HANGING MARRIAGE

DARMA DECISION.

A month has passed. A month too Haniah could not sleep due to strange noises coming from Atha's room every night. And he had not seen Atha for a month. Because he purposely avoided it. So he had to be willing to go to campus early in the morning, so they did not meet each other. And in the evening he would lock himself up in his room.

At first Atha did not care about it, but he was a little happy. Because he does not have to argue with Jennifer who is always suspicious if he crosses paths with Haniah. Until finally Darma came to his room, while he was working. Atha looks shocked, when suddenly Darma enters without knocking on the door first.

"Fuck!" his jolt as he looked at Darma was already in front of him.

"Why are you surprised like that?" ask Darma while twitching his forehead.

"There's nothing, Dad, just shocked, because Papa didn't knock on the door"

"Does Papa have to knock on the door in his own office hm?" darma asked with a flat, stare at Atha.

Well, ever since Atha came home from abroad with his second wife. Since then Darma, always ketus, and cold on Atha. He looked so disappointed in his child that whatever Atha did meant nothing to Darma. Unless he was with Haniah, and he had not seen Haniah for a long time. Making Darma and Rizka start to miss the presence of her daughter-in-law.

"What's free? Remember Atha, this office was not officially yours, before you had a child from Haniah! So keep that!" cut off Darma, making Atha shocked to hear the father's words.

"What Pah?! I should have a son from Haniah? Why does it have to be so anyway? What if I don't have a child with her?" ask Atah who looks unhappy with his father's decision.

"Then this office will belong to Haniah!" firmly Darma. Which seems not to want to be denied anymore.

"Huh! Papah's selfish! Then what if I have Jennifer's child doesn't that mean anything to Papa?" ask Atha again.

"No! You remind me that Papa never admitted your marriage to her! Because in Papa's eyes your wife is Haniah! So if you want this office, then give Papa the grandson of Haniah. You Understand?!" darma again. Make Atha's face look more upset, let alone remember the name Haniah.

"Papa's decision is round! So no more objections. If you don't like it, then you can leave here, and take your wife away from our lives!" darma again. Make Atha can not dwell anymore, because it is certain he will be a badass if he leaves just like that. As a result, he just quietly resigned not to argue with his father again.

Seeing that Atha was silent, not refuting anymore, Darma smiled thinly triumphantly.

"Why Silence? Papa won't hold you back if you want to go. But remember when you leave, there is no return door for you! So think about it! Just so you know, Papa actually does not want to accept you anymore. But for the sake of Haniah Papa had to accept you, so if you divorced from Haniah, then you know the consequences?"

Again Darma mentions Haniah. Make Atha who heard it even more hate with the owner of the name. But he had to hide his hatred in front of his father. Because it is certain that he will be further removed by Darma.

"Why are you still silent? Answer Papa! What are your options, go or stay here?" darma's question sounded loud.

"Stay here Pah!" answer Atha pasrah.

"Good! Now go pick Haniah up from the campus," said Darma still with a firm tone.

"What!"
