17. I'm Not a Substitute Womb

Carlos just realized there was no Calista in the living room when taking a drink on the table. Excuse me for leaving the room to find where Calista is.

Already asked the servants no one saw Calista until he was at the doorstep seeing the shadow of two people with faces getting closer.

Carlos thumped and hugged Calista tightly. "Don't do that again. Fight them if you are forced. I don't like having mine touched by another man. Let's go in, you should eat!"

Calista nodded then closed in feeling a kiss on his forehead and lips. "I go in first" said Calista smiling sweetly and then stepped inside the house first.

Carlos returned a smile Calista no less sweet. His hand touched the chest field because his heart beat so hard. He took a long breath.

"I'm like a big new kid" Carlos smiled and shook his head to realize he had felt the characteristics of falling in love.

Calista's body froze when she was on the doorstep of the dining room. One of the guests who just arrived there. He swallowed the saliva with great difficulty.

Calista looked at his foster sister. It is located between Mami Ivy and Malvin. Carlos is next to Malvin.

Calista is startled by Carlos' question in the middle of the family dinner crowd.

"Calt. It's red meat for you" Carlos said, putting red meat on his plate.

Papi Edzard cleared his throat staring at Carlos sharply.

"Come, Ed. Why are you still the same as before" grumbled Carlos when it was just a way to make everyone unsuspecting about his relationship with Calista.

"Are you afraid Carlos likes Calista?" nadia asked and laughed. "That's not possible" Nadia continued.

However, the adults were silent because they knew that Carlos was crazy about Calista when he was two years old and Nadia did not know that.

"Mommy, this is so good. Calista kangen Mami's cooking," said Calista switched the conversation so as not to be as awkward as just now.

"Tomorrow Mami send favorite food and certainly healthy for you," said Mami Ivy made Calista hug her foster mother.

Carlos himself was astonished at Calista's seemingly ordinary attitude. Whether it was just pretend or indeed Calista was ordinary when Nadia was friendly to him.

"Carl. Why are you so quiet?" ask Nadia lirih.

Carlos breathed. "I'm fine" he said and went back to eating.

The night is getting late. Alexander and Adiwijaya's family had bailed home after dinner together and gave gifts to the twins.

Since Nadia is back, Calista plans to stay at her adoptive parents' house and she is already in the room leaving Carlos alone while Nadia is still chatting with Mami Ivy.

Finally Carlos and Nadia say goodbye. "Please take care of Calista for me, Vy!" carlos said as he shook hands.

"Sure" said Mami Ivy.

Carlos and Nadia get into a car, driving down the street of Jakarta to their luxury home.

"Carl. Are you quiet a lot? and what is this? why not ask me how my vacation is?" cerca Nadia noticed Carlos was different.

"I'm exhausted, Nad. Where have you been without news and not come home?"

Nadia throbs. "I was too happy with my friends to forget. Sorry," said Nadia with a face turned sad.

Carlos just kept quiet. Not out of anger towards Nadia, but out of concern for Calista. In fact, if Nadia does not give news then she will be upset.

Moments later, their car arrived home. Carlos just got out of the car without waiting for Nadia.

Nadia thought, Carlos is angry at her. When she arrived in her room, she did not see her husband. A smile rose then walked towards the wardrobe and picked up Carlos's favorite lingerie.

Carlos came out of the bathroom to find Nadia was lying down with sensu style al made him sigh.

He climbed into the bed and threw himself. "I'm tired tonight."
