Half A Heart's

Half A Heart's
Chapter 19's

"I can choose. I will not like you who are happy with my friend." - Shila

Evan must obey Papa's step to get out of the hospital. Evan walked with emotions that were still being held back. As the plastic bread that Mother had left for Shila was still in her hands tightly, Papa was so pulling her firmly to get into the car.

In the silent car, the girl sat beside Evan quietly doing nothing. Evan rolled his gaze outside the car glass to see the hustle and bustle of the city. Papa took her to their real home.

Arriving home, Papa orders everyone to sit on the guest sofa. Evan, his mother and son obey Papa's orders. This family problem must be discussed, until when Papa did not succeed in uniting his small family.

"Well, Evano Calley listen to my explanation well." Tukas Papa then opened the glasses that he was wearing.

"I'm sorry if I didn't get to tell you that a few months ago I was engaged to Arisha and married."

"Do you think I'm that easy to forget about Mama? Do you think I'm ready to be left behind by Mama? Do you think I can live alone without a legal life partner?"

The woman sitting next to Papa shed her tears.

"None of us wants Mama gone so soon, so does Arisha's late husband leave their little family."

"We both need my son. Marriage is the only way that we can continue this life that has not ended," explained Papa Panjang make the atmosphere at home so haru,

Evan hunchback.

"I'm sorry Evan, if I slip in your little family" Arisha said hoarsely.

Evan silenced to hear Papa's explanation that flicked his heart, Mama's departure for years and crying Mama every day will also not make Mama can live again. The more time goes by, there must be some point in the story that changes, must be in the story of a character who suddenly left. Whether it's a small thing or something that affects the next story. Our duty as servants of God can only carry out the story He made, it is wrong if Evan who is growing up today still can not accept his life line.

"Then what are the problems that make you hate me?"

Evan fixed his sitting position, it seems the right time to express all the mistakes in his establishment.

"From childhood, Evan did not ask Papa to have a company that big, working that much to make money. Evan didn't ask."

"Maybe in Papa's mind having a lot of money can make Evan happy. Though the happy location is not only about Pa's money," Evan conveyed his heart, indirectly Evan complained that Papa paid less attention to him. He is always busy with the work of the world without paying attention to Evan who has grown this big.

"But, Evan can't stay with Papa yet. There are a lot of valuable things that Evan already has there. And Evan needs time to take it all in."

Later that night Shila can return home and run her routine as usual again. A wide smile formed on Shila's face while helping Mother clean up her things that will be brought home. It's a bran new day!

"Bun, Shila tried to go to the rooftop?" Mother nodded her assent, letting her daughter do whatever she wanted. Shila walked from one corridor to another, greeting everyone who passed by, no one was happier than a healed pain.

When Shila arrived at the rooftop, her heart did not stop shaking at the power of God who made the sky this beautiful. He was always obsessed with orange and yellow. These five days all he saw was the white walls of the hospital.

Shila was stunned, this was not the first time she had seen twilight but the first time for her to see this detailed twilight. Shila usually can only see in the afternoon from her home. It was also covered by trees and terraced neighboring houses. But now, his eyes and twilight were like meeting face to face without a single drop in the way.

He closed his eyes, praying in his heart that he would always be fine. Pray that he will no longer feel bad about taste. There has been a lot of precious time that he gave to Adit, but approximately two more years he will go to college and start new things.

His story at High School will remain a memory. It's time for Shila to stop pursuing the one she'll never succeed in having. It was time for him to finalize his next plans, let alone his ideals.

Go Adit, the reader of this story is tired of seeing your role as a filler of conflict and complicate the story. Go then!

"Silk."

"Well, why are you here?"

"Gue wants to apologize about the camp"

"Thank you for fainting at the gor."

"Shila, how come you're mad like this anyway? What's wrong with me?"

Shila could not hold back her emotions, she was really angry why the child could still meet her at times like these.

"Udahlah. We're just business, you meet me if there's any business."

"Shila, why the hell? I'm confused why you suddenly feel this way."

"No, I ask a lot."

"So you value all this time we're close because it's that limited? You don't remember the hundreds of students from MOS Lo who I first greeted." Obviously Adit who also participated in the emotion of seeing Shila. Shila grew increasingly weeping, hearing Adit's tone slightly elevated as if to snap at her.

"Udah enough! No need to talk anymore! Don't see me anymore!"

"Gue's tired Dit, I'm tired."

Shila cries to make Adit more confused, what really happened to Shila.

"Gue was tired all this time pretending there was nothing in front of you. I was tired all this time his feelings that did not directly grow without me wanting. I'm tired of making you happy but the label on both of us is just a friend."

"Once I can choose, I will not choose to like you who are already happy with my own friends."

"But no problem, I'm sincere and I want this to end."

"Gue won't expect my feelings to return."

"From now on, don't consider me a friend. The office is soon finished." Obviously Shila was hoarse at the end of her sentence.

The reddish-orange sky had turned gray which was getting blacker for longer. The cumolonimbus clouds came as if the universe would not allow them to continue their conversation.

Adit froze, not a word coming from his mouth.

"Please go, think of us as new people who have never told a story before."

Adit fell silent, his eyes reddened. It might be uncomfortable to hear Shila's words just now.

Without speaking anything, Adit leaves Shila from the rooftop accompanied by rain that begins to wet his body.

Shila smiled, and now she knew the answer.

This weekend Shila and Fira make a pact to spend time together to celebrate Shila's recovery. It is unclear what the route will be like, their journey starts from surrounding Sukaramai plaza to find clothes and then around the place they want. Shila uses a plain jumpsuit in black with long-sleeved shirts in a small-pink eskirm pattern, very feminine.

"Whatever we are, the bookstore remains one of its routes." Shila said when she had met Fira on the lips of the plaza.

"You know what other books you haven't got."

"Btw Shil, I want to find the book One Direction whose title is emm-"

"Just one more book that I don't have yet," complained Fira as she shook Shila's shoulder. They both like the boyband One Direction, the difference is his favorite personnel Shila Niall Horan, while Fira Zayn Malik. Although Zayn Malik has quit the band that has the crazy fandom, Fira still says 'Not One Direction without Zayn'.

"Gue also wants to buy Lou's album, a huge favorite. Especially the Walls," Shila shouted in excitement.

"Lo know, the title of the song is Miss You?" shila Assault.

Fira rolled her eyes thinking.

"Who gini, is it my imagination, is is something that im taking? You right?"

"I know, I know, I know for sure" Fira replied while singing One Direction's song titled 'Steal My Girl."

"Everybody wanna steal my girl, everybody wanna take heart away!," they both sing in unison.

"AHA."

That's how if Fira and Shila are both, the crazy is unlimited.

After watching the cinema and buying the clothes they were looking for, they both decided to pray at the mosque mall and have lunch afterwards. If the stomach is rumbling like this, there is actually nothing that can replace the delicious rice Padang than AW though, but in the mall there will be no stalls selling rice paddocks.

"Shil, your phone's dead?" fira asked suddenly with a slightly surprised face. Shila who heard that instantly turned on her phone.

Seen there were dozens of notifications from Zerin, his eyes fixed with one sentence-

"Shila, I broke up with Adit just now."

And other messages.

"Shilaaa, where are you? I want to see you now."
