📌Abtain the Right Target Reader
1. MARK GENRES
Make sure what kind of genre your work is. There are many writers who think that his work has mixed genres, for example romantic and fantasy or fantasy and mystery. But actually, a work must have genre tendencies alias there is one genre that is more dominant. Which is more dominant, that's the type of genre of your work. The non-dominant ones are not categorized as genres but just seasonings.
Why is it important to mark a genre?
to get your work to the right target readers. Many readers (especially new readers) open the app without any clue about what novel to read. They search for works based only on genre/category.
Imagine, if your romantic story goes into a fantasy channel (because you choose the fantasy genre) where the ones who enter this channel hope to read stories like Harry Potter, then they find your work that is not suitable. The outcome? Just read the title already abandoned.

📌Make Readers Faithful To the End
Readers stopping in the middle of the road is a common thing. There are three main factors:
1. Your story is not interesting.
2. Language confused.
3. You old update.
â‘ Story is not interesting
In the past class, we have discussed many popular themes and made a dense and non-verbal plot, including casting a shadow of the conflict in the early chapters to the reader.
The problem is, if the average writer chooses a uniform theme, such as CEO or forced marriage, then how to make your novel unique?
**Â Â a. Make a unique character.**
Classic: Evil actor. >>> Unique: The actor is good, the actor is also human.
Classic: Bad ex-girlfriend, still disturbs people's relationships. >>> Unique: Good ex, can be legit, help us understand our girlfriend.
Classic: A 100% evil antagonist of the devil (not human). >>> Unique: Antagonists are also human, there are good and bad sides.
Classic: The protagonist is always kind-hearted, single characterization. >>> Unique: Protagonist concurrent antagonist. Antagonist is the protagonist. Mixed characters are like classic Robin Hood stories.
**Â Â b. The double story teller.**
Classics: The author as a first person or third person single. >>> Unique: Author as first, second and third person at once.

② Language confusing
Good grammar is one of the success determinants of your work. If it is not perfect, it is okay. The important thing is to make sure the reader does not have difficulty understanding your story.
Therefore, do not get used to abbreviating words. Not everyone understands the meaning of the abbreviation bbrp, LMAO and so on.
Get used to also using capital letters at the beginning of the sentence.
Get used to using proper punctuation to distinguish direct sentences (dialogs) from indirect sentences.
BUTTANAN: Most abstinence to make the reader have to read twice to understand the meaning of my sentence.
------
It's a real occurrence. I used to love reading novels online. There are some novels that became my favorite and went into the bookshelf. Unfortunately, only half of writers are diligent about updating. Some are lazy. As a reader who knows myself for reading for free, I do not protest.
But, instead of waiting a long time, yes I look for other works. Because engrossed with other works whose update schedule is dense, I even forgot the work of the Former Favorite Author. A month later, there is an incoming notification that the work of the Ex has the latest update. But, how dong, I am still busy following other favorite works and are no longer interested in the work of this Ex.
Finally, I removed the work of the Ex from my favorite list. The notification that I was waiting for, now feels disturbing.
So, how good is the update once a day?
If you can update at least one chapter a day, that's great. If not, once every 2-3 days is the right schedule. The longer the duration of the update schedule, the longer the chapter you present to the reader. Create and announce a fixed update schedule. For example: Update every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, after 20 WIB.

📌Make Readers Feel Appreciated
1. Reply to comment:
This activity can take time. You do not need to reply to all comments that come in. Choose some interesting comments and you need to answer them directly. For the rest, you simply reply in general with one comment under the comments that come in:
Thank you readers for comments, criticisms, suggestions, including anger. All of this will be a boost for me.
Get used to replying to comments in each chapter.
------
2. Making comments angler discussion:
Authors are also advised to make comments angler discussion so that readers are more comfortable.
For example: How, the more upset the same A? He did that, in fact his intentions were good but the way was wrong. What do you think A should be in the next chapter?
------
3. Create a special chapter to dedicate to the most loyal readers\, most actively contribute to the improvement of your work\, most often giving brilliant ideas for your story.
Rarely, even almost nonexistent, authors make special chapter bonuses for their loyal readers. Think about this from now on.
The existence of this particular chapter, in addition to helping you extend the story, also makes your readers happy. in fact, it is not impossible, all readers will compete to show loyalty and contribution to you.
DO NOT FORGET, write the names (names) of loyal readers for whom you dedicate a special chapter.
For example:
THE EXTRA CHAPTER
(For my brilliant and loyal readers: A, B, C)
------
4. Maximize group chat author:
Use a chat author group to share your activities. There is nothing wrong with imitating those who actively share their thoughts and activities. That's the key to their success in reaching millions of fans. The key word is connection. In addition to the work, group chat author is the right way to always connect with your readers. Make them loyal to you.
Sometimes, you can also ask loyal readers to participate in promoting your work.
