The Indonesian arts and culture event which was held openly at the Hamburg Art Market for two days was completed. Unexpectedly, this event received a very good reception from Indonesians living in Germany as well as locals.
The event, which was held in cooperation between the minister of national education and the German embassy, was the first time. This activity is an art show that is planned to be done every year and involves many students from various regions, with the potential of art that they have.
Visitors who come specifically want to enjoy the art performances displayed, there are exhibitions of paintings, theater performances, traditional dance performances and exhibitions of books about the history of the archipelago.
As a complement to the event, visitors are also spoiled with Nusantara culinary offerings held by Indonesian students who are completing their education in Germany. Decak awe is always revealed from the mimic of every visitor for the appearance of the students who are members of the group of Indonesian art lovers and also the taste of Nusantara culinary that managed to spoil their tongue.
Not a few of them ordered some menus that were sold to their beloved families and went home with the work of students. They assess the efforts of Indonesian students in introducing their culture to the European market must get high appreciation.
At a young age they already have a brilliant mind to preserve the culture of the country.
"You're great, baby. Your painting was bought at a pretty high price. Mama is proud of you, your Grandfather's artistic talent is flowing so thickly in your body, "Decak is amazed Mama is unceasingly addressed to Shira because in two days of exhibition, all five paintings were sold. Purchased visitors of European nationality at a fairly high price.
"Yes, Ma. I was not sure if my painting would be appreciated by art lovers" said Shira who was no less happy.
"It feels like a dream. I feel I have a new energy to produce more work" he said enthusiastically.
"That's called a hobby, baby. You paint departs from your love of art so that what is scratched in the canvas is a form of sincere love. There the value is seen," continued Mama who is still developing a smile of pride.
"Thank you, Ma. All thanks to the support of mom and family,"
"We only give you the freedom to choose your own way of life by developing the potential that you already have. That way you will live everything with pleasure and the results will be proud. Mama sure is!"
"According to the book you read, my mother,
the working power of the human brain is always increasing exponentially for the present. One thing to know is the concept of neuroplasticity - the ability of the brain to reshape itself and form new neuronal connections as we absorb new information. One of the best ways to improve neuroplasticity is to think creatively and use a variety of better ways of thinking to do it, such as practicing an instrument, painting a picture, or learning a new dance move. For this reason, these forms of art need to be used and done to form our brains to be more active," obviously Mama while remembering the contents of the book about the development of the human brain and the imagination that he had read.
"So you understand, why in the past in our family the body of new artists and bureaucrats are reliable" said Mama again.
"Yes, Ma. Thank you for everything, "this time Shira headed towards her Mama even closer and hugged the woman who had been with her in Germany for two days. Not to forget one warm kiss also landed on the right and left cheeks of the mother.
"Now we are ready. There is still time to rest at the hotel. Duh, the weather is so hot. Bathing and lying down for a while can make you relax, nih,"
Shira and Mama were seen packing, as was the case with the rest of the group. Each of them took care of their personal items that they brought from the water stoic.
"Summer, Mah. Especially in Jakarta try? Mid-July is already part of the sun to spit out his anger. We can only surrender, there's nothing to do but accept the tantrums,"
"We are so greedy to skin the earth that it is difficult to find their pores in big cities like this. Especially in our beloved capital,"
"Your language is very puistic. Do you have any plans to write a collection of poems, huh?" ask Mama in a probing tone.
"No, really. I'm just getting used to using a more subtle-sounding housing language,"
"More...Everything's sorted out. It's in the suitcase. Come on!" Take Shira with a suitcase containing painting supplies in her hand.
The two of them immediately left the art market after saying hello with the other participants. For a while they can still indulge in the room before gathering again at 20:00 local time and continue the flight to Jakarta.
"Ma, don't we buy souvenirs for school. I didn't go to MPLS for two days. Doesn't it feel good to leave a duty?" shira asked as they walked to the taxi that would take her to the hotel.
"Mama also seems to think so dearly, but later it is misunderstood as a form of bribery. Our position is quite difficult, if not bring anything even spelled stingy,"
"Yes, anyway. God willing, it did not get that way. What the bribe says if we give there is an intention to get something, but this is not. We give because we want them to feel the joy of a journey we have done together," Shira tried to give an excuse to Mama.
"Well if you want it that way. Later Mama will send souvenirs of a number of teachers and employees at your school to the committee chairman. Those with more experience look for those things here. Let's just take a break,"
Such is Shira, although born and grew up in a respectable and prosperous family but she has a high concern for the people around her.
"Monday, Papa was the ceremonial builder at your school. Coincidentally, the protocol compiles the schedule. It has become a routine every year, if the first day of school papa children do a work visit at school and lead the ceremony at the place," Mama began to open the conversation when the taxi that carried them had gone at medium speed.
"Ih, how the hell is that? I hope no one calls papa's visit because there's a daughter at the school" Shira hopes a little anxious. The most disliked thing in his life if anything he does is often associated with the existence of parents. He wants to be himself, like any other teenager.
"That's for sure. Most people would think so. It's mundane. Let's just say it's been a part of your life, now your job is to prove to them that you're able to stand up because of the abilities you have,"
"The case is still related or not, consider it a bonus. Bonus because you are a child of higher-ups who can not be separated from the shots of people around you,"
Shira was only able to sigh. What Mama said is true, it is very difficult to escape from the shadows of parents.
When he achieved the highest academic achievement at his school, attributed his achievements to the position of his parents. When he successfully participated in the selection of student artwork that delivered to Germany, suspected of the intervention of his parents.
"Hmmm...." Shira took a deep breath while looking out at the glass. That afternoon the streets along the city of Hamburg began to be crowded with pedestrians.
