Chapter 21: Bad influences

"Hem." Eleanor woke up from her sleep and stretched her hands together. Today Eleanor woke up earlier than usual. And today Eleanor will visit her parents' meal, now is the day of Eleanor's parents' second death.

Eleanor immediately took a shower and got ready as the trip to her parents' meal took 2 hours to travel.

Eleanor sets off early in the morning so she can pick Cessa up from school, as Cessa now only wants Eleanor to pick her up.

"Miss, the flower of Miss's order has arrived" said Amel carrying a bouquet of flowers into Eleanor's room.

"Thank you Mel" said Eleanor, looking at her mother's favorite white rose.

When Eleanor was ready to leave. The journey was so far from her end that Eleanor arrived at the tomb of her parents. Eleanor sprinkled flowers and placed a bouquet of white roses on the graves of her parents.

"Hallo Mom, Dad, how are you?"

"If El's news is okay. Mom, Dad, I'm sorry to disappoint you. Me and Nora like her won't get along for a time that El himself doesn't know until when." Eleanor started telling stories in front of her parents.

"It's like an excuse, but El did this to keep El alive. El just did it to save El's life. For God's love and surely thanks to Mommy and Daddy, El can still breathe today. Mom, Dad please don't be disappointed with what El's choice is." Eleanor held the tombstone of her parents, as if she were now talking to both of her parents.

Eleanor checked her watch, it's been almost 30 minutes she's been chatting with her parents. It was time for Eleanor to go home.

"Mom, Dad, El will be home now. And El promised to come here often."

Eleanor got up from her seat and walked away from the graves of her parents.

Eleanor does not go straight to Cessa's school, she returns home to clean up. Eleanor then brought Cessa home.

Eleanor took a shower and picked up Cessa. Eleanor's hair hasn't even dried up completely and she doesn't want Cessa waiting for her too long.

Eleanor gets fit when Cessa gets out of her class. Cessa who saw Eleanor immediately waved her hand.

"Mama!" call Cessa while running towards Eleanor.

"Stop sweety, Aunty's going there!" Eleanor crossed the street and approached Cessa. Eleanor was very anxious to see Cessa cross the street, let alone Cessa being so careless.

Cessa nodded her head and waited for Eleanor to approach her.

"Don't run without looking at the road conditions, it's a habit" said Eleanor as she lightly touched Cessa's nose.

"Sorry Mama, Cessa won't be careless anymore." Cessa bows her head.

"All right, now let's go home. But before that we'll eat ice cream first."

"Take it! Come on ma, Cessa can't wait to eat ice cream," said Cessa has been spraining to hear the name ice cream called.

Cessa and Eleanor eat ice cream together after which Eleanor takes Cessa to Liam's office.

Eleanor did not return home immediately after dropping Cessa off at Liam's office, so Eleanor stopped by her cafe to pick up a report last month. Eleanor had to check it out and sign it.

"Welcome ma'am" said the Goddess with a smile welcoming Eleanor's arrival.

"Siang Dew, how are you?" eleanor asked and sat down in her chair.

"Thank you Dew, please make coffee and cake as usual Dew."

"Good ma'am."

Eleanor carefully examined the file she was about to sign, not long after which the Goddess entered carrying Eleanor's favorite tea and cake.

"Thank you Dew" said Eleanor, making the Goddess nod her head.

"Together ma'am." The goddess returned to her desk and continued her work.

Meanwhile, Cessa has fallen asleep in Liam's office. Liam moved Cessa into a room in his office.

"Sleep very well Princess," said Liam while kissing Cessa's forehead.

After that Liam resumed his work.

Tolls! Geck!

"Master, Miss Angel came to visit." Nial came in to give Liam information.

"Tell him I'm not in the office."

"You've been caught lying to Liam" said Angel, barging in.

"Continue your work" Liam orders Nial and leaves Liam and Angel.

"Say what you want to talk about? I'm busy" Liam continued his work as he looked at Angel. Angel was upset at being ignored by Liam.

"Keep Cessa away from Eleanor," Angel said, making Liam frown.

"Why should?" liam asked, looking at Angel.

"Eleanor will have a bad influence on Cessa, she's not a good woman." Angel ventured to look into Liam's eyes looking at her with a murderous look.

"What are you saying that for, An? Ah, nevermind. Go An, I don't want to hear anything from your mouth, that's" Liam kicked Angel out. Angel clenched both of his hands, he had already reached this stage then he had to finish it.

"Eleanor, that woman is Liam's widow. She just got divorced a few months ago, and I'm pretty sure she approached Cessa to get close to you Liam. He'll only bring bad influence to Cessa." The final Angel finished his words.

"Widow or not? Good or bad? No business with you An, now go while I still say good. Go before you get dragged out by the security guard." Liam was so sick of hearing Angel's words.

"You'll regret Liam, listen to me. You need to keep her away from Cessa," cried Angel, making Liam heed her ears.

Indeed, who Angel dares to say bad things about Eleanor, Liam just tries to be nice because Angel is the sister of Mia his wife who has died. More than this Liam would not stay silent if Angel insulted Eleanor again. Liam resumed his work.

While Angel was feeling very upset, she hit the steering wheel of her car. Fortunately, he had not started the car so there was no honking. Again, as great as Eleanor was to Liam not wanting to hear anything bad she said about EleanorS

Liam like her had been used by Eleanor, where perhaps the cold Liam defended Eleanor whose status was a widow. Widows should not be near Liam and Cessa.

This is all because of Eleanor, Angel will devise a plan for Eleanor to be shunned by Liam and Cessa. Whatever he's gonna do as long as he and Liam can go back to what they used to be.

Angel drove out her car while planning what she would do later in the day.
