CHAPTER 13: THE TRAP

"I am the head of his village" said the man with a smile, then he shouted to everyone around "Everyone, welcome the adventurers who will help us defeat the shadow wolves!".

The villagers stared at them, after which everyone surrounded Elos and Riona excitedly "Are you guys really going to clear the shadow wolf? Happily! We've been so worried for a few days, now all the problems are done!".

"Adventurer sir, thank you! I was always afraid that the shadow wolf would attack the village one day!".

"We must welcome these brave adventurers, prepare the best food in the village".

Elos did not even find any clues about the wolves around the forest, but Elos was not surprised at this strange incident because Elos had thought of a possibility of this problem.

"Master, do we have to start now?", asked Riona who already held her spear, Elos bought Riona the spear while in Hiam City to guard against the shadow wolf. After all the shadow wolves were not something that was easy to fight against, therefore they had to use their full strength to fight against the shadow wolves.

But Elos never thought before that Riona's new spear was used not to kill wolves first, but to kill humans.

Elos nodded "You can start, let the mice that are hiding to show themselves!".

"Spear of Light", the spear in Riona's hand was covered by light completely, then Riona slashed towards the surrounding trees.

The white light on Riona's spear flew towards the trees.
