CHAPTER 17: THE TIGER MAN

Elos and Riona had already walked quite a distance away from Hiam City, even the grassy ground around them had already turned into a desert. It had been 2 days since they left from the Guli Village where they killed the villagers before, therefore their location was quite far in the middle of the barren land.

"Master, I can still walk-in" said Riona who tried to persuade Elos.

But Elos shook his head very firmly "No, you are already very tired! Riona, remember this carefully! You're not just my follower! Even though you always call me master, I always think of you as more than that, you are my woman! I've been so hurt to see my woman hurt, that's why I won't let you experience any more pain. Especially if it continues like this then you can die from lack of water, I will not let it happen!".

Riona's face was slightly flushed, although she always referred to Elos as the master because she was already a special soldier of Elos but her feelings never changed. So he was very pleased at what Elos had said just now, he held the smile on his face as best he could before sitting on the sandy soil to rest.

Elos is not tired because he is a skull, but Elos still sits to accompany Riona.

They sat there for about an hour until the sweat on Riona's face had reduced a lot, feeling that her condition had started to improve then Riona said again "Master, I've been very good now, I've been very good, no problem walking anymore!".

Riona chased after Elos as quickly as possible, they again followed the trail left behind by the Zombie Warrior.

Actually the main reason why they spend a lot of time in this barren land is because they do not know the direction to the nearest city, so they can only carelessly step up to find a city or village to rest.

The problem is that Riona managed to find an oasis that turned out to be a mirage, so they have been tricked several times by the mirage.

As Elos and Riona walked further and further following in the footsteps of the Zombie Warrior, they suddenly heard the sound of a fight.

"Graaaaa!", a loud shout was heard in the middle of the fight, and Elos knew that it was the cry of the Zombie Warrior. As his master, Elos would have recognized the voices of his followers.

"Let's go, see what's really going on!", cried Elos who ran towards the direction where the voice came from.

Even though the people encountered are enemies, they must still have water resources because to live in this desert then the water is needed to stay alive. Hence, Elos decided to meet the people fighting against the Zombie Warrior as well as find out the location of their water.

When Elos and Riona were already near the Zombie Warrior, they found that there were 5 people who surrounded the Zombie Warrior.

These people are humans who have the tail and ears of a tiger, they are half-human animals. Among these 5 people, they were all men wearing leather armor, they did not carry any weapons at all because their claws were the best weapons.

Elos could judge that these 5 people were most likely a soldier, but they were all too thin which showed that they were lacking in food.

Moreover, they were quite frightened towards the Zombie Warrior who had a body of 3 meters. Fortunately the man who was their leader advanced boldly to fight the Zombie Warrior, the soldiers behind him came forward to help their leader.

Elos and Riona decided to hide among the sand first while observing what happened.

These tiger humans were indeed not strong, but they were extremely nimble which made the Zombie Warrior difficult to hit them. After all, the Zombie Warrior had an attack power so great that it caused its movements to become slower.

The tiger human leader stepped forward towards the Zombie Warrior who raised his hand to hit.

"Shelf!".

The Zombie Warrior struck towards the tiger human leader who walked over, but the tiger human leader jumped in time so he managed to dodge the blow.

After dodging, he dashed towards the Zombie Warrior's feet before slashing at it.

"Dash!".

A scratch wound appeared on the Zombie Warrior's leg as a result of the claw, but the wound was not fatal at all. Even the Zombie Warrior did not feel the slightest pain, he turned around to hit this tiger human leader.

The other 4 warriors moved forward and tried to slash down the Zombie Warrior as well, the Zombie Warrior simply ignored the small attack without giving him any pain, after all as a zombie then he could hardly feel any pain anymore. He was still trying to hit the enemy leader, the tiger man leader was trying to dodge again but he knew that it was too late. If it continued like this, the Zombie Warrior fist would definitely hit him. As long as this fist hits him then his bones will be shattered.

When the fist was about to hit him, even the enemy tiger man leader had already closed his eyes because he could not avoid it, a cry sounded "Zombie Warrior, enough to get there!".
