GHOST SCREAMS

GHOST SCREAMS
BE DISCOVERED

Imran was flabbergasted to know the sudden appearance of Mr. Rudi. Meanwhile, Mr. Prapto was holding back pain in his head due to his head being scratched by nails used to nail paintings to the wall.

“Aduh!!!” Mr. Prapto grimaced while holding his head.

Mr. Rudi who initially reprimanded Imran with sign language immediately jumped over the police line and helped Pak Prapto not to suffer more serious injuries.

“Thank you, Mr Rudi!” said Mr. Prapto as soon as he survived the nail scratches that hempir tore the skin of the head.

“You are okay-why, Mr Prapto?” asked Mr. Rudi with a worried face.

Pak Prapto also felt the back of his head that had come into contact with nails. Then the man observed his palm which was used to rub the back of his head. It turned out that there was no blood stuck in his hand, a sign that the nail was not scratched into the quit of his head.

“It's okay, Mr. Rudi. Just a little blister is possible,” replied Mr. Prapto.

“Please get Pak Prapto to UKS, Im!”

“Iya, Sir!”

“No need, Mr Rudi! I'm okay, why!”

“Alright then. Let's just say this is a warning for officers who enter someone else's territory without permission,”

“I'm sorry for my leniency, Mr. Rudi. I was really pursued time so did not have time to contact Mr. Rudi to ask permission.”

“No need to apologize. This also contributed to the mistakes of my staff who are careless and lack of maintaining my trust.”

“No, Mr Rudi! Miss Iis is innocent. It's purely my fault. I was the one who forced Miss Iis to enter this room. Please, Mr. Rudi don't blame Ms. Iis or Imran for forcing the two of them into this room. Again I apologize for my impoliteness.”

“Hm ... alright! Does Mr Prapto still need to check further? Please continue if it is not finished!”

“It seems like I have finished my inspection at this place, Mr. Rudi. There is no other evidence I have found here. I think my men have worked carefully.”

Pak Prapto got up and looked back. He touched the nail that almost scratched his head. Mr. Prapto smiled widely and then he stepped out of the room accompanied by three other people.

After talking for a few minutes with Mr. Rudi, Mr. Prapto also asked permission to go home. Imran also said goodbye because his school friends have all returned to their homes. Mr. Rudi observed the departure of the two people who behaved impolitely in his territory.

“Im, what's your ride home?”

“Custom Sir. Ride angkot.”

“How about I take you home today? Want to meet Kyai Nur?”

“Let's even trouble Mr. Prapto.”

“Not really. Come dah!”

Mr. Prapto also drove Imran back to his home in the Jatisari area by using his personal car. Of course Imran was happy because the arrival of Pak Prapto in his hamlet had been awaited by all the villagers.

And it's true. Arriving Pak Prapto in Jatisari hamlet, all residents also crowded to visit Mr. Hasan's house to shake hands with Mr. Prapto. Not to forget Kyai Nur and Mbah Putri also came to Pak Hasan's house to meet Pak Prapto. They were all so happy to miss the senior police officer.

At five o'clock in the afternoon, Mr. Prapto returned home and was greeted with sadness by all residents of Jatisari hamlet.

“Be careful on the road, Nak Prapto!”

“Aggregate, Kyai ..”

“Greetings to your wife, yes?”

“Expense, Nyi ..”

Pak Prapto also drove his car down the streets of Jatisari hamlet. And he arrived at the highway when the sky had begun to rise. Pak Prapto's eyes were fixed on the paddled woman who was standing in the middle of the road.

“What is the woman standing in the middle of the road at this hour? Did he cross over? But, his quiet vehicle is still standing there?”

At first the police would be alone with the woman, but as a police officer he could not allow anything to happen to the woman. He got out of the car and approached the woman.

“Mbak where are you going? Do you want to cross? Let me help!”

The woman did not answer. He turned his back on Mr. Prapto. At the same time Pak Prapto saw the truck from the west at a very fast pace. The driver of the truck did not see Mr. Prapto and the woman. Mr. Prapto waved his hand up to code the truck driver to slow down his vehicle, but his warning was not taken by the truck driver.

There was no other choice that Mr. Prapto could make at that time. Kala left him and the paddled woman could be the victim hit by the truck driver. So, Pak Prapto quickly pulled the arm of the paddled woman to be pulled to the edge avoiding the collision of the truck. However, something strange was suddenly felt by Mr. Prapto as he held the woman's hand, the man felt that the hand was extremely cold and when he pulled the hand it had tremendous power to endure. Although Mr. Prapto had expended all his strength to pull the woman's hand, but the woman's body was petrified and did not move in the slightest.

Mr. Prapto is getting more panicked because their distance to the truck is getting closer. He still tried to pull the woman's arm, but again his strength was not able to do it. In such a state of panic suddenly Mr. Prapto was like hearing the voice of someone whispering in his ear, “Leave the woman! He's not a human like you!”

As soon as he heard the voice, Mr. Prapto immediately took his hand off to the woman and he ran to the side of the road so that he could survive the truck that was heading to the middle of the road.

“Yes Lord!” peeking Pak Prapto as soon as he saw the truck hit the paddled woman.

However, the man was again surprised because the figure of the woman who was paddled suddenly disappeared from his sight. At that time Mr. Prapto only realized that the paddled woman was a genie who was trying to harm him. Realizing his presence alone in that place, Mr. Prapto ran to his car while reading the verses he memorized. After that, the man nervously turned on his car to go all the way from the place. As usual the man occasionally turned to the dashboard glass to check if the woman was still following him. Along the way Mr. Papto unceasingly recited prayers in order to survive the interference of subtle beings. Just as the azan Magrib, he finally arrived in front of his house.

“What's up, Mas? How to dry like this?” greet wife.

“Nothing, Dik,” replied Mr. Prapto lying.

This time Pak Prapto's wife began to suspect her husband's strange attitude lately.
