I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOT YOU

I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOT YOU
The Part 25

Evening Windy can not sleep as well as Nature who still thinks about the fate of her household with Khayzuran. Each was busy playing the phone, until then Windy intended to express his heart.

"Well, how long will you be in my house?" Ask Windy.

"You don't know, because you are also still out of town to finish the business." Nature responded by staying focused with her phone screen.

"I'm sorry if I was a little emotional this afternoon."

"Oh, forget it. Papa's forgotten about that."

"Wouldn't you just go back to the village? Windy was afraid that Mom would separate us like Papa and Khayzuran."

"Mama take it easy, maybe Papa is also wrong to follow the will of Mother so much that he sacrificed Papa's two wives before. But this time it's the last time Papa gets married and won't remarry any wives." Nature stroked the soft hair of Windy.

"Thank you, Pah."

Mother who happened to pass in front of Windy and Nature's room, accidentally heard the two of them talking. His feet stopped, his tears falling without sound as much as possible. Mom went back to the room and started packing her things into the suitcase.

Mother's mind recalls the past when Nature asked Khayzuran to be her wife. His heart was not willing at that time but Nature insisted to stay married or he would leave Mother and Father in the village.

Early in the morning at dawn by walking slowly, Mother quietly left the house. Mother did not expect that this time Nature would rebel against her, even intending not to marry again if Mother told her to.

On foot, I headed to the bus terminal for almost half an hour. The bus that will take him to his hometown, still looks lonely because there are no passengers. I bought breakfast and drinks at a food stall not far from the terminal.

Fortunately there was still money left over from Nature given though not much. The sun began to rise, the passengers came to board the bus. After picking up the ticket and paying for it, Mom got on the bus.

There was a sense of tightness in his chest when he left the city and returned to his hometown. The trip took eight hours, so Mom chose to sleep on the bus.

Now that Mother is back in her house, photos of Nature from childhood to adulthood are still displayed on the wall of the living room. Mother rubbed the dusty photo with her hands while shedding tears.

His beloved son Alam is no longer his own but his wife's. With trembling hands Mom picked up the phone that had been switched off. There are dozens of messages from Nature asking for his whereabouts. I did not reply to the message, then contacted Khayzuran.

Khayzuran is busy shopping at a mall, of course with credit card facilities provided by his lover Yusrizal at this time. His phone rang and Khayzuran stared in disbelief at who had contacted him.

"Hello." Khayzuran picked up a phone call while sitting on the bench where the mall visitors rest.

"This is Mom son, can you cancel your divorce with Nature?" Mother's voice was clear.

"What dream did Mom have last night to tell me to cancel the divorce?" The Khayzuran withstood laughter.

"I'm sorry for the mother who interfered in your household."

"Oh sure Mom is upset because she failed to get a treasure gono-gini right, so Mom persuaded me to cancel the divorce."

"It's not like that, son."

"Mom would have known that the house was now taken by the bank, so I no longer had to bother persuading me. After all, the mother's third wife was rich, and I no longer had to beg her to come back. I'm going to stay divorced with my mom's son and remarry with my current boyfriend. Later I'll see that I'm not barren like Mom's accusation."

Clik.

Khayzuran disconnects the call before Mom starts talking and continues her shopping activities. While Mom sat down in the living room chair while contemplating her mistake.

After a trial that went a few months, finally Khayzuran officially bear the status of widow. All corroborating evidence was handed over by Khayzuran, such as SMS allegations from Mother who accused him of barrenness, affidavits from five hospitals stating Khayzuran was fertile, and the, coupled with Nature who remarried with Windy despite the approval of Khayzuran. But for the marriage of Alam and Anna Diana, Khayzuran was forced to make a polygamy agreement.

Nature does not dwell anymore with the evidence provided by the lawyer Khayzuran, so finally Nature was asked to menalak Khayzuran when the divorce was approved by the judge. There are no gono-gini treasures, because Nature knows herself enough not to ask for them. During this time as a large daily cost of the household actually comes from the hard work of Khayzuran and the legacy of his parents.

As Khayzuran was about to walk out of the building area, Alam called out to him. Behind Nature there is Windy who was also present at the conference. Nature stepped her feet towards the Khayzuran while Windy sat still on the chair.

"I'm sorry for everything that's happened." Nature extended a hand to shake the hand that was greeted by the Khayzuran.

"It's all over and I've forgiven Mas, now we're going to live each other's new lives. After my iddah is over, I will marry the man who truly loves me. I hope you will come on my wedding day. Don't forget to take my wife."

"Thank you."

Khayzuran walked up to a luxury sports car that was parked in front of the road and rode it. Yusrizal opened the car window and waved his hand while smiling at Alam and Windy who were already standing together. Alam and Windy returned Yusrizal's hand and smiled, staring at the car that was slowly moving away from where they were standing.

"Finally, Papa must inaugurate our marriage to KUA and divorce Papa's second wife."

"It's just a problem that Papa doesn't know where Anna is now."

"Papa just text Anna, and ask her to take care of the divorce. Or Papa himself is suing for divorce first." Windy.

Nature types a message to Anna, while Windy is happy that she will be her only wife next to her husband's Nature.

While elsewhere, Anna is busy fighting with Yoan who is soon separated by Teguh. The neighbors just watched the scene between Anna and Yoan. Hamida's mother was like her habit of secretly recording the fight scene.

"HAD! STOPIT! ARE YOU NOT ASHAMED OF YOUR AGE!" Firmly held back Anna's hand that was about to claw Yoan's smooth face.

"ASK YOURSELF WITH YOUR SISTER!!! VEILED BUT NOTHING AT ALL!"

"YOU ALSO DECK, WHY IS YOAN AGAIN WORSHIPING IN YOUR HOUSE DISTURBING!" Steadfast rebuking Anna makes Anna's guts become shrivelled.

"I don't mean to interrupt, it's not a place of worship."

"GET INTO YOUR HOUSE DECK, EMBARRASS YOUR SISTER!" Stubborn snarl Anna.

"BAD BOY!" Anna ran into the house.

"I'm sorry on behalf of my sister." He said with Yoan.

"Actually your sister why hate me and forbid me to worship in my own house? Though already know that the government itself is calling for worship in their respective homes."

"I am also confused why my sister is so, since her attitude became strange. But this may be my fault for failing to educate my sister. Again I'm sorry."

"Alright, but if it happens again then I'll report it to the police."

Sighs, thankful that Joan forgave Anna. When Teguh entered the house, Teguh was surprised to see Anna and Ida crying together.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?"

Anna handed over her phone containing a message from Nature. Staunchly sitting on the floor in disbelief, Anna divorced her husband again.
