The next morning, Drystan drove Xylona to school. Upon entering the gate, Xylona sees Erfrain wiping Enzo's shoes with his tie. Seeing something wrong, Xylona ran up to them.

　

　

Enzo, Kris, Lolita, Viani, and Myessa turned to him.

　

　

"What are you guys doing?" Ask Xylona.

　

　

"I accidentally stepped on the chicken manure and I told Rain to clean it up" Enzo replied without feeling guilty.

　

　

"Why don't you clean it yourself? That's your shoes" Xylona protested.

　

　

"Rain is a washer in our class" Enzo replied.

　

　

Friends laughing.

　

　

Xylona looked at Erfrain. He pulled the man's arm. "Why are you quiet?"

　

　

Erfrain glanced for a moment at Xylona who looked furious.

　

　

"You're nothing, you new kid!" Enzo pushed Xylona. The girl retreated.

　

　

"I will report this incident to the Headmaster."

　

　

In the headmaster's room, Xylona looked annoyed and waited for the principal's reply after she told him everything.

　

　

The Headmaster sighed. He asked Erfrain, "Erfrain, did that really happen? You've been told by Enzo to wipe the dirt off his shoes?"

　

　

Enzo and his friends glanced sharply at Erfrain. It frightened Erfrain so much that he shook his head. Xylona was surprised, as she had not expected Erfrain to lie.

　

　

"I saw it for myself, sir. He threatened them," argued Xylona.

　

　

"She's making things up" Erfrain said with a fixed look at Xylona.

　

　

Xylona rolled her eyes. "What did you say?"

　

　

After a little argument, they were finally allowed to return to class. Upon arriving at the door, the Headmaster called out to Xylona.

　

　

"Xilona."

　

　

The girl's steps stopped. He looked at the principal.

　

　

"You better not interfere, Enzo's father is one of the businessmen who donated 48% of his money to build this school."

　

　

Xylona smiled. "Thank you for the advice, sir."

　

　

After saying so, Xylona left with an annoyed expression. "How could it be like that?"

　

　

As Xylona exited the headmaster's room, Myessa pulled Xylona's arm.

　

　

"You want to cause trouble here? Because you Enzo almost got in trouble!" Myessa Jerks.

　

　

"She did make trouble, she forced Rain to clean her shoes that were exposed to dirt" Xylona grumbled.

　

　

Kris denied, "Rain doesn't mind. He wants to do it. She doesn't feel bullied either, you heard her, did she?"

　

　

Xylona did not respond. He chose to leave them.

　

　

　

　

"Why?" Enzo asked with a gaze fixed on Xylona's back that was getting away and disappeared at the turn of the corridor.

　

　

"His brother's a cop. I saw it" replied Kris.

　

　

Enzo smile. "She's beautiful and can join us, but it's a pity she doesn't seem interested."

　

　

Lolita looked at Enzo with an annoyed look after hearing the man's words.

　

　

Without them noticing, Erfrain leaned against the wall with both hands put into his pants pocket. He heard everything. A faint smile was engraved on his lips. He changed his expression to stupid and walked towards his class.

　

　

In class, Xylona sat down while reading a book. Erfrain walked in and sat down beside the girl.

　

　

"Hey," said Erfrain, but Xylona did not respond. He remains focused on his book.

　

　

"Xylona?" Call Erfrain.

　

　

Finally the girl collapsed and turned to Erfrain. "Why don't you tell me the truth?"

　

　

Erfrain replied, "I'm sorry Rain. If Rain were to tell the truth, worse things would happen."

　

　

Xylona.

　

　

"Sometimes we need to lie to save everyone, forgive Rain," Erfrain said.

　

　

"You mean you lied to save them?" Xylona asked in an annoyed tone.

　

　

"If Rain was telling the truth to the principal, it wasn't just Rain who was in trouble, Xylo too."

　

　

Xylona digested Erfrain's words. "I'm not afraid."

　

　

"Xylona, at this school not only Rain is the victim, many other students are bullied."

　

　

For Xylona, Erfrain's reasoning was absurd. But, he chose to give up and not argue with her anymore.

　

　

"Xylo is from the City, Xylo won't understand." Erfrain.

　

　

Xylona looked at the sweet man. She smiles. "How can a man who covers you be treated like that by them."

　

　

Hearing Xylona's praise, Erfrain's two cheeks flushed red. He turned his back on Xylona.

　

　

"Don't say that, Xylo put Rain to shame." Erfrain plays his index finger.

　

　

Xylona chuckled small. "If you feel ostracized, I'll be with you. There will be no more excommunicating you from now on."

　

　

Erfrain was silent for a moment. Her expression turned serious, but a moment later she changed her expression and turned to Xylona with a sweet smile.

　

　

Xylona smiled as well.
