Hope Like an Angel

Hope Like an Angel
The Unexpected Obstacle

After a brief explanation from Commander Kiara. I, Judah and Azriel were given one night of preparation.

Thankfully, I will soon be able to see what the South looks like.

It is fortunate that I went with Judah, just imagine that this mission only contained me, Azriel and Commander Kiara. Ugh, must be crisp. The commander was not as eager as Leo, or as good as Commander Yakza.

There is really nothing I should do or prepare for. After coming home from headquarters, watching a television show for a while, I immediately slept a good night.

...***...

The next day, at seven in the morning. Yuda and I were walking in the Elia District, in the middle of a luxurious building. The weather is still cold and cold. Sometimes we joke, laugh, and talk about headquarters. Also the experience of being a soldier for many years.

"God! Total 56 missions?! That's insane! Yuda, you're great!" I nodded, patting his shoulder.

"Thank you, Fal. How're you? How many missions have you been working on?"

"Hmm.. between 23, or 22, but not 56! I can't believe you're that universal! Teach me sometime how to be a good soldier, yeah!"

We both laughed in the middle of a quiet advanced place. I really miss the crowded atmosphere here.

That's where the center of the area is. Large circles were covered in giant boulders with a slight gap as the entrance was visible. I just go straight inside. Very large, can load one city here.

The teleportation device has been set up by the headquarters, just wait a few seconds for us to arrive at the special place. I will definitely meet Commander Kiara.

You could say, this is a trip to the South Region. Just hearing it my spirit is getting smoldering wanting to arrive soon. Hopefully not disappointing.

"You ready?" I asked Judah beside me. Replied a confident nod, a strong determination.

All right, let's go!

...

Eh?

A bright light should have appeared by now, and moved us to our destination.

"What's going on?" Yudah asked.

I shrugged, astonished at him in all directions. "Maybe the engine's broken?"

The tep! Someone set foot. Both of our heads stared at him.

ZRUNG! Immediately, I took out a sword of light after seeing it. "You know, I'm getting sick of seeing you suddenly come last just to make a fuss."

Of course, who else if not the person that Yuda hated right now. Azriel. Come casually, put both hands in your pants pocket. Hair was messy with a burn in his left eye.

"Puh, noisily." He walked, approaching us both.

I held onto Yuda's arm while taking her away. I'm not gonna let a fight happen here, before the mission starts.

SIIIIIII!!!

Finally, the teleportation machine activated, I closed my eyes tightly. Turns out we have to wait for Azriel first.

After a few seconds of loud noise, finally the bright light disappeared. The calm atmosphere suddenly felt crowded and noisy. I can hear the sound of water, eh, no, the sound... waves...?

"Ah, they've arrived."

"That's it?"

"Yup, the Jago from the North." There was a conversation from many people, I still closed my eyes. It seems they're talking about Azriel.

After I noticed, it was true. The three of us appeared by the beach, the light of day hitting wide. We were at the center of the attention of hundreds of uniformed troops, Southern Regional Forces, the guidance of Commander Kiara. They stared in amazement and delight.

The beach is not just a beach. If in the usual place there is sand, here it is replaced with iron. The entire surface here was replaced with iron.

There are no native plants, only rocks and a few ornamental trees. What the fuck is this place?

"Em. I'm Falisha. This is my friend Yuda-" I have not finished my sentence spoken, instead cut off the shocked voice of all the troops. The voice of the chatter came back, as if my name were legendary...

"Falisha's? Yudah? That Falisha Yuda?! Young warrior with dozens of missions?!" One enthusiastic person asked.

I'm nodding.

Holy hooch! After my nod, they were getting more and more talkative! We are that famous?! What's the matter?

"Seriously? Whoa! What honor!"

"Yes! You guys are great! This time the mission must be easy!" Some of the troops began to praise, the rest exclaimed in shock. Yuda and I looked at each other, just as confused.

"WHISPER!!! SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!!" ZRUNG! Azriel cried out loudly until the end of the beach, her hand taking out a sword of light, pointed at them.

The atmosphere became completely silent, no sound, leaving the sound of waves pacing back and forth. All the breathing creatures stared at Azriel.

"ALL THE TRASH! IT'S LOW! DON'T PRAISE THEM BOTH!" Words continued. Hearing that, Judah's hands began to clench.

"ME, AZRIEL. THE HERO OF THE NORTH IS ASKING YOU, THE SUBORDINATES OF THE SOUTH, TO STAY AWAY FROM FALISHA AND JUDAH! THEY WERE NOTHING MORE THAN USELESS EXISTENCES!"

THE TEP! Yuda was about to hit his brother's head, but was held perfectly.

"Look, he can't hit it right!"

"Shut up!" Yuda exclaimed bitterly, cutting off his brother's sentence.

My feelings are starting to get bad. It looks like it's going to happen again, the fight.

"You're challenging me again? Alright." Now, Azriel extended her sword towards her sister.

"Let's make this one more interesting. You and me, duel. Watched by the entire team of the southern regions and ***** that." He said arrogantly, his tone was truly underestimating.

Judah beside me chimed in. The two swords of light were stretched out against each other.

"Please, stop. Yuda, all you want is peace with your brother, right? Is this the way to go? Duelling continuously? Please, patience. Fighting again and again and again won't make it real..." I tried to calm him down, saying as softly and gently as possible.

I was waiting for Yuda's answer. His face seemed to be thinking, he lowered his head.

...

THE BAS!!!

"FALISHAS!" Yuda's cry filled my ears. Azriel slashed at my back.

"Talk a lot to you. I challenge Juda to a fight! Not a weak woman like you!" Speak with high.

The distress and anxiety of the southern troops began to be heard. My body is held by the body of Judah.

"You all right?! Holy hooch! Holy hooch! Falisha please hold on!" His breathing sounded heavy, he was worried about me.

I tried to stay alive, breathing as hard as I could. It hurts so much. My back is badly hurt because of Azriel...

"WHY DID YOU ATTACK HIM?! SCARED? HUH UH? WHY?!" My body was slowly laid down. He stood back up, challenging his brother.

It's so hard. I feel like fainting... Azriel unhesitatingly attacked my back, ouch.. damn it...! Before the mission began why did it become like this...?

THE DAS! THE DAS! THE BAS! There was the sound of the sword attacking. My body is not clear, I endure pain by making positions as palatable as possible, but nothing works.I cannot see the fight of Judah and Azriel.

There's nothing I can do. My eyes are starting to blur. The troops looked at the two of them anxiously but enjoyed it a little...

Where is he? Commander Kiara?

KRAK...!
