HANDSOME MASTER (Late In Love)

HANDSOME MASTER (Late In Love)
Dinner Banquet

Seconds by seconds it was tense for me, I was curious and scared, and a little nervous, it was common for these nano-nano feelings to appear storming not knowing the rules.

Ting! bell rings.

"Open bi's door, maybe this is our special guest coming." Mother's orders to bi Ijah.

Me, mom and dad have tidied up, arranged the dining room as comfortable as possible, bi Ijah has arranged all kinds of dishes at the table, from processed seafood, vegetables, chicken, and so on, meat and much more. I was confused to choose which one I would eat first, because this stomach had been screaming asking to be immediately filled.

"Good night Mr. Arga, Mr. Joe," said the smiling father as he reached out.

"Good night uncle, Auntie." The man called Mr. Arga spoke flatly, without smiling in the slightest, only welcoming the outstretched hand of father.

"Well, thank you for welcoming us with a special arrival like this uncle" said someone behind Mr. Arga as he widened his smile to look all over his teeth.

"Wait a minute, I know you." Immediately I was surprised to see these two men.

"Eh Miss, you don't" said this man hanging.

"It's fun, you guys already know each other apparently, Ah. please sit down first, we enjoy the food that has been served and talk about everything after this." Mother chimed in with a flowery smile.

We were all sitting sweetly without making any sound, only the sound of spoons and plates colliding.

I was hungry, eating a plate full to the invisible edge of the plate, we rarely had a special dinner like this, to the point that there were countless food menus.

"You look so happy, son, you're eating a lot tonight." Mom watched me from then on.

"Eh ... uh .. no, Mom, Sabrina just loves this dish, it's delicious, next time cook again a menu like this, Mom."

"Sure, I'll make it for you if you like." Mom smiled stroking my hair.

"This is all aunt's cooking?" ask the man you call Mr. Joe.

"Yes, sir, I cooked it with the help of our housekeeper" the mother replied, looking down.

"Well, it's delicious, if only the chef at the boss' house could cook this delicious dish, I would be at home eating there."

"I can cook it for master, even Sabrina will learn to cook from tomorrow." Mother said as she held my thighs under the table.

"yes, son?" continued mother.

I just nodded in agreement, while Mr. Arga was just silent, busy chewing his mouth food, either it was so good, or because he was starving, he did not care about our chatter, just silence made us even more nervous.

After all, I helped my mother and bi Ijah clean up the leftovers and dirty dishes, brought them back to the kitchen, while the father and the two men moved to sit on the living room sofa.

After everything was clean, my mother and I gathered in the living room, talking about my wedding plans. Really, I was afraid to see that man called Mr. Arga, but I covered my fear well, so that my father and mother would not be sad.

"Joe, explain everything, I only answer if it's necessary." Mr. Arga's voice rattled through the corner of the room, making me and my mother clasping each other's hands.

Mr. Joe took out a brown map containing several sheets of white paper with a lot of writing in it.

"Uncle, this is a rule that must be obeyed, from what can and cannot be done as long as the lady becomes the boss' wife," she said, handing over three pieces of paper to her father.

"Why should there be such a rule, sir? is this not curbing my daughter?" dad asked curiously.

"Of course to keep the boss and the lady's relationship going well without any mistakes, everything is arranged here." Mr. Joe explained.

"Miss, you must not make mistakes, everything must go as the boss wishes." Mr. Joe said as he looked at me full of threats.

"Read everything, learn it well, you have to memorize it out of your head, after that sign here, Miss." Shows the empty place that has been affixed with the name of my light written below.

Is this guy not sane?

How could she marry me like recruiting employees, handing over all sorts of rules that were truly beyond the normal human level, was she the noble king who could just as casually do, was she an emperor, she was, is it just crazy men?

"Do you understand miss?" mr. Joe surprised me.

"Three more days I'm going to get back to this file, miss, you have to sign it if you agree, otherwise the boss won't help your father's company" continued Mr. Joe with a grin, but his tone was threatening.

"Can I keep working in my shop?" I ventured to ask this.

"Joe will take care of everything miss, he will make new rules about the job, the round-trip hours and the day you can work." Mr. Arga answered flatly without any expression on his face.

The man looked at me sharply, watching me from head to toe. Mother who heard all this just resigned and silent, I don't know what was on her mind, but mother's face really looks sad, sad, her eyes were already filled with tears that would soon flood her soft cheeks.

...

The return of the two men made me relieved, my chest felt wrapped around a large mine rope, now it feels plong. We were still sitting in the guest room three, thinking about it all.

"Saa, are you sure you want to go on with this, son?" mother asked quietly while wiping her tears.

"Do'll Sabrina get through all this, ma'am, Saa's fine." I immediately hugged the mother, a woman whose feelings were filled with worry about her daughter's fate.

"Dad didn't force son, make your choice, think carefully, I don't want to put you in the tiger's cage" he said hoarsely, his voice trembling.

"Dad, Sabrina is fine, take it easy, Sabrina is a tough kid." I smiled broadly, strengthening my father and mother who were beginning to hesitate. Although inside this chest rumbled a feeling of overwhelming fear, but I had to look strong for their sake.

"Well, son, think carefully about your decision, I will accept whatever it is."

"From tomorrow, Saa has three days off from work, to learn to cook with mom, while waiting for Mr. Joe to take back his files" he continued.

I confirmed my father's words, then said goodbye to the room, brought the files containing the rules that I must learn from tonight, already can not stand the feeling of stemming the tears that filled my net, he said, to the point that my eyes feel blurred.
