The arrival of Glorva that arrived made everything in the room look at each other.
"Mother? Daddy?" Ask Glorva again.
"Sorry Glorva, now is the time for us to tell you" Tenden in a low voice, Meden could only sit down bowed.
"Maybe you already know about your magic, you have the light element right?" Tenden continued which made Glorva turn away in shock.
"How did you know?" Asked Glorva who was shocked.
Tenden smiled wryly, "It turns out to be true, you chose not to tell us, but, we already knew about it before you even realized that you had light magic" Tenden told reporters.
"W-how can it be?" Stuttering Glorva.
"That's because your mother had light magic, she died not because of war, but because she had to revive the Royal heir who was killed on the battlefield" Meden explained by clenching his hands tightly. "I'm sorry to hide this fact" he said again.
Glorva is shocked to hear the reality spoken by Tenden and Meden, in the novel it is written that Wivon, the heir to the throne once survived death when he was a child, but unexpectedly it turns out that his mother is currently the one who sacrificed his life for the crown prince.
Glorva lowered his head, trying to hide his angry and sad expression. "If you intend to hide this fact, why did you expose it to me today?" Ask Glorva.
"That's because" Meden could not continue her words, and she looked at her husband.
"You're being hunted to replace your mother as a royal sorcerer, but we think it's just their pretext to hunt down light magic users. Maybe the royal members already realized that you inherited light magic from your mother, that's why they're looking for you" Tenden explained.
"Then from that, you have to get out of here Glorva, you can't get caught" he said in a trembling tone.
"I'll go with him, Dad!" Mevin just opened his voice.
Glorva who was beginning to understand his state let out a heavy sigh. "Well, I'm gonna go on a road trip so they don't find me anywhere, but what if they go after you and arrest you for trying to hide me?" Glorva asked, her face filled with worry looking at her parents fixed.
Meden smiled gently, "You don't have to worry about us, you just need to focus on saving yourself" Meden explained.
Glorva clenched his hands, "So you told me to focus on my safety alone and ignore your safety? Even though you're being threatened for trying to protect me, how can I be that selfish?" Glorva.
Meden approached Glorva and held both shoulders. "A grown-up should have protected a child, even more so that the child is as special as you" he smiled softly, then rubbed Glorva's head gently.
"But-" As Glorva was about to reply, his voice was cut off by Tenden.
"No need to worry, your mother's acquaintance who is a former sorcerer will pick you up, you wander with her, we can handle everything here, so be prepared tonight" Tenden said, then approached Mevin who had been silent to hold back his grief
"I'm sorry, but you can't go with Mevin, it'll just get in their way" Tenden said, trying to get Mevin to understand, instead answering, Mevin left everything in the room, without taking a word.
Glorva looked at Mevin's departure, "Means I have to go tomorrow huh?" Sad ask.
Meden nodded, then tightly hugged her daughter's small body. "I'm sorry for us" he said.
Glorva returned his mother's embrace, "I'm sorry, too, thank you for trying to protect me" said another sobbing.
Finally that night Glorvia rushed to prepare the goods that he would take away, not all of them, only some important ones that he would bring.
"Although this is not a photo, but only the time I have something like this with my family" He explained, then he put the painting in his bag.
When he finished, he opened the window of his room, then stared at the darkness of the night which was only illuminated by the crescent moonlight and thousands of stars.
"I don't know if the decision to leave here is right or not, but there's still Mevin who will protect mom and dad right" Inner Glorva.
"Ah yes, I have to talk to Mevin," he said again, then he ran small to Mevin's room.
Tok tok tok tok
Glorva knocked quietly on Mevin's door, but there was no answer at all. Glorva repeatedly knocked, but there was no sign Mevin would open the door. When Glorva tried to open the door, it turned out that the door was locked from the inside, he then sighed softly.
Glorva then thought of an idea, ran to his room, then climbed out of his window. He then stepped slowly towards Mevin's window, and sure enough, Mevin's window opened. Without thinking much, Glorva jumped into Mevin's room from the open window.
Upon entering his room, he sees Mevin asleep at his reading table with a pile of books. Glorva then approached him and picked up one of the books held by Mevin.
Glorva skimmed through the book on how to hide magic, but Mevin was trying to help Glorva, but he thought badly of Mevin.
Glorva gently rubbed Mevin's head, apparently he had finished crying because of his wet face.
"Mevin, sleep in a mattress or your body will hurt later" ordered Glorva gently.
Mevin opened his eyes slowly, he gasped at Glorva who was beside him.
"Why are you here" He asked, He brushed his wet face.
Glorva smiled, then sat down on Mevin's bed. "Of course say goodbye, I'm sure tomorrow you won't want to take me away right?" Glorva said with a smile.
Mevin looked down, but he tried not to cry.
"Thank you" Glorva said with a smile, Mevin raised his face, tears already visible in both of his round eyes.
Glorva approached Mevin, then hugged him. "I never felt like I had a sister, but this time you made me feel all that, thank you for being the best sister, even though you were a little bit whinyer than me" Glorva said, his tears broke, and so did Mevin.
"I also want to go with you " said Mevin who was still tightly hugging Glorva's body.
"But you have to take care of mom and dad, if things get better, I'll look for you again" Glorva said.
Mevin did not reply, he just continued to hug Glorva while crying.
"Tonight, let me cry as much, I promise when we meet again will be a stronger person, and when that day comes, I will not be the whiny man I am today. So for tonight, let me cry, please" Isak Mevin who still hugs Glorva's tiny body.
Glorva nodded, and she also cried in Mevin's arms.
That night they both cried so much that they fell asleep together, because when morning comes, they will be apart for a long time.
