"Umi, Ida go to school first." Ida kissed Anna Diana's hand.
"Yes be careful on the road."
I look at the back of my son Ida who is now forced to drop status because of attending Elementary School when previously my son got the best education in favorite SDIT. Inevitably for Ida's long future and my financial condition that does not allow me to finally choose the option even though I actually hate the current government.
The sound of a freight car suddenly came to a halt next to my long-empty home. The old owner had apparently managed to sell his house until finally now inhabited by new neighbors. Looked like a handsome, handsome man with a beard and panties coming down from the car. A woman wearing a wide hijab also got out of the car.
I just watched from the front of my house see how beautiful the two of them were. I remember my ex-husband Abu Fauzan leaving me. We used to be that friendly before we decided to emigrate. But after the hijrah treatment Abu Fauzan very inversely proportional, more rude and irritable if I make the slightest mistake.
I went back inside the house, finished the laundry piled up and cooked and cleaned the house. The day before noon, the sound of knocking on the door was heard when I was busy continuing to make a political writing of someone's order to be posted on the sosmed account.
"Ah, must be Mama Siska again this." I muttered to myself, because among the other neighbors only Mama Siska would say hello to me. I actually don't like Mama Siska.
With a lazy step I opened the door to prepare to expel Mama Siska as usual. But I haven't had the chance to open my mouth, I was surprised because it was not Mama Siska who was standing at the door.
"Assalamualaikum Mama Ida."
"Eh.. wa'alaikum greetings." A little surprised because my new neighbor knows my everyday nickname in this complex.
"Introduce my name Khayzuran, just moved into the house next door this morning. This is a blessing meal for Mama Ida. I'm sorry Mama Ida if we're only capable of this."
I gladly received the two-pack of boxed rice from his hand.
"Thank you, thank you."
Well, even though this is against my belief, I think it's just food.
"I'm sorry Mama Ida wants to take the rice box to the other neighbors."
I nodded and smiled, while next to my house it turned out that Khayzuran's husband was observing me secretly. Our blind eyes accidentally looked in a few seconds as I was about to step into the house. For some reason my chest suddenly rippled, my face turned red from the incident just now. It is fortunate that I kept my veil so that Khayzuran's husband did not see my red face.
Since that incident I began to like Khayzuran's husband, even stealing views when drying clothes or sweeping the porch of the house. From rumors of mothers who often shop for vegetables, I was informed that the marriage of Khayzuran and Ustadz Alam had lasted for five years and had not been blessed with children. Listen to me because of the barren Khayzuran. Whether it was true or not, but I felt I had a chance to become the second wife of Ustadz Alam.
This afternoon I happened to have to go to the ATM to take money, immediately I walked out of the complex while waiting for the angkot to pass. The sound of a car horn shocked me from behind. The black car lowered its glass and appeared to be Ustadz Alam wearing sunglasses and a creamy Koko shirt and black cloth pants. In a few seconds I was fascinated to see his good looks, until the sound of Nature made my consciousness return.
"Where is Mother Ida? If I want to be able to interject coincidences we are in the same direction as it."
"You go to an ATM near the market and shop monthly."
"It just so happens that if you come with me, I'll pick up my wife who is taking care of the store in the market." He opened the car door for me.
Back in my face blushed with the embarrassment that came back to ambush me when I got in the car and back Ustadz Alam closed the door for me. I felt awkward not knowing what to say, while Ustadz Alam seemed to be casually driving his car.
"Well you know where Ustadz works?"
"Yes sorry, Mas Alam."
"I'm not an ustadz but people who like to think I'm a real ustadz even though I only work as a mosque manager. My wife Khayzuran helps the economy by selling hijab and gown in the shop."
"Oh so...."
"If you can know, what do people say that Mama Ida has been a widow for a year?"
"True, ustadz.eh sorry Mas Alam."
Mas Alam just smiled and did not ask back because now the car has entered the parking area in the modern market. I got out of the car right away before Mas Alam intended to open the door for me. Mas Alam just smiled holding amusedly, for a moment when I said goodbye to go to the ATM and shopping for necessities.
When I finished shopping, I saw a hand pull my clothes and a slap landed on my face.
Plaque!
"Basic actor!!! Seductive husband of people!"
"It's ma, shame ... It's just a misunderstanding."
I grimaced in pain while removing my cheek and allowing the veil to unfold. Mas Alam was holding Khayzuran who was preparing to vent his anger back to me.
"So you're an actor, just wait at home! Our business is not done."
Mas Alam forcibly pulled Khayzuran's hand from before me and boarded his car. While the people in the market all pay attention and whisper among fellow market visitors.
I who could not bear the gaze of the people immediately went up the angkot to head home. Sure enough, in front of my house, Khayzuran was already standing in front of the door with Mas Alam with an angry look and the rest of the tears still stuck on his face.
"Patience ma, we'll talk first. Not good with the other neighbors." Mas Alam calms the Khayzuran.
"Let me open the door first and we'll talk inside the house." I said with a sense of caution.
Khayzuran just kept quiet and threw away his face while Mas Alam nodded and allowed me to unlock the door of the house.
"Come, Khay and Mas Alam enter first. Sorry a bit messy, I haven't had time to finish packing customer's goods."
I put the groceries in the kitchen, made drinking water and then headed to the minimalist living room that still had a few piles of customer-order clothes, along with payment notes that also piled up on the guest table.
"Mama Ida sells gamis huh?" Ask the Nature.
"Yes, it's only been a year that I've been living to connect. It is worth earning from online sales." My answer.
"It's enough base!" Khayzuran shouted out loudly, making me and Mas Alam silent for a moment.
