Hyuras

Hyuras
part 8's

Kyuhyun stood behind a glass window that was not covered by curtains, looking for the location of the bed where Da Eun was lying. By the time Hyura had gone home, the girl was seen sitting on one of the chairs directly facing her son.

Da Eun hasn't slept even after nine o'clock in the night, the little girl still looks cool with books and crayons lying on the small table in front of her. I don't know what caught his attention, but he scribbled the crayon carefully as if he wanted the image he produced to be very good.

“Why does the color of the leaves become brown like that?”

“Didn't the leaves in autumn be red and brown?”

Kyuhyun faintly heard the conversation of the two, he still stared with his gaze fixed on Da Eun who was still drawing.

“You like autumn?”

Da Eun nodded with a smile. “Eommaneun?”

“Eomma?” Lee Hyura muttered for a while before answering Da Eun's question. “Winter.”

“Wae?”

“Because someone dear eomma was born in winter.”

Da Eun's face suddenly turned bright. “Appa?”

Hyura shook her head. “Ani.”

“Nugu?”

Hyura had not answered Da Eun's question when a nurse came along carrying a small tray of medicine bottles that Da Eun had to swallow before going to bed. The look on the child's face instantly turned grim, throwing the crayon he was holding onto a little hard until it fell to the floor.

“Sirreo.”

“Da Eun-ah, what did eomma say about the streets after you recovered? You promised.”

“Sirreo.”

Hyura had no other choice, she cleaned the table on the bed so Da Eun could freely lie down. Both of his hands immediately grabbed the hand of Da Eun who refused to take the medicine.

It was then that Kyuhyun wanted to be there to help Hyura, or at least calm Da Eun who was crying refusing to swallow her medicine. There were about two tablespoons of medicine that Da Eun had to swallow with difficulty, her breath was like faltering because her crying did not stop.

“Completed.”

As Da Eun was about to vomit, Hyura immediately released the clutches of her hands to grab the glass lying on the nightstand.

Is Da Eun always like that when it's time to take the medicine?

Kyuhyun who was sitting at the end of his bed felt tight for whatever reason, the three-year-old who should have been enjoying his childhood was suffering on the hospital bed.

“Hyura-ya, what should I do?”

** second Chance **

This time Kyuhyun did not come empty handed, there was something he wanted to give to Da Eun that had already attracted a lot of attention. She had thought a lot, she decided to show herself to Da Eun.

Kyuhyun walked slowly towards Da Eun's room, before Kyuhyun had already searched for the child at the place he met her yesterday.

But, Kyuhyun had not had time to turn, he accidentally saw a small child sitting alone in the white sofa of the playroom. The boy looked down as if he was watching something.

As soon as the smile expanded, his heart pounded as his feet stepped toward the boy.

Da Eun still lowered her head, Kyuhyun decided to crouch down.

“Anyeong.” The pororo doll that Kyuhyun brought blocked Da Eun's view from her face. “Naneun, pororo-ya.”

No one ever asked him to speak after Danies oppa, only ahjumma nurse and nemo ahjussi. Because Da Eun felt she did not recognize Kyuhyun, she did not reply to anything Kyuhyun did.

Feeling that he did not get the response he expected, Kyuhyun kept the pororo doll away from his face. The first thing Kyuhyun saw was Da Eun who was looking at him seriously, as if what she was doing was the strangest thing the child had ever seen.

“Your name is Da Eun, right?” Kyuhyun started off clumsy.

But Da Eun nodded small, saying,
