What should Hyura do?
From where he stood he looked back to look at the tall building in front of him, the doubt and fear he felt was large enough to make his courage continue to shrink.
Should he come in? Or go back to the hospital to accompany Da Eun?
“Sorry miss, what are you doing?”
The question that a security guard was asking made Hyura slightly jump, she then lowered her head, staring at her alternately squeezed hands in nervousness.
“Can I meet Cho Kyuhyun?”
“Cho Sajangnim?”
The middle-aged male's eyes traced Hyura's usual appearance, trying to compare with the honor and degree that Cho Kyuhyun had. This woman must be a poor woman who wants to ask her superior for help.
“Then please come in, miss. Cho Sajangnim is above.”
Hyura nodded nervously. “Ya, alright.”
It would be a little uncomfortable indeed, but Hyura had no other choice. Only Kyuhyun is the only hope, his place depends for his daughter's safety.
Two women were waiting behind a glittering table in the lobby.
He looked left and right. Hyura nervously watched the security cameras that followed her every move. Now carefully, he approached the table. “I, um, I'm looking for Cho Kyuhyun.”
The woman who stood up, in her early twenties and in a prominent formal suit raised her eyebrows at Hyura. “Do you have an appointment?”
Actuallyno.
Hyura barely gathered the courage to come to this place. Twice this morning. He went back and forth and almost went home.
Okay so that part isn't exactly the same as the real thing. But Hyura was desperate. No. gabe. More than that. She's afraid.
The woman in the luxurious suit was staring at her computer. “I don't think you understand how busy Mr. Cho's schedule is, Mrs.”
Hyura was already stunned, but the phone on the woman's desk rang.
“Sorry for a minute.” He muttered as he grabbed the phone. Hyura nodded.
“Y-yes, sir. Now also.”
A sharp nervousness had entered the woman's voice. Hyura turned her head back to him as she hurriedly hung up the phone. Her warm black iris looked back at Hyura. Now there was a definite sense of curiosity in his gaze.
He pushed a clipboard towards Hyura. “Sign first, then I will take you to elevator.”
Hyura's view to the nearest security camera. Tension tightened her shoulders as the girl wrote her name on the page. Then Hyura rushed towards the elevator on the right.
“Not that elevator.” The woman grabbed Hyura's elbow and pointed her to the left. “This one.” He pulled the keycard out of his pocket. Swiping it on the elevator panel.
The door opened almost instantly, and he guided Hyura inside. “Go to the top floor. Mr. Cho is waiting for you.” But Cho Kyuhyun didn't even know that he came to this building.
“I don't understand_” Hyura hasn't even finished her speech when that door shifts shut. Both of his hands trembled as the elevator rose. The wall of the elevator was made of glass and he turned around. Look out and enjoy the view of the city.
The elevator slowed down, Hyura turned towards the door. He took a deep breath, then the door shifted open. His shoes stepped on the luxurious carpet as he stepped out of the elevator.
“Lee Hyura-ssi?” He turned his head to the black-haired beautiful woman who rushed towards him. The woman smiled. “Lewat here, please.”
Kyuhyun had seen it on the video camera, That was the only explanation. Kyuhyun had seen it and knew of its coming.
The woman opened the glittering mahogany door. “Miss Lee Hyura here, Sir.”Hyura stepped into the office and looked at it.
