In the midst of the silence of the night, a woman with a beautiful look and a sharp nose adds to her beauty. Long hijab protruding dancing in the wind of the night. Time has shown early morning. However, the woman was still awake standing on the balcony of her room.
''Ghibran, how are you? Have you been healed? I pray to Allah that you will be healed quickly. May God hear all my do'a-do'i. There is Azizah who will take care of you there. I'm sure he'll take good care of you." The woman smilingly looked at the stars in the beautiful sky.
''Azizah, I'm sorry. Sorry, because I have to get out of your life. I'm so weak, I really can't see you two together. Maybe I'll sin because I'm still thinking about and loving a man who's been a man's husband." The woman exhaled slowly while closing her two neutrals for a moment, then reopened them again.
"But what can I do? The more you try to forget that feeling is even more real. God, am I wrong to love? If it is wrong, why do you still leave that feeling in this heart until now, why?" he dropped his body on the floor, weakly bowed. The warm thread has already run its river.
Having to give up someone you love for your best friend is much more painful. What should the woman be? His heart is also injured right now? But, it was impossible if he had to take what already belonged to someone else. He loves but cannot have. But, until when did he have to be tormented with that feeling? I don't know.
* * *
Ghibran is ready and neat by wearing long-sleeved shirts in old gray. The young man was sitting on the porch of his house waiting for Azizah who was still putting herself in the room. Yes, the plan is today they will look for Aisyah. The ghibran kept asking Azizah to quickly search for the woman's whereabouts.
"For a long time, you woman, and a very long time," grumbled Ghibran as he looked at the clock in his hand.
"Look, I'm ready."
Azizah was standing before him. How surprised the young man was. Ghibran fell silent, fixated on Azizah's appearance that morning. The syar'i style with a long veil up to the waist adds to the beauty of the woman.
Ghibran just kept silent and looked at Azizah's appearance without blinking a single bit.
Azizah was confused, slightly frowning looking at herself from top to bottom. Is there something wrong with how it looks today? Maybe that's what he thinks.
"Ghibran, hello." Azizah waved her hand in front of Ghibran's face. However, still the young man was still absorbed in looking at him. "Ghibran, hey, did you hear me?" Azizah clapped quite loudly in front of the young man. Surprised, Ghibran finally woke up.
"Ha, ii—iya, why?" ghibran asked, turning his eyes away.
"Why are you? Why did I see me like that, just now?" The woman slightly advanced her chin while raising her palm to the side.
"Ah, no."
"Hmm."
"Just go, let's go. It's noon" Ghibran walked to his car. Azizah followed behind the young man.
Azizah walked down slightly suddenly, the young man stopped his steps when Azizah hit the body of Ghibran from behind until she accidentally wrapped her hands on the Ghibran's waist.
"Oh," ringis Azizah. "You're nothing, it stopped suddenly like that."The woman looked forward and was shocked. He hugged Ghibran from behind.
Azizah just gawked at him and so did Ghibran. Ghibran turned to Azizah, the woman turned to the young man. They were silent for a moment looking at each other.
"Sorry." Azizah immediately turned her eyes and let go of her embrace.
"I apologize for stopping suddenly" Ghibran said.
Perhaps, if the young man was not losing his memory would definitely be angry or tease Azizah but this was not. Everything felt different for Azizah. The woman missed Ghibran's annoying attitude.
"Just be it, come on."
They continued to move back to the car and got into the car and drove away. On the way, there was no torch between the two of them. Just shut up and focus on each other. Azizah looked out the window, looking at the scenery outside. Something caught his attention, two hijab-wearing women who were sitting at a bus stop were joking. The woman remembered her best friend who now had nowhere to go.
''Aisha, if all this did not happen for sure at this time we can still joke like them. I miss you so much, my friend. I shouldn't have accepted the match if I ended up hurting my best friend. But I promise you, Shah. Soon, you will get your love back. I promise.''
Azizah continued to monologue inwardly staring outwards. Although there was pain in his heart when he said the promise. But he cannot be selfish. Isn't it just Aisha that Ghibran loves, then what else is her presence for? Slowly, the woman took a slow breath.
"Zah," call Ghibran to break the woman's daydream.
"Yes" Azizah replied pretending to be ordinary, but she was a little surprised.
"Now, where are we going to find Ayesha?" ghibran asked, focusing on driving without looking at Azizah.
"I've been looking at her house, but said her neighbor, Aisyah and her family have moved abroad, " explained Azizah.
Hearing the statement from Azizah made Ghibran very surprised and suddenly, immediately stopped his car suddenly. Suddenly, Azizah was very surprised.
"Astagfirullahaladziim," said Azizah slowly feeling shocked. The young man fell silent holding a demon and turned to Azizah for a moment.
"Did you say that? Overseas?" asked Ghibran to look at Azizah fixedly, Azizah nodded slowly.
"Yes, but I'm sure Ayesha is still in the country. I'm pretty sure Ayesha didn't go abroad."
"Why are you so sure?"
"Because, I know her very well and I know very well that Aisyah never wanted to go abroad following her ashes. Moreover, a few weeks ago before you had an accident, I was like seeing Aisyah at a gas station when I ran out of the toilet" Azizah told Ghibran at length. The woman knew very well if the young man looked very disappointed even hit by hearing Aisyah was no longer in Indonesia.
"So, you mean Ayesha didn't really go abroad?" asked Ghibran looking at Azizah. "really?" ghibran touched Azizah's hand.
The woman was stunned to get such treatment, Azizah just silently continued to look towards her hand that was grasped by the Ghibran.
''Oh my God, what is this? Quiet Azizah calm down, Ghibran does not love you. He's just being happy don't baper Nurazizah Asyifatunnazwa.''
"Is it true that Azizah is?" again, Ghibran asked to be sure. Azizah simply nodded and immediately pulled her hand from the grasp of the Ghibran as well as the young man.
"I'm sorry, I'm too happy" Ghibran said, feeling a little uneasy and embarrassed. Azizah just smiled knot. "So where are we going now?" ghibran asked.
"We try again to Aisyah's house, it's possible that Aisha is there."
"All right," said Ghibran, smiling enthusiastically and turning on the engine.
By taking 15 minutes they both arrived at a magnificent two-story house and a fountain in front of the house. A towering fence with its end like an arrow.
"Is that really his house?" ask Ghibran.
"Yes, it's Ayesha's house."
"We pray with Allah, come on" Azizah asked directly to open the car door.
However, the woman forgot not to release the seatbelt on her body until Azizah was a little troubled and turned back to open the seatbelt. However, it turns out that there is already a Ghibran hand there helping to release the seatbelt on his body. Azizah looked only at the Ghibran who was releasing the seatbelt. After detaching, the woman hurriedly turned her gaze looking towards the front.
"Thank you" Azizah said, turning to Ghibran, the young man smiled.
"Tomorrow" Ghibran asked.
"Yes." Yeah."
Azizah and Ghibran got out of the car and stepped towards the house. Azizah pressed a bell but there was no sign of anyone opening the fence. Time and time again, the woman pressed the bell and no one came out of the house. Meanwhile, a woman was watching Ghibran and Azizah upstairs in the room.
"Azizah, Ghibran, why are they here? What was? Do they know I'm here? Nope, no. They can't know I'm in this house. I'm sorry Zah, Ghibran, I can't see you now." The woman immediately closed the curtains in the window of her room.
Azizah and Ghibran are still waiting below hoping someone will open the fence. Ghibran looks resigned and limp.
"Alright, Azizah. Perhaps, Aisyah is not in this house," said Ghibran had resigned.
"No Ghibran, I'm sure Ayesha must be inside. He deliberately avoided us, I'm sure Ayesha must be in this house."
"No Azizah, let's go." Ghibran stepped out to his car.
"Is that all your love for Ayesha?" Azizah's words made the young man stop his steps and immediately turn to Azizah.
"You mean?" ghibran asked, looking intently at Azizah.
"Yes, is that just your patience? Don't you want to wait any longer? Don't you love Aisha? Wait a minute," Azizah asked.
"Wait what, who am I waiting for? Aisha was not in the house. Come on, we better go." The ghibran turned around and stepped towards the car directly into the car.
Azizah was still standing by the fence. The woman was very sure, if Aisyah was inside the house. Finally, Azizah also entered the car following Ghibran. The young man remained silent, not taking a word out of his mouth. Azizah looked on pity at Ghibran, looking at his face a sense of disappointment. As he was leaving, Azizah looked outside and saw someone inside the house.
''Aisha, what is Ayesha? Yes, it is Ayesha. I'm sure, it's Aisyah.''
"Ghibran, look at that Ayesha." Azizah shook the body of the Ghibran who was driving. Instantly, Ghibran stopped the car and turned to Azizah.
"Where? Where's Aisyah?" asked Ghibran very enthusiastically with a sparkling face.
"There, inside that house." Azizah pointed towards the inside of the house.
"Where, where's Aisyah? I don't see anyone there." Ghibran was disappointed not to see Ayesha.
"Ta—but, I was right to see Aisyah there. Really, I'm not lying" said Azizah who was surprised to see no one else in the house, when clearly the woman saw someone in there.
"Already Azizah, do not make me continue to hope. Aisha is gone and will not return." The ghibran re-started the engine.
"But Ghi ...."
"Enough Azizah!" ghibran snapped cutting Azizah's speech. Azizah looked surprised and was instantly silent. "Already Azizah, already. Enough's enough! Don't talk anymore" the young man continued, looking at Azizah. His eyes look glazed maybe because they resist disappointment, then back to driving.
Azizah could only be silent at the words of the Ghibran. The woman turned to Ghibran who was focusing on driving. Azizah knew very well, if the young man must be currently disappointed. Azizah stared at Ghibran.
''I know, you must be so disappointed right now Ghibran that you are so angry. I'm sorry Ghibran, for not being able to bring him up with you. But, I promise I will soon find Aisyah for you.''
The woman was just monologuing herself in her heart as she looked at the Ghibran who was focusing on driving and kept looking ahead, not even looking at her. It hurts, it hurts so much. That was how he felt at this time until tears did not feel falling down his cheeks. Hurriedly, the woman wiped her tears and looked outwards.
Along the way, they kept quiet no one started a conversation. Neither Azizah nor Ghibran until suddenly, the car they were riding had to stop because the red light had turned on. Azizah who was busy looking outside was a little surprised. The woman looked back at Ghibran. But the young man remained silent.
''Ghibran just kept quiet from before. So angry, is he at me? Aisyah, why are you doing all this? Why do you seem to be avoiding me, your friend. Is that how much you hate me? I know, I was wrong. I've taken your happiness away from you, I'm sorry, Aisyah. But, I promise I will definitely return it to you, Shah. I promise.''
Azizah spoke in her heart as she looked at the Ghibran who did not turn her head until she realized that the car was running again. Again, warm circles just flowed from his eyes. The woman turned her eyes out again. At first glance, Ghibran turned to Azizah without the woman knowing.
''Why do I feel sad to see Azizah sad? As if I also felt what he was feeling, why? I was disappointed that I couldn't find Aisyah. But, why am I also sad to see Azizah crying. Did my words hurt him?''
The young man continued to mutter in his heart, still while driving. Azizah was still looking out the car window. They finally got home. No one said, the two kept quiet. When Azizah was about to open the car door, Ghibran immediately touched the woman's arm. Azizah turned to Ghibran. They looked at each other for a moment.
"Let me, let me" said Ghibran, then out of the car.
Azizah Just shut up. Ghibran opened the car door for Azizah, the woman immediately went out of the car.
Ghibran went into the house without saying anything more to Azizah. The woman stood silently looking at the departure of Ghibran.
"Well, where did you guys end up. How come you just got home?" asked Aminah who had just come out from the inside, Azizah immediately realized from her daydream.
"We're out of friendship with friends while still in college, Mi. Because it's fun to talk even so forget the time and the road was jammed, Mi." The woman smiled. Forced to lie to her mother-in-law, it is impossible to tell the truth to her mother-in-law.
"Oh, so. But, why is that your husband? How, it looks upset again." Aminah asked again because she saw the strange attitude of the Ghibran.
"Oh, maybe because of the traffic jam earlier Mi. Yasudah, Azizah come in first." Aminah nodded and Azizah left Aminah. There is a curiosity in the mind of the woman in her 40s who saw the strange attitude of the child who did not usually behave like that earlier.
