For Bastian, it doesn't matter. All he thought about was what mattered was that he survived. They just didn't know what kind of trouble he had gone through like this.
Bastian stepped out toward the spot where he saw the old man fall while being pushed by thugs trying to snatch the suitcase from his hand.
Bastian occasionally scratched his head which felt very itchy. The stinging smell as well as his sticky body, could not be ignored he snorted himself. His body smell was really very foul.
He now felt that he looked like Mandra, his rotten friend. Now he is not as different as his friend.
Hopefully his friends don't see him so nobody laughs at him like this or even asks why are you like that? Your body smells so bad to you? Where'd you get the suitcase? Is that what you're holding?
Well, Bastian doesn't want to hear the questions that come from his friends. He looked back in hope that no thugs would come back after him.
From a distance Bastian could see the figure of an old man who was chatting with several policemen. Huh, police! Fortunately there was that person so Bastian felt even more relieved.
Bastian stepped closer to the horde of people now staring at him until the police officers Bastian thought would try to protect him from the thugs instead stepped back as a pungent smell pierced their sense of care temporarily the old man who looked towards Bastian's hand was instantly made to smile.
He looks so very happy as if lucky to see and meet Bastian. The old man stepped closer and made Bastian stick out the suitcase he had been trying to protect.
"Sorry sir, the suitcase is rotten because I was hiding in the garbage can. Those two thugs are after me."
"Sorry if the suitcase is rotten" he said again.
"It's okay, son. It's okay," he said, then rubbed Bastian's head gently ignoring the trash that filled Bastian's head.
Now that the suitcase was in the hands of the owner made Bastian feel much calmer. Finally the suitcase was not in the hands of the wrong person hopefully this can bear a good and this reward he showed for his mother.
Hopefully, the way he helps people can make Mama's pain so reduced. Yes, Bastian knows that all good is seen by God and that a good will produce a result.
After the suitcase had been in his hands the policemen who saw it made them talk to each other with the old man. Maybe he was explaining about the suitcase and the incident where the theft occurred.
Bastian who had been silent since then only realized that the people and tissues he was going to sell he threw in the streets hopefully Joy understood his point when he threw away the newspapers and the sound of his screams I can hear enough from Joy.
Bastian who had been silent since then was now staring at the street where two figures of thugs were running but, the steps of the two thugs stopped when they saw a group of police who were still talking to make Bastian turn to look at the police who apparently did not know or see the arrival of two thugs who had stolen a suitcase belonging that guy's.
"The police officer's suitcase was stolen by them!"
The sound of Bastian's screams made the policemen quickly run. Bastian likes the departure of the police who are chasing two thugs who ran away in a storm because of fear.
The sound of gunfire sounded as if shooting the blue sky above. Bastian's eyes twinkled with amazement at the swarm of policemen walking so gallantly that even some of them ran and shouted making everyone look at him as if the policeman was a hero ready to destroy the evil.
Wow, that's so cool. That's what Bastian thought when he saw it.
"Son!" the call sounded made Bastian turn to look at the old man who was now approaching him.
"Thank you, yes, you helped me."
It felt touched by Bastian's heart that was completely knocked by the old man. For the first time there is a foreign man calling him as the child of the presence of the figure of the Father is very missed by the figure of Bastian to unconscious tears dripping down the cheeks.
"Why? Why are you crying?"
Bastian shook his head unable to speak this time. Her tears showed how her heart was now.
