2.4 How to write a satisfying story?

The content point is the plot that can make the reader feel happy and satisfied. They will unconsciously be carried away by emotions while reading and satisfy desires that they cannot get in real life.

But the point, not only for the word “puas”, but the plot should also make sense.

For example, which is often used in novels; increasing satisfaction with fighting criminals. If the female side character only complains a little about the main character (women), but previously there were no contradictions, then the main character becomes very angry and fights with side figures, this does not make sense. The main character could already be considered mentally ill. But if these two figures have accumulated a lot of contradictions, then the last mockery makes the main character angry, this only makes sense.

Against villains in a satisfying story, it is necessary to note first how the main character withholds anger. Because, after fighting back, the main character should be proud. For example, if the main character used to lose his job because of a side character, break up with a girlfriend, in the end only given the word “maaf”, then a plot like this can not be satisfied, then the plot like this is not satisfied, it makes the reader feel sadder. In addition, the benefits gained from fighting must also be appropriate. Few people are willing to fight big with others for the sake of a small bit of profit, this is also the rationality of the plot.

Fighting can be divided into many kinds: life changes, revenge, and others.

These contented points are perfectly in keeping with the psychology of the reader, helping the reader achieve/get a feeling that they cannot get from reality.
