17. Mosquito

"And, I love you." Reply Alex sincerely.

There was a sense of pleasure when Cindy heard it, but her other feelings were still unwilling to accept her husband's words. Though his little heart was eager to hug the man, especially the child he contained like wanting to feel the warmth of his father. But Alex is not out of his mind to persuade his wife. She gently stroked Cindy's hand, so Cindy felt more at ease. Lastly, he gave a kiss on the back of his wife's hand.

"My darling, you believe me, right?" Alex asked looking at Cindy so sincerely. Instead of answering, Cindy just smiled wryly at Alex.

Alex doesn't lose his spirit, he keeps trying to make Cindy trust him. She clings Cindy's hand to her chest so Cindy can feel her heartbeat. "Have you heard that, honey? My heart is one and all I love is one, you. Please believe me. Do you remember our promise? didn't you say I shouldn't lie? And by then I've been honest with you, I have a gift for you. And the reward is a vacation for our family. But since my work is crowded, I told Maya to take care of it."

"Who is Maya? Until you tell him to take care of all that? Even the hotel and the others?" Attack Cindy with a demanding series of questions to answer. Alex looked at his wife.

"You remember a week ago? You fired my secretary. The reason you fired him is because he's dressed too openly." Alex said without clearing his eyes from his wife.

"Yes, that's right. Then why? you're not happy with my decision?" Cindy replied in the same tone.

"No, whatever my wife will do. But baby, you know that a CEO without a secretary is hard, right?" This time the situation began to change. Cindy who was initially fierce seemed more softened.

"Hm, yes." Cindy answered briefly.

"So, baby. Let me once again introduce my new Secretary. Her name is Maya, she's 25 and she's married. Now, he's behind me. As a secretary, I told him to do his job as a secretary. One of them is preparing a vacation for both of us. My most beautiful and beloved Cindy, you understand?" Bright Alex without covering something up.

"Well, why didn't you tell me? If you know that we don't have to go to just now" Clara replied from behind her car's control.

"Because I'm lazy to go there" replied Cindy without thinking much. Clara was made even more confused by Cindy's answer. "I know you must be upset, but the point is, Alex's party must be complicated for me."

Clara could only smile looking at Cindy's jutek face. Now he understands why Cindy took him away from Alex, which is not to be the host. For Cindy, hosting is complicated and boring. That's why he used Clara as an excuse to get out of the party.

"Continue what about me? didn't you just say you'd love some entertainment after you heard my story?" Clara said her words in a blank tone as she could, as if a child was whining for candy. Cindy can only stop. He did promise to take Clara to the entertainment venue. Especially after hearing about Clara's marriage being on the edge. He's getting bad when he has to refuse his best friend's offer.

"alright. If it wasn't for my best friend, I wouldn't have gone to that party." Cindy replies with a wry smile.

"hehehe, thank you, my friend. Best of all." Connect Clara's speed memepercepar car. Actually, he didn't really want to go to the party. But considering his best friend wants to help him, then there is no harm in joining the party. Although his heart was still so sick and disappointed because the shadow of marriage always appeared in his mind.
