Celina immediately left Kris who was still talking at a glance to see the figure of Leo. He continued to follow the person, occasionally greeting the people he passed by with a smile to lose track. He's sure it's Leo, but why isn't there?

After searching all corners, he finally found Leo on the balcony, looking to down his drink.

"Basic fool!" Celina heard Leo cursing quite loudly.

"Who's the fool?" He couldn't help but make a sound. He wanted to look at her longer.

Leo turned his head, looking a little surprised by Celina's presence, but he quickly changed the look of his face and turned back, staring straight at the expanse of the flower garden.

"Devan didn't come?" Celina stood next to Leo while keeping her distance.

"No." replied Leo as he was.

"Why?"

"Mia's too weak to come to an event like this."

"really? Oh, my God, is it bad?"

Seeing Leo's response to the bases, Celina wanted to keep asking. Although he had wanted to demand an explanation of Leo's attitude, but now he had abandoned his intentions.

"No."

Celina smile.

"Please apologize to Mia because I haven't seen her yet."

Leo looked over and Celina smiled.

"You can tell Mia or Devan yourself." Leo replied again, looking as if he was getting caught off guard.

Celina laughed, so beautiful. Leos can barely hold back their smile.

"Here you look." Chris came with a smile. Seeing the tension on Leo's face and Celina's face suddenly changed, Kris knew something was wrong.

"Am I interrupting?"

"No. We're done." Leo left them both.

"Kris." Chris extended his hand to Leo.

Leo looked at the hand with raised eyebrows, but then shook it.

"Lo." Leo immediately let go of his hand.

"wait. Are you Leo Mr. Devan's personal assistant from Astra Group."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Well, nice to meet you. I hope I can work with you."

Leo slightly frowned, as did Celina.

"Consider everything! The main event will start soon." The call of a host distracts the three.

"It looks like we should get to the hall immediately." Kris smiled kindly.

Celina glanced at Leo, but then walked ahead of the two.

"Come, Mr Leo!" Kris followed Celina and aligned her steps.

Leo noticed that the interaction between the two of them seemed very interested in Celina, and Celina herself did not seem to reject the presence of Kris.

"I have to go there" said Kris, Celina nodded. "I'll see you later" Kris continued before leaving.

After Kris left, Celina turned to Leo. He knew that the man had been watching him since.

"You've seen me since." That's a statement, not a question.

"No."

"Of course, I don't expect you to admit it." Celina smiled knot.

Leo was more focused forward and did not respond to Celina. Too long looking at her would have trapped her in those beautiful eyes.

"I'm Mario Santoso as the CEO of Maso Machine holding this event as my son's only 24-year-old birthday party, will also introduce him as my future successor."

A young man went up on stage to the host and hostess of this party.

"This is our son, Christian Santoso, who from now on will serve as deputy CEO."

Celina glared towards the stage seeing Kris who she knew being introduced as the successor of Maso Machine. Likewise Leo, he did not think the child was the son of Mario.

Christian or Kris spread his smile to everyone. Everyone applauded the handsome and friendly son of Mario.

"Please give her guidance to all of you." That was the piece of sentence Kris said, the hammer he lowered his head in salute.

After the formalities were over, Kris mingled with everyone again. Many greeted him after knowing he was the son of Mario.

Kris dyed looking for Celina, then found her in a corner.

"Hi, I'm back." Greet Kris with a special smile.

"I didn't think you were Mr. Mario's son. Why didn't you say that."

"You didn't ask." Chris kept smiling.

"true."

"Where is Mr Leo?"

"I don't know, maybe he came home after the main event was over. He's not someone who likes shows like this."

Kris nodded.

"Looks like you know a lot about Mr. Leo."

"Yes, a little."

"You know what your relationship is with him?"

"Why should I tell you?" Celina raised her eyebrows.

"Ahh, it's okay if you don't want to tell me." Kris took a drink from a passing waiter and sipped slowly and continued.

"I only saw a hint of jealous fire in his eyes when I spoke to you, so I thought you had a special relationship with him."

Celina smiled faintly hearing that.

"We were lovers."

"Now?"

"I don't know."

"Aaaa, did he hang you?"

"Something like that. He ignored me for no reason for 2 years."

"Well, that's great."

"What?"

"It's great that he can ignore a girl as perfect as you. Because if it were me, there would be no way I would turn away even for a second." Kris turned to Celina, this time not with a friendly and charming smile, but a seductive smile that Celina saw at the bar at that time.

Celina was glued to that smile in a few seconds.

"So, how dreadful are you little boy." Celina covered her nervousness with a sneer.

Kris chuckled too. "Hey, how long are you gonna keep calling me a kid?"

"I don't know. I should have asked, when are you going to call me brother? You're much younger under me."

"No, I'm comfortable calling your name."

"Bas stubborn." Celina flicked her lips to make Kris laugh wider.

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Celina, Leo had been watching them since. He was about to ask about the incident two years ago, but seeing Kris come to Celina first Leo abandoned his intentions. In fact, jealousy immediately flared in his chest, it was inevitable that his love was still so deep for Celina. Before feeling any more pain, Leo left the party. He decided to trust the one he saw two years ago.
