CHAPTER21: Conscious

Until in front of his goal Bryan immediately entered into it. He saw a girl with a man who kept her eyes closed in bed. Bryan then walked closer to where the two people were.

Bryan stood beside Elena, the girl seemed to close her eyes by holding the man's hand in front of her tightly.

"Your father is fine. He'll be conscious after the dope on his body disappears."

The voice made Elena gasp in shock. Elena immediately looked at the origin of the voice that spoke earlier. His eyes caught a handsome man standing right next to him but soon his gaze was turned back on his father.

"Will you get well after this, Doc?" elena asked without turning her gaze to Dimas.

"I do not guarantee his recovery, we will see the future development."

Elena breathed slowly. He knew the father's illness was too severe so he could only pray for the recovery of Dimas.

Bryan saw that Elena's face was still sad. The girl seemed to love her father very much. Somehow his heart felt sliced to see the sad face of this girl beside him.

The two were silent with their respective minds making the situation of this room again quiet, but soon they were surprised by the movement of the eyes from the direction of someone who slept in front of him.

"Mr?!" elena's eyes sparkled when she saw the Father who started to open his eyes.

Bryan was still silent, it seemed like the dope had disappeared in Dimas' body making the man now start to wake up.

"Thank God you're awake." Elena glanced at Bryan with a happy smile then looked back at her Father.

Elena immediately took a glass of water and gave it to Dimas to drink. He knew his father was thirsty. After finishing drinking Elena then put the empty glass back on the table beside the bed.

"This is the hospital sir, Mr. Abis operated on so Mr. calm down yes surely soon you can recover" continued Elena.

Dimas's face was changing. "Rum-mah's sick? Na, you know we don't have money to pay for the hospital." Dimas slowly looked at Elena.

"So calm father yes, you do not have to think about the cost of the most important Mr. now think of the health of the Father so that the Father can be cured." Elena knew for sure her father was worried about the expensive hospital costs so Elena had to sacrifice for the recovery of the Father, the decision to marry a Doctor beside him was the best decision.

Dimas was silent but before long his eyes were diverted to a man in a white coat beside his son.

Seeing that made Elena follow the direction of the father's gaze. He understood the intent behind that gaze.

"His name is Doctor Bryan Sir, he's the doctor at this hospital. He's also the one who took care of and paid for all of your treatment." continued Elena.

Dimas smiled looking at the handsome Doctor. "Thank you Doc, I owe a lot to the doctor."

Bryan berdekhem. "Yes." in short, cold.

Elena looked at Bryan with a stern look. He did not understand the intention behind the man's gaze.

Dimas looked at the two people beside him questioningly. Seems like there's something they want to talk about? make Dimas a little kepo with both.

Bryan sighed slowly. This girl beside him did not seem to understand the intent of his gaze.

"What's wrong?" ask Dimas.

Elena's gaze that had been staring at Bryan immediately looked back at the Father. "Eh, what a gap sir" he said with a smile.

Elena held her stomach slowly when she heard a soft voice from inside her stomach. The long wait for the operation left him a little hungry.

Before Dimas answered suddenly Bryan cut him off.

"Your father will be guarded by the sisters, I will order them to come here." Bryan said looking at Elena.

"That's right, Mr. gapapa kok Na. You eat there first, I don't want you to be sick later." said Dimas smiled as he held Elena's hand that still held her tightly.

"Yaudah if Elena goes to the cafeteria first, sir. Father here just do not think macem-macem also let you get well" replied Elena with a sweet smile.

"Yes." Yeah." Dimas glanced at Bryan who was still silent and then looked back at his son. "You go to the cafeteria alone, son?"

"Let Elena go with me sir, I happen to be going to the cafeteria as well."
