16. This you call a party?

"This you call a party?" ask a woman to the friend next to her.

"Hehehe, come. You need entertainment." His friend replied trying to persuade the woman to stay longer. But the woman quickly shook her friend's hand and left the place without caring about her friend's screams.

"That's a nightclub, not a party, Cindy" snapped at the woman who was none other than Clara to herself because Cindy was left behind. He immediately left the bar and headed to his parked car not far from there. He wanted to leave the bar and his friend there. But given that his friend was pregnant, he undoes his intentions and waits for him in the car.

"Woi, Clara. Cepet is very road. Don't know if this is her mom?" cindy complained as soon as she got into Clara's car. Without saying anything, Clara drove her car out of the bar. "Eh, where are we going Clara?"

"It's clear. I'll take you to Alex." Answer Clara casually.

"Huh, to Alex's? not Clara." Reply Cindy in a high tone all of a sudden. Clara who was behind the wheel was made dumbstruck by the tone of the person next to her. To his surprise, he almost grazed a motorcyclist. But fortunately, he managed to control the car so there was no accident.

"Can you not surprise me?" Clara was upset with her friend.

"I didn't mean to surprise you, Clara. It's just, we're not going to Alex right now, yeah" Cindy Pinta told Clara not to go to her husband's. Clara was astonished by the statement.

"Where should we go, Cindy? Aren't you guys better? Why don't you suddenly want to meet Alex?" Clara was made so astonished by the behavior of her best friend. It felt like he was going to hit Cindy's brain so she could do something natural.

Cindy looked at her best friend as if asking for understanding. But unfortunately, her best friend refused and remained adamant to go to where her husband was. So inevitably, he obeyed the will of his best friend. Hearing her husband's words, she suddenly recalled a small commotion between herself and her husband that happened about an hour ago.

The flash back

"Clara, that's all I can explain. Please, you believe me, right?" Please Alex to Clara after Cindy shows Clara a ticket that she considers proof of her affair.

"So Alex, can you explain what this all means? And who is Maya?" Clara asked Alex. The one asked only gave a nod sign that he was responding to Clara's question.

"I introduce you all, this is Maya" Alex said, introducing the woman who had just arrived. The two women in front of Alex were shocked, especially Cindy. She was so angry when she heard that it was Maya, her husband's mistress. Besides being young, she also looks sweet. So Cindy was so angry and wanted to make a fuss with the woman.

"Cindy, relax! You are not pregnant? don't do anything dangerous, Cindy!" Clara's orders are to hold Cindy back from thrusting her way toward Maya. Alex is shocked to hear Clara's statement. He just found out that his wife is pregnant.

"What dear?! Are you pregnant again? why don't you tell me?" Spray Alex with the question because honestly, she as her husband did not know it. Without a second thought, Alex approached Cindy.

"Stop, don't come any closer! remember, our problem is not over. So don't expect to touch me!" Cindy snapped as soon as she saw Alex's hand wanting to hug her. Seeing this, Clara was very sorry. Clara believed in Alex. And he knows Alex loves Cindy so much. The proof is that Alex came to Indonesia as soon as possible once he knew his wife was angry with him. It's just to get this done, it's not as easy as Alex's arrival. Cindy needs evidence that can break her alibi.

"Alex, come on. You better continue with your explanation." Said Clara who didn't want Alex to be too pushy for Cindy to forgive him. With a huff Alex sat back to his starting position.

"That ticket, I bought it for my vacation with Cindy." Alex clearly expressed his initial intentions. But Cindy doesn't believe it, she wants to cut Alex's words but Clara holds him back. Clara asked Cindy to keep listening until she finished with the eye gesture. "And Maya this is my new secretary. He suggested that I go on vacation with Cindy. He even prepared everything for our vacation. But the plane operator misnamed Cindy, so Maya and I were on the ticket."

Maya who had been listening to the explanation of her superior nodded as a sign of justifying her boss's words. Finally Clara understands what is happening now, even though it is different from Cindy.

"did you hear me, Cindy? It's just a typo." Persuade Clara to try to make Cindy understand that all this is just a misunderstanding.

"Liar, you must be lying! that woman must be looking for safety, so act plain here." Reply Cindy who does not want to accept the words of her husband.

"Honey, baby, please listen to me." Alex knelt down in front of Cindy. Despite Cindy's continued rejection, it didn't make her retreat. So inevitably Cindy's hand he managed to hold. "Look at my eyes,,"

"You're a wild." Cindy said she would not look into the eyes of the person kneeling before her. Instead of being angry at Cindy's words, Alex smiled sweetly.

"And, I love you." Reply Alex sincerely.
