Atika POVs
Training on my first day yesterday went well, I have summarized everything in a small light blue notebook.
Today is my second day, I feel more excited than the first day yesterday. Wh why? Because today Ian returned from Bali after completing his work there for a week. Last night he called, his plane will take off at 2pm so he can pick me up at 5pm later, ah it feels good to see him again.
Today's training runs smoothly like yesterday, starting at 8 am, lunch break at 12 to 1 pm and then the training material continues until 5 pm.
I glanced at the clock on my wrist, at 5:05 pm I started waiting for Ian to pick me up at the front of the office. I checked whatsapp messages on my phone, no messages from Ian.
15 Minutes I sat waiting but there was no sign of Ian, I checked my phone again no call or message from him.
I tried typing a message into him and then deleting it back. Huff may have a little work to do. I quit my whatsapp app then switched to gaming, trying to distract myself by playing games. Tired of playing games I turned to social media, checking the homepage update until I glanced at the clock on my phone at 6:10 PM. I opened my whatsapp app then started typing messages for Ian.
You busy? I've come home ✓✓ daritadi. You didn't forget to pick me up, did you?
Second check, which means he got the message. I waited for a reply from him and turned my attention back to the street in front of me.
10 mins. 15minutes... There was no response from my message. I switched to the call button board and made a call to Ian's number, several times ringing but no answer. I try to think positively, maybe there is an important meeting that he has to attend, okay I have to be patient in a few minutes.
I glanced back at my watch, less 5 minutes at 7 p.m. I tried calling Ian again and it's still the same as before there was no answer. I started to get impatient and kept calling her number, until the 12th call I gave up. I was just about to put my phone in the bag but it suddenly rang, I answered quickly without seeing the name of the caller
"Hello, where are you?"
"Atika? It was supposed to be the mother" I took the phone away from my ear and saw the name of the caller and breathed heavily
"Ah yes, sorry ma'am I think temen I'm the phone"
"Where are you? It's almost 8 and a half, aren't you home yet?"
"Eh this ma'am, I'm having dinner with my friends so her home is a little late. But this is coming home" I explained by biting my lower lip for lying to my mother
"What are you going home for?"
"I'm riding an angkot ma'am"
"Jude, you go home carefully. Assalamualaikum"
"Yes ma'am, waalaikumsalam" I ended the call and put my phone in my tote bag and took a ride to the public transport majoring in my house.

A week passed after Ian's incident for the first time did not keep his promise. And for a week there has been no response from my messages and phone calls. I was still trying to think positively, she couldn't possibly ignore me let alone leave me in this way but I was also always correcting myself, did I make a mistake until he didn't respond to my contacts?
Today was my first day working in the store after a week of training at the headquarters, although my mind was a little chaotic because of Ian who had no news, I still tried to control myself and be professional towards my work. And I'm grateful that I was placed in a store that was located close to home, and almost all of the shop crew knew me because I regularly shop at this store.
My days passed, a week. 2 weeks. These up to 2 months felt empty without any news from Ian. After 4 years of contact with him only this time he disappeared, in the past when we fought we never lost contact like this. My phone call history is almost all just Ian's name.
Today is my day off, just like the weeks before a day full of my cell phone never left my grasp except when I went to the bathroom. This time I again tried to contact her, repeatedly, again and again her results remained the same ending with the voice of the operator.
Tok
My bedroom door was knocked from the outside, ahh most father, mother or Alana
"Come in, it's not locked!" The door handle rotated from the outside and a black-haired woman appeared from behind the door
"Woi, the henchmen are really stuck in the room"
"For my mager. It's my day off, so yah mending the fall in the room"
"Males"
"Ih kok so the gini rebahan sih skarang. No thanks ah"
"Mager ahh's. I want to rest Miftah, tomorrow I have to go to work again"
"Because of Ian?"
"Why Ian?"
"It's been 2months this ain't playing here no more, is it? Wh why? Lo broke up?" My eyes that had been closed suddenly opened and looked at Miftah who was also looking at me
"Sok tau lo. Break up from where, our people are fine" I cut off eye contact first and closed my eyes again
"Trus why didn't Ian ever nyamperin you home again?"
"Yeah. He's busy times"
"Tik, don't lie about your relationship problems with Ian. From the beginning you want to have any problems with him I will help as much as I can. So now mending you're honest"
"Gue ain't lying. I didn't break up with him, just lost contact"
"What is the lost contact?"
"When he came back from Bali, he never responded to my messages let alone answer a phone from me"
"Reason?"
"Either" I opened my eyes again looking at the ceiling of my room while remembering what I did wrong until Ian missed me like this
"So at avoiding lo without any reason ? You guys didn't fight before?"
"So. Even the day he would come home from Bali he still had time to call me, the day of my second training day at the headquarters and he promised to pick me up when I came home"
"He's coming?"
"No. Lo know? I waited for him from 5pm to almost 8pm but he didn't come either. Boro-boro come, pick up the phone or reply to the messages wa I did not"
"That's nasty. Fix we have to samperin him, we ask him to explain why I did it to Elo. Come on!" Miftah got up and pulled my hand to get up as well
"Lo sure we should samperin him?" I ask a little doubt
"Trus? You want to be put down at home without wanting to find out what is the reason he ignored lo kayak gini?" I was silent thinking for a moment, what Miftah said was true, it had been two months Ian avoided me without me knowing what the reason was, maybe I should meet him directly and ask for an explanation from him
"Judah I'll meet him"
"Judah come on" Miftah began to stand impatiently
"No! I go alone. You have a motorbike, right?"
"Lo's sure?" I nodded confidently and asked for the key of Miftah's motor, received my key to the closet and took the white cardigan and put it on.
I went down the stairs and said goodbye to the mother in the kitchen and then went out of the house wearing a helmet, to the white matic motorbike parked in front of the house and drove it to Ian's house.
