Episode 6 - Don't Want to Let Go

The sky began to look dark, the sun had sunk to the west. Similarly, Kongjae High School students who have begun to compete get the gate to get out of the school yard.

Eliana walked in calm footsteps followed by Lucas beside her. Both of them just kept silent and said not a word. In the end, Eliana stopped her footsteps coming out of the school gate as soon as she heard someone call her many times.

"Diana!!! Wait!!!" shouted that figure for the umpteenth time.

Eliana came to a halt, then looked back to ascertain who the person who had called her several times was. His face instantly pale when he found the figure he had been eager to talk to ever since.

"Ri-Riu?" call Eliana with a look of pity.

"Hosh .. hosh .. Your way is fast, yes. I called you many times but you didn't hear it" Riu said with disordered breathing.

"What's wrong? Where's Bomi?" eliana asked while looking at Riu's left right who did not see the figure of Bomi beside her.

"Ah, you don't have to discuss it. Oh yeah, you're a guy named Lucas, right? If you're willing, can you just leave us alone? I want to speak four eyes with her," Riu asked with an annoyed look towards Lucas.

"Hm, it's up to Eliana. I can't possibly force it if he doesn't want to" replied Lucas who then nudged Eliana's arm.

"W-that's it, ba-all right, let's talk for a second. Lucas, you wait over there, I won't be long" Eliana said in a low tone.

"All right,"

"I can't believe Riu will see me first. I miss her so much, can't you break your relationship with Bomi?" Eliana thought while muttering.

Lucas then walks away from Eliana so he can't hear the conversation between the two. Upon learning that Lucas is on the other side, Riu begins a conversation with Eliana.

"Do you know how I felt when I found out that you had a best friend besides me?" riu asked with an anxious look on his face.

"Ah, te-of course not. What's wrong?" Eliana turned around.

"I was disappointed, I was very, very disappointed when I found out about it from your classmates. Can you stay away from her?" said Riu still with her anxious look.

"Is Riu jealous because I'm friends with Lucas? How could he be like that?! As for me .. he did not even think of my feelings in the slightest," Eliana said in her heart as she pressed her chest to endure the pain.

"Eliana? You heard me, right?"

"You ... how can you speak so readily?" eliana's toilet unwittingly shed tears until it soaked her cheeks.

"E-e-eliana! Don't cry, I'm sorry if I'm guilty!! Please don't cry" Riu then held onto Eliana's wrist tightly and carried her closer to a long chair.

The two sat down and kept quiet, but Riu's gaze was not at all separated from Eliana's face. He watched closely the figure of the girl in front of him who was crying because of it.

"Riu, I know we've been friends a long time. You are my only best friend, that's what I've been thinking about for a long time" said Eliana, opening a long silence between the two.

"What do you mean, Eliana?"

"What I mean is, even though we've been friends for a long time, but you shouldn't do anything to me" said Eliana, who then got up from her chair.

Riu gaped at the words of Eliana that had never been spoken from the girl's mouth to him. Slowly Eliana walked away from the figure of Riu who was talking four eyes with her.

Lucas who realized that the conversation between Eliana and Riu was over, spontaneously his hand waved at Eliana. He returned the wave of the hand with a big smile even though he was unable to deceive anyone when he saw his eyes.

"It looks like the man made Eliana cry. But I also have no right to ask him. It's better now that I calm her down first," Lucas thought with a gaze that could not be separated from Eliana.

Dark skies began to cover the earth, but with the light of the moon can make the streets look bright.

***Tuk! Yoke! Tuk*

**Drrrttt*****

A call came in on a cell phone that was being held by Eliana. The name on the phone screen made him reluctant to pick up the call.

He let out a long sigh while putting his phone on the study table in the room. However ...

*TOK! GECK! GECK!*

Suddenly the door of his room sounded, as soon as possible he got up from his bed to open the door.

"Ah, Brother? What's up?" eliana asked with a simple face.

"There's Riu up ahead, he's looking for you. He said he called you many times, but he didn't pick up" Irena said.

"What?! Ri--Riu?" eliana asked to make sure that her hearing was not problematic.

"Yes, hurry out and invite him in. She looked cold," Irena ordered as she pointed her hand towards the entrance.

"I-yeah, all right, brother,"

Without thinking for a long time, Eliana immediately opened the door for Riu who she said wanted to meet her. Slowly he moved his feet closer towards Riu who was looking at the stars in the sky.

"What are you doing here?" eliana asked with a cold face.

"The stars shine beautifully, don't they?" said Riu was trying to make small talk.

"You'd better get in, it's really cold in here" Eliana said, pulling Riu's arm to bring her into the house.

"No, I just want to see you for a little while, it won't take long" refuted Riu who then tried to remove Eliana's hand from her arm.

"At least wear this, it's very cold outside" Eliana said as she put a scarf on Riu.

"Thank you, you never change. I'm grateful to have a friend like you" Riu said with a smile on her face.

10 Years ago, both came from families with high-level people who were always respected by many. But shortly after Eliana's father made a project that was felt to be successful, suddenly the project failed to make all assets including the company that had been developed over the years was forced to be released.

From then on Eliana's fine life flipped 180°. Because it was too frustrating for the failure, Eliana's father began to drink so much that he did not care about his family life.

Knowing that Eliana's family is on edge, Riu's family is always trying to help them.

But Eliana's mother, who did not want to trouble her friend, was forced to refuse a gift that would certainly rebuild its glory.
