still want to take the practice exam," I said in a firm voice.

The officer looked surprised and did not expect that I had magic power even if it was only a little. They looked at each other for a moment, then one of the officers nodded.

"Well, if that's what you want. You can take the practice exam, but remember that your strength is limited" said the officer with slight regret.

After that I also went to the practice exam, I will not let such an obstacle hinder me
