His conversation with Devi this afternoon continued to ring in Atika's head, several times he had to try to focus on the discussion of the meeting before him but as hard as it was also a fragment of Devi's sentence continued to attack his mind.
"I'm sure you're the right person for Mr. Faiz, of the many women who have been in a relationship with him to be able to move on from his old love. Just like you he managed to do it without any intention of 'escape' like the time with the women before you" Atika looked closely at Devi's serious face and digested every word that darted smoothly from the woman's lips.
"But I don't feel that makes sense. Time yes in just a few days the same I he can move on, and me? I also recently broke up from a relationship that I had for four years. It's not logical that I could take him."
"Thou shalt not seek justification in reason, never meet." Devi smiled before continuing.
"Find the justification here" the shoulder-haired woman pointed to her chest with a smile.
"You if you use reason, will not find it, there must be no match. So, especially for your problems horrified your heart, because the heart will never be wrong let alone lie."
Until the meeting ended at 15:25, Atika still continued to think about Devi's words in the canteen. Luckily during the walking meeting he was sitting in the second row from behind, the edge near the window so from the front did not invite the attention of the speaker.
"Atika!" He looked back as he walked up the stairs and heard his name called.
"Why Dev?" Devi approached her with a small notebook in her hand.
"More. Daritadi I see you are not so focused on the discussion of the meeting, surely some important points you do not record right?" Devi glanced while thrusting out a yellow notebook.
"Your eyes are very observant, but they sit far from my chair." Devi chuckled at Atika and replied.
"Yaudah nih, you can pinjem first abis copied and then returned to me, where tau arrived at the store COS (Cief of Store) you asked the notes discussion meeting." Atika receives a book from Devi's hand while smiling and thanking Devi.
"Don't forget all my input. You have to be honest with your own heart." After saying that, Devi passed while waving to Atika.
Atika looked at Devi who headed towards the motorcycle parking lot and drove her motorcycle, out of the office area through the security guard post.
"Would you find a place to daydream?" The baritone voice resuscitated him from his blank gaze that stared at Devi's delirium.
"You? Since when is it there?"
"Just now, I found you in the meeting room but it's empty. When I came out, you were daydreaming here." Faiz smiled looking at Atika.
"You're going home, right? I'm taking ya?" Faiz and Atika even squinted their eyes.
"Why?"
"You want to be an actor?" Faiz memgernyit did not understand hearing Atika's question.
"Don't try to not understand. I know everything." Atika sneered and walked away from Faiz who still did not understand the direction of Atika's conversation.
"About what?"
Atika stopped and turned to look into Faiz's eyes while looking deeply, 'Do I have to accept him? But maybe he didn't want me to be like Ian yesterday?'
"Hey! How bengong?" Faiz flicked his finger in front of Atika's face making Atika blink and look at several directions and realized there were many pairs of eyes watching them from here.
"We're connecting in the car." Atika then walked towards the car park area and Faiz walked faster to be able to compensate.
"So, what do you mean, you know what all that is?" Now they were sitting in the car seat and Faiz started the engine.
"You and Devi are just acting to make me jealous." Atika said it half-diffusely making Faiz glance at him then smiled knot.
"Oh. So it's been shaken?"
"That's all?"
"Why should I be jealous?"
"The color you hang me." Faiz's car had just left the office yard and passed through the security guard post, but suddenly pulled over and he turned to look at Atika who was still bending her face.
"Kok quit?" Tanya Atika was surprised to realize their car stopped on the side of the road not far from the security guard post.
"Are you really jealous?" The corner of Faiz's lips lifted saw a red tinge on Atika's cheeks that quickly turned away.
"No."
The silence between them lasted a few minutes until Atika finally cleared her throat to relieve the feeling of being stuck in her throat.
"Well, I'll accept you, won't we hurt each other?" Faiz, who had turned his gaze toward the road in front, then turned to the left where Atika was sitting looking at him.
"We both know the pain of being disappointed, left out, we both know what it's like to be hurt so I think we can take care of each other." Their eyes met, Faiz smiled and continued.
"Maybe for you it's too soon, but it's what I feel. Don't know since when I started to love you, I want to be the reason you smile, the reason you can forget the br*ngs*k that."
A drop of clear hair escaped from Atika's eye patch that made Faiz rub the girl's white cheeks.
"Why cry?" Atika felt her blood flow warm up as the big hand touched her cheek. He shook his head at Faiz's question, and he didn't know why his tears could suddenly burst out to hear Faiz say he loved himself.
"I don't mean you, if you're not sure I'm ready to wait.." Fazi's words hang because Atika quickly cuts him off.
"I want to." Atika took a breath and exhaled slowly.
"I want to try to live with you, I can't keep lying if I'm not interested at all. And yes, I'm jealous of you squirming with Devi yesterday. That might be enough to prove that there's a side in my heart that expects you."
For a while their eyes just stared at each other, until Faiz decided first and took his black backpack that was in the back, then reached into the front of the backpack. He took out a blue navy velvet box and opened it.
Atika's eyes rounded to see the silver necklace with double hearts knitting each other into a pendulum of the beautiful necklace.
Faiz took the necklace out of the velvet box with a smile.
"This necklace has been holding me for weeks. That night, when I wait for you to finish shift, I have a plan to carefully invite you to walk and find a place with an atmosphere that supports to make this love to you. But you're hindarin me." Faiz smiled wryly, and was overwhelmed by Atika's guilt.
"Now what can I do, I put this on your neck?" Faiz asked carefully and Atika nodded in embarrassment.
Faiz's hands stretched out behind Atika's neck that was not so level, his fingertips touching Atika's neck skin caused a sting in their skin and made something that had been sleeping inside Faiz felt awake again.
Once plugged in, Faiz retracted his hand and muttered.
"Pretty."
Blushes
Atika blushed to hear it and felt her cheeks heat up, making Faiz have to resist pinching her blushing cheeks and kissing her smiling lips.
