GROANS OF DESTINY

S2 CHAPTER 7

The view from the blue sky was so amazing, surrounded by white clouds from behind the glass of the plane so happy Riani's heart. It has been Riani's dream since childhood to be able to get on a plane, although it has often been but still Riani likes to fly by plane. Even this woman had hoped to become a bird.

Riani looked at the sleeping Albern and directly leaned her head against Albern's shoulders. Riani closed her eyes slowly before Albern moved and wrapped her hands around Riani's waist. Although it has been over a year of their marriage, but still until now sometimes Riani still keep her distance from Albern and often shocked when Albern touched her.

"Why?" wonder Albern.

Riani smiled and shook her head.

I really want to know why you accepted my proposal and want to be my wife Riani... Is there a man you love? and that guy wasn't me? or was my guess right all along that you had feelings for your sister-in-law? Have you been thinking of me as just an escape? Albern thought as he continued to stare at Riani with his faint eyes and a disappointed radiance that was clearly visible in Albern's eyes.

Riani who had reflexively raised her head back from Albern's shoulders and turned her face towards the outside of the Window, felt Albern's gaze from earlier.

"What's wrong?" ask Riani.

Albern smiled at Riani as Riani did in response to Albern's question "there's something I want to talk to you about, but not right now." explained Albern.

"When?" ask Riani to make sure.

"After coming to our house" replied Albern embraced by Riani.

Is there anything important that Albern wants to talk to me about? hmm.. later I will also know Riani thought while closing her eyes and hose some of Riani's head back to lean on Albern's shoulders, but this time Riani did it accidentally, because he had fallen asleep and entered into the world of his own dreams.

Albern gently stroked Riani's head and closed his eyes again.

The plane landed smoothly at one of the airports in France, Riani and Albern got off the plane and after checking out they immediately called a taxi and returned home to the Apartment.

"So what do you want to talk about, baby?" asked Riani who was at the end of her curiosity.

Albern shakes "not now"

There was a sullen expression on Riani's face, making Albern laugh at his own expression on his wife's face.

After cleaning all their belongings, Albern threw his body on the mattress while staring at the ceiling of his room. Riani glanced at Albern who seemed to have many thoughts.

"What is the task on campus so exhausting?" tanya Riani opened the chat after arriving at their apartment and cleaned up the luggage.

Albern shook his head "you're exhausting" murmured Albern.

Riani's forehead folded when she heard Albern's words earlier, tilting her head as much as 60 degrees "hmm me? why?" wonder Riani.

"Are you uncomfortable with me?" frankly Albern.

"meaning?" astonished Riani while walking and sitting beside Albern.

"For more than a year after our marriage, I felt absolutely no love from you for me" Albern said, still lying down and closing his eyes with his left arm.

Albern did not want to know how to react from Riani after hearing his words earlier. While Riani was stunned to look at Albern who was still silent from his position.

Riani put away Albern's arm covering her eyes, while clasping Albern's hand tightly, Riani changed her sitting position and hugged Albern.

Albern gasped in shock at Riani's actions and hugged Riani in return.

"We are already bound in a relationship that is owned by Allah SWT, I have become your legal wife, if I do not love you. Then why do I accept your invitation to live together? If I recall the time I first met you, it was a day - not, but it's a short history I'll never forget from my life, the day that we were brought together in such a great bonded relationship, you were my guidance counselor, who smiled at me in a room that you arranged so coldly that the cold temperature crept through my bones, the day I hated you so much for your first treatment when I met you, the day I wished that you weren't my teacher, the day I was sick of seeing someone's smile the most, you know? I hate you, even in the deadlines of less than 20 minutes at dawn, you tell me to go to college, how can I not hate you for all your treatment of me? and not even that once SIR ALBERN!" obviously Riani while taking off her embrace from Albern.

Albern smiled at Riani's words, Albern got up from his supine position and sat down while holding Riani's hand "i'm grateful to do that to me Riani"

"Can you stop that sir's call? now I am your husband" Albern said, drawing his face closer to Riani's.

Riani got up from her seat and picked up her phone which rang.

Albern clucked when there was an incoming call from Riani's phone, interrupting their alone time.

"Hello manquer Pamela" Riani said from behind the phone to the pamela manquer who called her.

"Hello Riani. sorry to disturb you these nights, I just want to remind you that tomorrow you do not need to come to the Firm"

"Why Manquer?"

"I gave you 2 days off, I know you haven't had a full break after the Dutch-Jakarta flight, so spend some time alone with your complaining husband"

"Hmm. okay Manquer, thank you"

"Why don't you sleep tonight? am I interrupting your sleep?"

Albern frowned at Riani's "what death attack?"

"No. no hahaha" Riani laughed as she rushed to the bathroom.

It didn't take long for Riani to return to the room and stretch out the prayer mat, Albern sighed tiredly she was actually dodging me thought Albern as she walked to the bathroom.

Albern ascertained whether Riani was still asleep or not by checking Riani's heart beat, if normal then Riani was asleep, but if irregular then Riani was pretending to sleep.

Albern brought his ears closer to Riani's chest, and hearing the normal sound of Riani's heart beating that Riani was indeed asleep, Albern again sighed tiredly while staring at the old bolts that Riani hugged.

Albern lowered his lips in a smile and took off the slow roll from Riani's embrace, instead Albern brought his body closer to become Riani's bolster pad while wrapping his hands around Riani's waist.

Riani opened her eyes slowly and felt tightness, now in front of Riani's eyes was seen a smiling Albern staring at his beloved wife had woken up.

"Dear to love" said Albern while gently stroking Riani's head.

Riani smilingly looked at Albern "morning" as she got out of bed.

But before Riani's foot stepped on the floor of her room, Albern pulled Riani's hand "can I continue my question last night dear? I've been patiently waiting for answers and explanations from you" said Albern who immediately made Riani sculpt.

"Can you later?" riani pinta.

"I won't wait until later, because I don't want to guess again your reason for dodging, so can you give me an explanation now? o my beloved wife" said Albern.

Riani gulped down her saliva looking at Albern's expression that seemed to have been covered in curiosity and anger that he was trying to harbor.

Riani sighed and went back to inhaling the surrounding air deeply "alright, first let me wash my face for a while" said Riani, who was taken by Albern, Riani rushed immediately to the bathroom leaving Albern who was still silent in the room.

Riani looked at her face from behind the glass in the bathroom, Riani let out a long sigh "should I tell you that?" muttered Riani while watering her face with water.

Riani stepped slowly into the room, Riani's steps stopped when she was in front of the room door, Riani hesitated to touch the doorknob of her room, but she had promised to explain to Albern, Riani glanced at the clock behind her "some time I have to work" muttered Riani, as Riani regained her senses that Pamela's manquer gave her leave for 2 days.

Riani immediately rushed into the living room and quickly typed in a phone number.

"Hello Riani, what's wrong?" ask for voices behind the phone.

"Lookie! can you book 2 pairs of air tickets to puy du fou now?!"

"Eh.. Can you, why?" wonder Chloe.

"Please!" riani said as she put the phone back.

Chloe who is currently in her apartment and is about to go to the Firm was surprised to hear Riani's words, Chloe again sat at her room table while opening her laptop to book a plane ticket for Riani.

After getting the ticket, Chloe sent the proof of the online ticket to Riani's e-mail.

Riani walked quickly back to her room.

"Is that in the bathroom?" asked Albern who looked tired of waiting for Riani back earlier.

Riani smiled at Albern's head "let's get ready, I want to spend some time alone with my husband, and certainly there I will explain everything" Riani said, but soon changed her clothes.

Albern who seemed confused just obeyed the words of his wife to get ready after hearing Riani said she wanted to spend time with her husband, Albern.

They took a taxi to the airport and after checking in Riani and Albern flew to one of the best tourist attractions in France.

Riani stared long and amazed at the campsite, while Albern was stunned to look at the vacation spot of Riani's choice.

"You're serious here?!" startled Albern was taken in with a smile by Riani.

Albern sighed "i haven't asked for leave on campus" said Albern who mengangetkan Riani.

"Cock?"

"Where do I know you're going to take camp this time, tomorrow I have to start teaching again, so... were you given permission by Pamela?" ask Albern.

Riani nodded with a look of disappointment, Riani looked at her watch "so...we are only 5 hours here?" tanya Riani was taken by Albern.

Riani again sighed tiredly, for a long time she had not felt the world of the camp, but inevitably, Riani also had to think about Albern's work.

"Well..but before that I want to build a tent there, can you help, baby?" pinta Riani with a sweet expression that she appeared.

Albern smiled and nodded at his wife's actions.

They borrowed some equipment to build a small tent in the vast field, after Riani finished pouring the hot coffee she had brought into the glass for Albern.

"You really are intent" Albern said as he sipped his coffee.

Riani smiled as she looked at the ceiling of the campground.

"The world is one word with a broad, all-encompassing definition of a temporary sojourn for all living things on earth, like a heart that is temporarily anchored to the wrong person" riani said that made Albern stop sipping his coffee.
