Hearing the complaints from Atha, Fahmi immediately sat down in front of Atha. Then he patted Atha on the shoulder while smiling.

“Really I have been sent (by Allah SWT) as a teacher.” (CHR. Ibn Majah).
"Akhy, Pahala glorifying the teacher is heaven. The Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ is said as quoted in Lubab al-Hadits by Imam Jalaluddin al-Suyuthi,

Heaven is a place as vast as heaven and earth. Heaven it “Prepared for pious people.” (QS. Ali Imran/3: 133).
In another verse it is mentioned that heaven, “Provided for those who believe in Allah and His apostles.” (QS. al-Hadid/57:21).
Then be fortunate for those who glorify the teacher because they will have heaven.
This hadith emphasizes the difference in position between the knowledgeable and the uninformed. Rhetorically Allah SWT asked, “Say, “Are the same people who know with those who do not know?” Verily it is the wise who can receive lessons.” (QS. al-Zumar/39: 9).
In history Ali bin Abi Talib is known as a person who highly glorifies teachers. This is like the words perpetuated by Sheikh al-Zarnuji in the book al-Ta’lim al-Muta’allim.
Ali ibn Abi Talib said, “I became a servant to the one who taught me one letter of knowledge. It's up to the guy who taught me. He wants to sell me, free me, or keep me as his legal servant.”
On another occasion Ali ibn Abi Talib said, “Whoever teaches me one letter, then for him a thousand dinars.”
How Ali ibn Abi Talib glorified his teacher, in accordance with the words of the Prophet ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ “Barangsipa who taught a verse from the Book of Allah to a person, then that person became a servant to him.” (CHR. Thabrani).
The servant referred to in this context is not a slave or a slave, but one who must serve wholeheartedly to the teacher.
For Shaykh al-Zarnuji, among the acts of respect for the teacher is not to pass before him, not to occupy his place, not to begin speaking except with his permission, not to say much next to him, he said, and a disciple should not knock at the door of his house. Shaykh al-Zarnuji also advised not to ask questions that have been asked.
It is told by Shaykh al-Zarnuji that Caliph Harun al-Rashid handed over his son to Imam al-Ashma’i to study religious sciences and noble morals. One day when he visited his son, the Caliph saw Imam al-Ashma’i was ablution and washed his own feet while pouring the water was the son of the Caliph himself.
Witnessing this, the Caliph rebuked Imam al-Ashma’i, saying to him, “I give up my son to you so that you may teach and educate him. Why didn't you order my son to pour water one hand and the other hand wash your feet?” This is how Caliph Harun al-Rashid glorified his son's teacher.
As great as we are today, we must have been indebted to our teachers. The way to glorify a teacher is to pray for him. Allah's Apostle ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ ⁇ Who gives you good, then reply. If you are unable to reply to him, pray for him until you are sure you have truly replied to him.” (CHR. Abu Dawood).
Hearing the explanation from Fahmi, finally Atha, was determined to dive back in reaching religious knowledge. "Akhy Fahmi Syukron. Bismillah Ana will live this teacher with a sincere heart, may Allah bless Ana," said Atha, seen again eager to consider the knowledge in the boarding school. And now he is also studying science.
"Alhamdulillah, The spirit of Akhy Hafiz" said Fahmi, as he smiled gently at Atha.
