Season 1 Darren's Story

By morning, the sun was beginning to emerge from his hiding place. Zara opened her eyes and looked at Darren who was still sleeping on the sofa of the room.

Zara got up from the bed. His hands still ached and hurt as well as his body, the wounds of the wire marks binding him still hurt. Zara forced herself to walk on her own she did not want Darren to continue carrying her back and forth here and there.

Zara's feet began to tread on the floor.

"1..2..3.."Zara tried to stand up.

His hand that was holding the edge of the bed was immediately released and Zara slowly began to slowly and carefully step up.

Darren opened his eyes. Early in the morning he was startled by Zara who was not in her bed. Darren immediately got up in a panic he checked in the bathroom but did not see Zara.

"Zara, Zara!!"

Darren runs out and he feels relieved when he sees Zara talking to Denia and her mother beside the fish pond.

Darren approached them, "don't you wake me up?"darren.

Denia turned around and looked at Zara with a meaningful smile, "why? you want me to talk to Darren?"said Zara who understood the meaning of Denia's smile.

Denia nodded steadily. Zara answered Denia's nod with a headband, which meant that Zara would not help Denia to persuade Darren. Denia immediately put on a pouting face.

Zara held her mother's hand while staring in seriousness.

"Well, why does my mom stay with Darren?"Zara was full of seriousness.

Riana looked at Zara and then held her cheek, "because mamah felt that Darren could look after and protect you, more than mama."

"But, did you forget what your mother had done the same papah," Zara's eyes began to glaze over. Her heart really hurt considering what happened to her 13 years ago, so painful.

Riana and Gunawan are watching Zara who is busy playing games with her friends. The children of Riana's neighbors. They were playing in the complex park.

Gunawan catches Zara's little body and holds her. They returned home with laughter.
