BAB22: In the Canteen

Elena came out of her Father's ward with a man in front of her. After saying goodbye and making sure Dimas was okay they immediately went out to fill their stomachs in the canteen of this hospital.

Bryan stepped his foot first followed by Elena behind him. Just a few steps away suddenly Bryan stopped his legs making Elena who was behind him hit the upright back of the man.

Elena slightly grimaced in pain on the forehead. What's wrong with this guy? why stop suddenly? moreover, the man's back felt hard on his forehead making his head a little sore. Elena so tangent is actually this person human or stone anyway?

"Ck! I'm not your employer so don't walk behind me." Bryan coldly without looking at Elena, the man focused his gaze more on the hallway in front of him.

"Where should I go?" elena asked still by holding her forehead.

Hearing that answer made Bryan twist his body so that now their positions are facing each other. Bryan's eyes looked sharply at the girl. "Walk next to me."

Elena was slightly stunned then not long before looking towards the surroundings where they were standing. The situation here is quite crowded with several officials and visitors of this hospital. His gaze returned to Bryan who was still in front of him.

"Here are many people Doc, later if we go hand in hand even make the center of attention again." Elena's plan. This doctor is the owner of the hospital so surely every movement Bryan will be seen by the workers or visitors here, right?

Bryan seemed to let out a slow sigh and then clasped Elena's hand and turned his body to continue their journey earlier.

Elena's eyes rounded as she felt her hand being pulled by the man before her. As a result, Elena also followed every step of the Doctor because her hands were tightly grasped by him.

After a few minutes they arrived in front of the cafeteria. Seeing that the situation here was quite quiet made Elena breathe a little relieved.

Bryan narrowed his eyes and looked around and walked back into the canteen with his hands still holding Elena.

Until a chair and table in the middle of this canteen Bryan immediately released his grip on Elena and sat on one of the chairs.

Elena was just silent, she was still standing next to this man. He will just sit here or not.

"You don't want to sit?" bryan coldly without looking at Elena beside him.

"I-i"

"Today I pay, you take it easy." continued Bryan.

Elena slightly reviewed her thin smile. This doctor knows what he has in mind. What other than a Doctor, this man is also a psychic?

Elena also directly occupied the chair in front of Bryan. Their sitting positions are facing each other now.

Before long suddenly came the old woman with a paper in her hand towards the table that was sat Bryan and Elena.

"Excuse me Miss, sir." said the woman kindly. "Please select the menu." he continued while giving a paper containing the menus available in this bag.

Elena received the paper with a friendly smile, then she stared at the menus to choose the food she would eat.

"Add more."

Hearing that voice made Elena look at the Doctor in front of her with a stern look. "What?"

"Add more food. You're skinny so you have to add to your meal." Bryan's cold.

"Fried rice alone is enough Doc, besides I don't want to eat much" Elena replied in an annoyed tone. Again this doctor said he was thin, yes even though he was thin but he was healthy.

"You refute my words?" Bryan raised his eyebrows.

Huh!

Elena looked back at the papers in her hand with an elusive look. "Add again the meatballs one, the drink only water." after saying that Elena also gave the menu to the woman beside her.

"Fried rice one, Meat one, white water one. Is there another Miss? Mister?"

Elena looked at the man before her with a questioning look. From earlier Bryan just looked at himself without looking at the menus in front of him.

"That's it." Bryan briefed.

The waiter nodded friendly. "It's so long awaited Miss, sir," he said farewell and walked away from Elena's and Bryan's desk.

"Doctors don't miss food?" Elena was astonished, saying Bryan also wanted to go to the cafeteria but why did after arriving here the man not order any food?

"No. You're the one eating."

Elena simply raised both of her shoulders indifferently then looked towards the surroundings to dispel the nervousness in her heart.

Before long the waiter came by holding a tray containing a bowl and a plate on it. Elena's eyes sparkled, He had already been holding back his hunger in the stomach making him feel pain in the stomach.

"Please eat" said the woman by keeping the food she brought on the table. After finishing delivering the food, the waiter also said to continue his other work.

"Doctors sure you don't want to eat?" ask Elena. However, the one who paid for this was Bryan, so he offered the man his food.

"No," Bryan briefed with his cell phone in both hands.

"Just so." Elena immediately ate the food quietly. Although he occasionally saw Bryan looking at him but he was only indifferent, his gaze focused more on the food in front of him.
