"Wait, are you not a follower of Elos?", asked Rilhe strangely because based on the task he got then the enemy they fought this time was the new Master of the Labyrinth, Fjorten Elos.

Kurt nodded firmly "My master is Halon, Master of the 8th Labyrinth! My master gave me the task of helping Mr. Elos, therefore even if I am not his follower then I will not allow anyone to seize Novus City".

Rilhe looked at Kurt with a mocking smile "I don't mean to underestimate your strength, however I can feel that you have the same power as me which is rank 3. The problem here is that I have nearly 10,000 troops fighting with me, while you're here alone. Do you think you can still win?".

Kurt raised his head slightly to find that the thousands of ships behind Rilhe were getting closer, it was only a matter of time before all those ships landed and fought Kurt.

Although things were not good, Kurt did not panic "Wouldn't it be tens of thousands of soldiers, it would not scare me".

Rilhe slightly nodded "I appreciate your bravery, at least with your being here then everything becomes more interesting. I thought that seizing Novus City would only be boring, luckily you're here! Kurt just stood still staring at Rilhe coldly, rather he did not speak too often.

"It doesn't seem very useful to allow my surviving troops to fight you, they will just die" said Rilhe who turned to stare at his entire surviving army "All of you, all of you, I'll hold this monster, but if I can kill it then I'll kill it. Therefore, you can go attack Novus City from somewhere else. If you all attack from in front of this Kurt, then you'll just die".

Rilhe's entire army stared at each other before nodding in agreement, the hundreds of Merchant Federation ships that were still defending immediately turned around to attack Novus City through another direction.

Although Rilhe did not accompany them, yet they had already heard about the power in Novus City. So they knew that no one was strong enough to stop them from attacking Novus City, even though Rilhe was not around

Looking at his army that had gone the other way, Rilhe raised his sword "Then I will fight you here! Don't even think about chasing my fleet of runaways or returning to Novus City, because as long as you show me the gap I will kill you".

Kurt slightly shook his head "I don't plan to stop your fleeing troops or return to Novus City to guard it. Although that woman is not as strong as I am, but she is already more than enough to protect Novus City alone".

When about 5000 of Rilhe's surviving troops got off the ship and laid siege to Novus City, the whole of Novus City panicked because they did not have too many soldiers now.

Moreover, Elos had recruited many soldiers from all over Portus Aureus Province, among them troops from Novus City which led to a decrease in the number of guards of Novus City.

When it saw the panic of the entire population in the city, it caused the soldiers of this Merchant Federation to become confident again, however their confidence was a little hit from facing the previously powerful Kurt.

Vice-captain Rilhe who became the main leader of this army because Rilhe was busy fighting Kurt immediately stepped forward, he stood in front of the Novus City gate full of confidence "Open the gate and surrender, you know, as long as you do that then we will not kill the residents in the city.
