Episode 52: Family Is Not An Important Thing, It's Everything (5)

"This is Abiyan..." Aiman's father was silent for a moment, sighed and then continued his conversation.

"I don't know Mr. Galih very well, but I know his wife Pak Galih's family."

"A few years ago I was once involved in a pretty weird problem with your aunt's family."

Aiman's father stopped his words for a moment. He recalled the events of many years ago but the pain he had felt was still often remembered.

"If you and Bella are indeed a match, I hope that whatever has happened between Me and Mr. Galih's family will not affect your life in the future."

"I also hope that Bella and her parents don't get any more trouble or interference from your aunt's family."

"You must think I'm overreacting, worrying about things that don't necessarily happen."

"I can understand if you think so."

"But to me nothing is too much if it comes to the happiness of Bella and her mother."

Abiyan has no idea what the Bella family is all about, but one thing Abiyan knows, whatever the case may be, is that she won't let it affect her relationship with Bella.

"I can understand the feelings of the Father, as a father, you want to make sure that Bella will be okay."

"In Shaa Allah Sir, I will always try to keep Bella from anything that might hurt her including if it comes from My family."

"I'm holding your word and if you ever neglect to look after Bella, I'll do anything to take her away."

"Okay sir, I understand."

"Oh yeah Abiyan, you can call me Dad like Bella called me, it feels like you're talking to someone else if you're too formal that way."

"Yes, sir.eh Dad, thank you," Abiyan was happy, it was like a recognition of her status as Bella's future husband from her father Bella, well even though there was no engagement or anything.

Abiyan felt that she was already considered a child by Aiman's father, no longer as an outsider.

Their conversation then continued with a more relaxed atmosphere. An hour later, Abiyan returned home.

Their conversation revolved around Aiman's father's concerns about the possibility of dealing back with Ratna and her family.

Mother Alya who also has the same concerns was trying to convince her ex-husband not to worry too much about what is not necessarily the case.

Whatever happens will happen and always be sure that God is the best regulator of life and the life of His people and God is the best protector.

Hearing the words of Mother Alya, Aiman's father felt calmer.

Mother Alya also suggested that they focus more on their lives at this time.

The next day Aiman's father returned to Jakarta, returning to the daily routine of working at one of the big companies there.

The relationship between Aiman's father and Mother Alya is getting better. Communication through cell phones is intertwined every day.

Sometimes just ask the news, have eaten or not or other light talk.

Not infrequently they are also involved with serious talks that can take more than an hour.

Every Friday night Aiman's father goes to the town where Bella and her mother live. He chose to stay at a hotel that was not too far from Bella's house.

Aiman's father returned to Jakarta on Sunday afternoon. Almost every week he does this. Unless there is an event from the company that requires him to attend, then he was absent from visiting Bella and Mother Alya.

It was exhausting, of course but it was not worth the happiness he felt.

He again feels the sense of having a "house", where he returns to unwind, let go of longing and the house is Bella and her mother.

A few months later Aiman's father again asked Mother Alya to rebuild the household back with him.

And without a doubt, Mother Alya also received the good intentions of Aiman's father.

After meeting the extended family both from Aiman's father and Mother Alya's party to tell their referral plan and ask for blessing then all preparations began to be done.

There are no obstacles on the part of the family, all give their blessing and hope they get back together soon.

The family gives advice that the two are always open to each other if there is a problem. What happened before will never happen again.

The happiest one here is of course Bella. He felt his days were more pleasant.

What he hoped would soon be realized.

Having a whole family, living in the same house, every day can meet. I can't wait for Bella to wait that day.

The only obstacle that had been blocked was the problem of staying in the city where they were.

Aiman's father, who lives and works in Jakarta, could not just move to work considering his career at the company was well established.

While Mother Alya, can not move to follow Aiman's father because in this city he has a fairly developed business.

After the two talked about this, they finally agreed not to dispute about where to stay.

Aiman's father continues to work in Jakarta while trying to find an opportunity to get a job in the city where Bella lives.

He will come home once a week or Mother Alya and Bella who will go to Jakarta if his business can be handled by his employees.
