A quote that has been widely respected and repeatedly preached around the world.

But what about me? What should I say about 'Usaha never betray'

'Usaha never betrays?' I can only scoff at such a ridiculous idea. I mean gini I know if you try, you'll definitely achieve better results than your regular masses out there, but is that really all? Is this the key to success? Oh sure it doesn't.

The key ingredient to success is 'Talent'

No matter how much effort you put into something, you will never be able to surpass the incomparable mountain known as Talent.

Back to topic. Why do I have a grudge against the quote 'Usaha never betrays'

Bank loans? Will they lend to someone who has no parents and no assets? Well, I tried but in the end, I was rejected by the government.

But there is another way, the scholarship.

If I manage to get a scholarship, I can go to college without paying a dime.

Fortunately University A, the only university near me to offer a scholarship program that suits me. One of my teachers heard that they only offered one scholarship a year to the people at the school I attended. But that's enough for me. If I study hard enough and achieve high enough grades, there's definitely a chance.

So I studied so hard that all the friends I had been with for years became estranged. But I'm fine with that. As long as I can go to college, I can get all the friends I want. But looking back now, I could only laugh at how naive I was back then.

Sure it's your typical story of a Hero vs. a Demon King, but what can I say? As long as I like it, and it makes money, it's really good isn't it?

At least that was what I thought at first, but as time went on and as my second and third novels came out, I found myself slowly and slowly losing interest.

Not because I hate writing, no, it's just because I was made to write. Since I was serving my readers, I slowly began to stray from what I liked to write.

I started writing things I didn't like. For example, people liked the 18+ scene, It was really uncomfortable from the writer's point of view. Especially for a virgin like me. Fortunately, I had the internet to help me, but things like this were what made my passion for writing wane. I mean who would write about putting a big chicken in their mouth? Of course it's not me.

And even though I did exactly as my readers asked, aside from the first novel, I never found my novel made it into the rankings.

And this is where I am today staring blankly at my laptop

Slamming the table with my fists, I went berserk in front of my computer.

"I'm tired of this shit!"

Closing the laptop, I forcefully tried to calm myself down. Anger is not good for my blood pressure.

I actually really liked my new novel. This novel was the fruit of my frustration and desire to try something new so that I could ignite the remaining embers in my heart

It was a typical MC story that was weak to strong, but unlike my previous novels, it was set in a modern futuristic setting.

The story begins in 1980 where the 'Big Catastrophe' takes place. The three-stage disaster that struck the earth caused the world to change drastically

The first phase of the 'Great Disaster' - Shifting tectonic plates across the Earth, moving countries from where they once were, resulting in tsunamis and earthquakes, which killed millions of people in the process. The sudden shift in tectonic plates caused the world map to change permanently, with only one landmass surrounded by water.

The second phase of the 'Great Catastrophe' - Large portals begin to appear where unknown species that are later identified as demons and other races, begin to appear. At first, they were tame, but once they considered humanity weak, they started to rampage all over the place.

But with great disaster comes opportunity. When the portal appears, humanity manages to gain access to the. A special power that persisted throughout the atmosphere and came from another world. It would allow humans to do things they could only dream of before such as summoning a fireball or cutting metal.

Lastly, the third phase of the 'Great Catastrophe' - It takes place near the end of the novel, and that's when the forces of the Demon realm begin a full-scale invasion of Earth.

Ten years after the Second natural disaster, three factions rule the world. The demon faction, the Human faction, and the compromised Fantasia faction of Orcs, elves, and Dwarves.

The Fantasia faction was a kind of alliance between elves, dwarves, and orcs. And that was because they were practically forced into one.

Satan is the manifestation of 'greed'. They were created with the sole purpose of devouring planets. They would first start by entering a planet, then as time went on they would reproduce like crazy, and slowly once they gained enough power, they would devour the planet.

Elves, Orcs, and Dwarves are all refugees and survivors of the demons, who have conquered their home planet.

At first, when the elves, orcs, and dwarves arrived on earth, they chose to observe. They wanted to see if humans were worthy enough to join their alliance to fight demons. At first, they were very happy with the prospect of getting a potential ally, but as time went on, their excitement turned to disappointment, which later became disgusted.

To the arrogant elves, the selfish actions and schemes they witnessed during the dark moments of mankind made all thoughts of collaboration vanish, only to be replaced with total humiliation.

To the Orcs, the weak and fragile human body made them completely disappointed and thus deemed them unnecessary.

And to the Dwarves, the primitive technology of the human race made them seem like wandering brainless monkeys showing off their strength and intelligence without any meaningful support.

In the end, the demon faction and the Fantasia faction each claimed 3/8 of the earth, while humans only claimed 2/8 of the earth, making them a minority group.

Initially, the story begins with the protagonist enlisting in 'Lock', a special school established by the efforts of the entire human race, to raise warriors to defend the frontier against attacks from both factions.

He is your typical MC with a tragic past

- The old man died of war at the hands of the devil

- Retaliation against the Devil

...and so on

That's what you would expect from an MC.

That's my masterpiece. At least that's what I thought, but looking through the comment section I couldn't help but get angry.

I mean how do you feel if what you feel as your masterpiece is insulted?

I tried to calm myself down again.

Lately, I've been having anger issues. The simplest thing can make me angry, which shows how bad my anger problem is

But it's inevitable. With how bad my life is.

Because my blood pressure definitely increased, causing this reaction.

I opened my eyes and I found myself inside a one-bedroom apartment.

I rubbed my eyes to make sure I was still not sleeping, I blinked a few times and once again saw my strange surroundings.

'Am I not supposed to.. die?'

it was what I thought at first, but seeing that I was still breathing and looking well, I thought that maybe someone had saved me and taken me to the hospital.

But every second that passed, I realized that this was not the case.

Wh why?

It was because a big screen appeared right in front of me that surprised me.
