Q2: Dating to Reject Love

The atmosphere of the Mall is quite crowded. Queen's already made an appointment with Jonas here. But he deliberately came early. Now Queen is sitting alone in a fast food restaurant not far from the cinema looking at her mobile phone, or rather the chat room with the Clouds.

"He didn't send me a message after last night's call?" his weakness. He has been opening the chat room since he woke up. But the man did not return it.

"I know he's busy because of his busy schedule, but why not send me a message? At least greet me, Cake!" grouse Queen. He then went to his group chat room which is now quite quiet. He wrote the word "Morning" just to greet them all.

Unfortunately there is even a photo of Bianca feeding rabbits with her lover Galang. The couple is now really kasmaran. Moreover, Galang plans not to return to Berlin and study his father's company.

The queen who saw him pursed her lips. He is upset that all his friends now have a partner. He also knew about Sera and Yanuar's relationship.

"So, am I the only one now??? Ughhhh!" his gerrick.

"Uhm, Queen." But his complaints stopped when a man with thick-frame glasses and a fairly casual style came up to him. The Queen hurriedly changed her face to smile.

"Hi, Jonas!" greet the Queen in a happy tone. Jonas returns Queen's smile and sits at the same table.

"I'm sorry, it must have been a long time, yes, waiting for me" said Jonas somewhat guiltily.

Queen hurriedly shook her head.

"I used to come early on every appointment, haha," he laughed, but he deliberately came early to make Jonas uncomfortable.

"Yes, but ..." Jonas scratched the back of his head that was not itching at all.

"I just feel weird. Normally, late women, waiting men, but you—"

"I'm different. Aye, right?" cut the Queen while smiling brightly. Jonas reflexes smiled as well.

"Yes, you are different, Queen," Jonas said.

"That's why I fell in love with you. Even until now," Jonas' inner gaze upon the beautiful face of a Queen.

"So, what do you want to order?" asked Queen to immediately switch the conversation.

"Ah, I ... I don't want to eat. Will the movie start soon? Can we just buy some popcorn and get ready?" jonas proposes while pointing towards the bisocope with his thumb.

"You're right!" timpal Queen then moved.

"Now how about we order food. You'd be tired of watching horror-thriller movies if you didn't chew something, right?" hatch Queen with a slanted smile.

Jonas was sweating at his temple.

"Ho-horror and thriller? Why did you choose this movie?" panic Jonas.

Queen scrunched her forehead, as if she did not feel guilty.

"Don't you free me to choose what movies we want to watch?" ask Queen.

"I-yes, but ..." Jonas did not argue. He was just trying to please the Queen. Unfortunately that intention had instead caught himself in a calamity.

They finally watched. Sweat started pouring in Jonas' temple. I really can't watch a movie of this genre. He could only close his eyes. Unfortunately the memory of Galang's abomination even rotated in his brain. He really can't close his eyes.

"Hm ... Queen ... Excuse me for a moment" said Jonas straight out of the cinema without waiting for Queen's answer. Hearing that, the Queen silently smiled.

Shortly after, the film ends. Queen went to Jonas who is now in a fast food restaurant not far from the cinema.

"Jonas? Are you all right?" ask Queen.

The limp Jonas was now just leaning over the table and glancing towards Queen.

"Sorry, Queen ... I can't watch with you .." said Jonas rather disappointed.

"I really couldn't watch that genre" he continued

Queen sat down in front of Jonas. He smiled widely.

"It's okay, Jonas ..." Queen holds Jonas's hand on the back.

"I was wrong. I should have asked you." Queen pretended to feel guilty.

"No, Queen ... I ... I mean, you're not wrong. I'm the only one who can't be a strong man," disappointed Jonas who now lowered his head.

"A strong man?" Queen quoted an important word from Jonas's sentence.

"Why did you become such a strong man, Jonas?" ask Queen.

Jonas then looked at the confused Queen's face.

"I-i ..." Jonas folded his lips. Could this be the right time? Is not the Queen's heart empty now?

"What's the matter, Jonas?" ask Queen again.

Jonas also strengthened his heart.

"This is the time!" his determination in heart. He took Queen's hand and looked her in the eye.

Queen is certainly aware of Jonas's movements. But he still wants to see what happens next.

"City ... I ... Actually I'm ..." Suddenly doubts arose in Jonas' heart.

"What's the matter, Jonas?" ask Queen again in a soft tone.

Jonas got a little misbehaved, his face reddened.

"Uhm, I ..." Jonas still looked at Queen's face as if looking forward to the next sentence.

"I'VE LIKED YOU SINCE HIGH SCHOOL, QUEEN!" jonas said in one breath and lowered his head.

Queen's eyes were round, but this was indeed what she wanted to hear.

"Wouldn't it be easier after this?" thought Queen while silently smiling obliquely.

"Maybe it's too fast. I know, you just broke your heart, but .. but I hope that I ..." Jonas raised his head and looked at Queen's face again.

"I wish I could be your heart's medicine" Jonas said. But unfortunately Queen did not show a happy face but was confused.

"She really likes me .." muttered Queen inwardly, then pulled her hand. Jonas stared at Queen in surprise. Her reaction was unlike that of a woman who had just heard a declaration of love.

"Jonah ... Sorry," said Queen, who now looks at Jonas seriously.

"What's? Pardon?" Jonas was a bit off with Queen's words.

"sorry. Sorry for today" Queen said.

Jonas scrunched his forehead.

"Sorry for today? What do you mean, Queen?" jonas asked not to understand.

"Sorry for a bad date. I'm sorry to force you to express your feelings, but I don't think you can be my heart's medicine" Queen said. His eyes were now different, looking more resolute and sure.

"My heart is empty now, but I don't allow anyone to fill it. So, sorry. You better forget how you feel for me. Don't let you expend energy for nothing" concluded Queen at length.

Jonas lowered his head. He even chuckles.

"For nothing? So my heart, my feelings are in vain do you think?" jonas asked and raised his head and looked at Queen. His eyes are so sharp.

Queen scrunched her forehead.

"Ups! Did I say it wrong?" inner Queen.
