I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOT YOU

I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOT YOU
Part 7's

"Look Mama Ida, just go straight because Mas Alam has long wanted to talk about this." Mas Alam opened the conversation.

While Khayzuran again let out his tears and rubbed with a tissue.

"Your work!" Khayzuran hit the body of Mas Alam who seemed resigned.

"What is this really about?" My words don't understand.

"Mas Alam, would like to propose to Mama Ida to be his second wife."

"What?"

"If Mama Ida doesn't mind, Mas will be fair."

The sound of Khayzuran's cry is getting louder hearing Mas Alam's words. I was still in shock and didn't know what to say. But deep down in my heart actually I have loved Mas Alam since his first arrival in this complex.

"Give me a week, I should also discuss this with my son and my brother in Saudi Arabia."

"You can really do this in front of my eyes!" Khayzuran continued to cry loudly and beat Mas Alam.

"I won't accept him as my madam!"

"Ma. And besides Mama Ida this widow is not a girl anymore, her age is also five years older than Papa. His son also needs a father figure. Papa just practiced the sunah of the Prophet."

"Mama's been trying to serve papa for five years and this is papa's reply now! All this time Mama had been silent to see papa steal a look to Mama Ida, but today Papa has dared to openly one car and want to propose to Mama Ida!"

"Will Mama Ida accept me?" Tanya Mas Alam again ignored Khayzuran's remarks.

"Give me a week later I'll call and ...." I said while looking at Khayzuran.

"Please give understanding to Wife Mas Alam about the practice of polygamy. May Khay get guidance."

Khayzuran looked at me sharply and seemed to want to re-express his emotions. His clenched hands firmly held the grip, only to stand directly held back by Mas Alam.

"Well, wait another week. Come on Ma, let's go home." Mas Alam pulled Khayzuran's hand before his emotions exploded again.

I smiled after the departure of Mas Alam and Khayzuran. My dream of becoming Mas Alam's wife will finally come true. That way I can prove to my ex-husband Abu Fauzan that I am still liked by handsome men.

Six days have passed and I have not seen Khayzuran in front of his house since that time. But Mas Alam is still on the move as usual even now opens a small shop in front of the house in addition to being the caretaker of the mosque. Several times I smiled when I accidentally looked at Mas Alam when I left the house. The seeds of love grow deeper in my heart.

In the afternoon my brother Teguh Suprayogi finally came to my house after applying for leave permit for a while. Kak Teguh is currently working in Saudi Arabia, various jobs are done ranging from being a restaurant chef, masseur and cleaner was done. My parents are long dead and if I want to get married of course I have to call this brother of mine to be my guardian. But unfortunately my brother despite his age almost stepped on the head of four never married with the reason of wanting to be established first in order to make his wife and child happy later.

"You sure deck, you want to be his second wife?"

"I'm sure sister, I don't hate polygamy anyway."

"But his first wife had not been able to receive a complaint. Brother is afraid that your second marriage will not last as long as before."

Sis Teguh only breathed a long breath after hearing my words. I'm not wrong, am I? I also did not seize Mas Alam completely, but just wanted to jointly build a household with Mas Alam. Ida has also agreed and really wants to get a father as good as Mas Alam.

The day of the application arrived, Mas Alam with his parents came to propose to me. Kak Teguh conveyed messages to Mas Alam to be fair to his two wives and also conveyed the failure of my previous household that began from polygamy secretly. I was a little worried because Khayzuran did not appear.

"Mbak Khayzuran why don't you come, Mas?"

The look on Mas Alam and his parents changed drastically. I suspect something is not right, lest Mbak Khayzuran would-be mad brother I disagree with this marriage.

"That's uh..." Nature answered my question.

"Khayzuran is at his parents' house, he'll be here to sign the affidavit." Mother Mas Alam replied.

"Said Khayzuran's father was having a stroke, so while there first." Father Mas Alam connect Mother's answer.

"I'm sorry Mas Alam I hope Khayzuran's father will recover soon."

Mas Alam nodded along with the smile of his parents. Brother Teguh allowed me to open my veil. Getting a look of amazement from Mas Alam made me blush embarrassed and immediately put on the veil again.

*****

I lay in bed with my hands still touching my phone, opening the news on the homepage to see the activities of friends who only I limited to fellow women only. For a male friend only Kak Teguh and my ex-husband Abu Fauzan who apparently still exist but no activity whatsoever. Sometimes I check his wife Riana's account and see the harmony of their household that is often displayed.

Ah, if Abu Fauzan used to be this harmonious but the truth is always rude to me even I was forbidden to post our togetherness if on vacation. A notification of incoming messages, seen an account and photos that are no stranger to me. I slowly opened it and saw a harsh sentence directed at me.

[Hey, actors don't have to hide behind your veil! Is the stock of single men extinct until you have to take my husband!]

I recited my forehead, it turns out that Mas Alam has not asked permission and gave understanding to Mbak Khayzuran. I re-type the reply message in the inbox.

[Assalamualaikum how are you Dad Ma'am in the village? Is it still a stroke?]

[Heh, brazen your mouth!!! My father died 10 years ago.]

The deg!

Did Mas Alam and his parents lie to me?

Immediately I SMS Mas Alam to ask.

[Mas, Khayzuran's father said he was dead. So what is Khayzuran doing in the village?]

Five minutes later, though,

[Oh that, uncle Khayzuran who was already considered his own father. There was taking care of his uncle who was sick because Khayzuran said again kangen also wanted to meet. ]

I understand, it seems I've misunderstood. Hopefully our marriage will go well. I will prove to my ex-husband Abu Fauzan that his ex-wife can still find a man who can be my priest as well as a father.
