52. Meet in person

Arthur and Brianna are back in New York City. They join hands to strengthen each other because today they will do their own mission.

Arthur will convince Jane of her marriage to Brianna. Brianna tells Chico who Arthur really is.

"I'll drive you to the Apartmen" said Arthur, who leaned Brianna's head against the chest of his field as they boarded the car that picked them up.

"But you don't have to go down first. Don't show up in front of Chico."

"Yes, honey." Arthur kisses the top of Brianna's head lovingly and Brianna feels a strange vibration that seems to be channeled from the sweet actions that Arthur often does to her.

Brianna got off the car that drove her to her New York residence, waving a glimpse at Arthur who was not coming down. Brianna then heads to the sister's apartment where Chico lives while she works abroad.

"the chico! Momma's home!!" brianna exclaimed to the son and it turned out there silent. Brianna did enter the house without being welcomed by anyone, she pressed the password of the apartment independently.

"Flo?" call Brianna.

But there is no lawfulness.

"The chico?"

Silent. There's no sound whatsoever.

"Zach's? Where're you?"

Brianna didn't find any of them in the apartment.

"Where are they?" muttered. Brianna grabs the phone from the bag she was wearing, tries to call Zach's number, but turns out to be disconnected.

Brianna did not give up, he called Flo's phone and it turns out that the ringing of the woman's phone was actually heard in Brianna's sense of hearing.

Brianna walked slowly towards the middle room, apparently Flo's phone was there, probably left behind.

"What's going on?" brianna, she felt bad all of a sudden.

A minute, two minutes later, Brianna finally got a call from a foreign number.

"Brianna's? Where're you?"

"Flo? I'm in your apartment. Where're you? Where's Chico?" ask Brianna to panic.

"Bri, we're at the Hospital."

Brianna suddenly turned pale, she was afraid something might happen to Chico, her son.

Brianna immediately disconnects the call even before Flo tells her where her Hospital is located. They have a Subscription Hospital and Brianna took the initiative to go directly there.

"Flo?" call Brianna.

Brianna arrived a few dozen minutes later. He looked at Flo with a curious look. "Did something happen to Chico? Tell me what happened!" pepas urged.

"So Chico's palms were cold and sweating a lot. I'm sure it's his heart problem again."

Brianna sat down. If so, how should he explain to Chico about Arthur's whereabouts.

"Bri, I'm sure Chico can get through this again. He is being treated by a competent doctor. So, be calm and pray a lot." Flo hugged Brianna's trembling body.

Zach who had just come out of Chico's room saw the scene where his wife and brother were strengthening each other.

"Zach's? What about Chico?"

"He had to undergo treatment again, he was exhausted."

"What did he do last day?" ask Brianna to know.

"none. He's doing his rightful activities." Flo said that.

"Is there anything Chico thinks?" inner Brianna.

Zach appears to be calling someone, which Brianna eventually finds out if Zach is trying to contact one of his friends to borrow money for Chico's treatment.

"Zach, no need .. I have money for Chico's treatment this time," replied Brianna.

"Are you going to tell me honestly where your money came from?" zach sarcasm. Brianna recalls when she did not come out to Zach about her work the other day where she was able to get Chico's treatment money quickly.

"It's my money, my paycheck for going to Canada and Milan."

"Woa, really?" Zach blatantly shows his dislike, because he knows Brianna's departure has something to do with Arthur.

"I'll pay for my son's treatment."

And the debate between Zach and Brianna stopped when he heard the words of Arthur who was standing there.

"You here?" Zach smiled wryly. He knows Arthur will use this moment to sneak into Chico's life.

"Yes. It doesn't matter, does it?" arthur said casually, he put his hand into the drawstring pocket he wore.

"Arthur ..." Brianna pulls Arthur away, she'll talk to the man who shows up all of a sudden.

"Why don't you just call me and tell me about Chico, Bri?"

"I just found out she's in the hospital, I didn't even hold my phone anymore when I found out she was here" Brianna said.

Arthur stroked Brianna's shoulder. He didn't mean to blame the woman, he just wanted Brianna to take it there and call him at times like this.

"You know where Chico came from at this hospital?"

"My people told me," replied Arthur.

"Have you met your mother?"

"That's not important. Anyway whatever the response is to our marriage I will stick to my stand to defend you," Arthur said steadily. "The most important thing now is Chico's health" he said.

Brianna nodded. He needs comfort at this time and the gratitude of Arthur's speech seems to be able to strengthen it.

"We're gonna get through this together, Bri. You're not alone anymore. I feel the burden on your shoulders." Arthur wants to hug Brianna but the woman refuses.

"Don't do this in public, Arthur. Anyway, I haven't told Zach about our marriage."

"All right, I get it."

Thanks to the connections and money that Arthur Mattews had, that day Chico was moved to a better and more comfortable room for his son. He really showed that he can give his best for the son. He wants to make up for all the time he couldn't spend with Chico.

Zach is also unable to prevent Arthur from seeing Chico. Arthur is Chico's real father, thanks to the man and Chico getting better care.

That same night, Chico was awakened from his long sleep because of the drugs he consumed. He asked Brianna where she was at the doctor who treated her.

"Madam, your son is conscious and wants to see you."

Brianna was grateful and immediately entered the room where her son was being cared for.

"Hi, Honey. Momma misses you."

"Mom, I'm sorry I got back sick."

Brianna almost cried because of her son's innocent words. How could Chico blame himself for this?

"Don't apologize, it's not your fault baby." Brianna stroking Chico's puffed cheeks.

"Mom, yesterday I overheard Mom Flo and Dad Zach's conversation." The plain face seemed hesitant to say it, but her slurred and lethargic voice remained understandable to Brianna.

"A-what? What did you hear, son?" ask Brianna.

"They were talking about my real father. What does that mean, Mom? Do I have another father?" ask Chico who made Brianna gape in disbelief.

Brianna concludes that this is Chico's real source of thought. This is what makes Chico tired. He was tired of thinking about possibilities that might not have been able to be absorbed and digested by his small brain.

"Don't think about it first huh, honey. We're focusing on Chico's health. How's it?"

"Mom, do I have another father?"

Brianna laughed a little. "After you recover, Mom promises to tell you, but promise not to keep thinking about this. Okay?"

Chico nodded his head obediently. He can't think much.

Brianna comes out of Chico's treatment room and tells Zach that her son overheard a conversation between Zach and Flo.

"Gosh, why can I be so careless" said Zach regretting what the child had heard.

"It's okay, Zach. Sooner or later Chico will find out too," said Brianna wisely.

Zach looked at Brianna with disapproval. "Don't tell me if you're going to tell him soon, Bri? See ... he's not ready for this. Don't tell him anything" please Zach.

Brianna glanced at Arthur at a glance, as if asking for the man's approval and thankfully Arthur understood that he did not have to force everything quickly. Moreover, this concerns the health of his own son.

"Mom, I'm going to the bathroom." Chico called Brianna who was asleep by his side. The woman was about to get up to Chico, but with Arthur quickly approached because she was also staying at her son's nursery that night.

"Where are you going?" ask Arthur.

"Chico's going to the bathroom" replied Brianna.

"Continue your sleep, let me help her" said Arthur softly.

"You sure? Me, I'm normal."

"Let him get used to me too" whispered Arthur and immediately carried Chico on his back. The boy seemed happy, because with Arthur's help he didn't need to set foot on the floor.

Arthur sits Chico in the closet and waits for the boy to urinate.

"Uncle, are you my Momma's girlfriend?"

Arthur held back the ripple due to his son's innocent question. "Why are you asking me that, Boy?" tanyakanya.

"Because you helped Momma take care of me."

"If so, what can?" ask Arthur who is now helping to wear Chico's pants painstakingly.

"Maybe, but you must also accept me as your son, do you want to?"

"Of course, Boy." Arthur again carried Chico on his back and walked to the hospital bed there.

"I already have a father, but I want another Daddy to accompany Momma" Chico said, chuckling. He covered the boy's body with a blanket as he glanced at Brianna curled up near the head of the bed.

"You're lucky because I'm gladly willing to be your Daddy" replied Arthur confidently.

"Toss?" Chico held out his fists toward Arthur and Arthur greeted him, until they were all high-five with familiarity.

"Gtsss ... Mom is sleeping, don't bother her or she'll get angry" Arthur and Chico giggle at her.

"Mom was never angry with me" Chico said frankly.

"really? But he's always mad at me." Arthur was complaining.

Chico smothers his own mouth which makes a laugh as a result of Arthur's statement. "That means you've done him wrong, Uncle," he said.

"Yes, you're right. I was wrong about your Momma. He's as fierce as a lion, but if he's not angry I miss him" Arthur said as he confided in adults.

Chico is back giggling. Arthur's presence can immediately make him happy, even though he rarely can quickly get close to new people.

"Thank you Uncle, because you've been helping to take care of me."

"That's my job, Boy!" Arthur gently rubbed the top of Chico's head wrapped in a bowl-like hair. "Be a good child so that your mother is always happy" he explained.

"of course. I will also try not to get sick anymore so that my mother does not bother to go to the Hospital to take care of me," he explained.

"It turns out you're very clever. I'm so proud of you, son." Arthur is inside him. He feels Chico's cleverness comes from Brianna, but the boy's good looks clearly follow in his footsteps. He was proud and proud of his son.

"Did Uncle have kids too?" chico asked Arthur who was still late with his proud thoughts on the behavior of the child.
