After resting for about eight hours, I began to open my eyes and wriggle the stiff and stiff muscles.
"Hoam, it was noon. What time is it?" muttered.
I yawned while looking at the clock on the wall that showed at one o'clock in the afternoon.
"Huh, it's one o'clock! My stomach began to rumble, it was noon." I cried.
I immediately got out of the bed and opened the curtains and window panes. Then I stepped into the bathroom.
After cleaning myself, I went back to my room and made some warm sweet tea. After that, I took the instant cup noodles from inside the sideboard, then brewed the cup noodles with hot water from the dispenser.
While waiting for the noodles to stretch, I sat on the floor while holding my back and leaning on the edge of the mattress.
After silencing the noodles for five minutes, I immediately ate it greedily until the toilet, then sipped warm sweet tea until half a glass.
"Eeeggh, thank God." I muttered.
I burped in fullness while covering my mouth with my palm. After I finished filling my stomach, I picked up a cigarette and lit it.
While engrossed in smoking cigarettes while daydreaming, my phone also rang loudly on the table. I stretched out my hand to grab the phone that was ringing.
"Dad."
I muttered after seeing the screen of the phone that was on in my grasp. Without thinking any longer, I immediately received a call from my father while saying greetings.
"Hello assalamualaikum, yeah."
"Wa'laikum greetings," replied the father.
"What's up, dad?"
I asked without further ado. Because I've already memorized my father's intention to contact me. What else if it wasn't about money.
"There's your money, Ndah? You need to pay the same rent to pay for water." asked Dad.
"Loh, just a few days ago I sent you five hundred grand. Time's up, huh, Dad?" ask me wonder.
"What money did I send yesterday for, Dad?" ask me again.
"Udah is out of debt, Ndah" replied the father casually.
"What's the debt for, Dad? I've been sending money a lot, why do you still owe it to other people?" ask me more and more curious.
"Make Ridwan's school fees and Anisa's college, Ndah." replied the father.
"Oh my God, yeah! So all this time the money I sent was all over, with nothing stored in the slightest?" ask me.
I immediately asked at length to my father, while massaging the head that began to throb pain.
"That's why dad said he wanted to raise money to buy land, to build a house. Then my target father would be me to send money two million every month."
"Trus belom again the others. I also often send money five hundred thousand to repeatedly." continued me.
Dad didn't answer all my rants. He just kept quiet without saying a word to me.
"If there is no cost, why forced to go to college?"
"Unless Anisa gets a scholarship, no problem. But if not, why should it be forced, yeah?"
I took a deep breath and went back to babbling to my father.
"Dad knows for himself, if the cost of college is expensive. Where do you get money from?" ask me.
"Or not-don't, the money that I've been sending for a year, isn't it, it's just for the tuition of both of them?"
My emotions began to rise to the crown. I can't hold back my anger anymore. As for father, he remained silent as he continued to listen to my babble. Maybe he knew I was mad at him.
"What use are they both in high school, if finally his work is just a foot barge at home?" say me.
"While I'm here working the bone-chilling desperately looking for money, just to finance them both. Don't you have any pity for me, Dad?"
I took a heavy breath while closing my eyes. After that, I also returned to issue all the complaints that had always stuck in my heart.
"I'm selling my pride here, Dad. Let me know! I had to drink liquor every day, accompany many men every night, and live a kara in the city of people."
"Did you ever ask me once, as long as I was out in this country?"
"It hurts? Or not eating because there is no money? Did you ever ask me that? Never, dad!" my snapping.
"What I always ask is money, money and money!" my screeches.
I overflowed all my frustration at my father while shedding tears.
"If I'm sick and need treatment, will you all be able to take my medication?"
"Are the children of the two fathers able to send money for me to seek treatment? Can't do it, dad!"
I kept quiet while listening to all my words.
"If I'm hung by a lot of people, I can also be uprooted for a long time, yeah."
"My ability also has a limit, if it is too pressed and forced, for a long time I can also go crazy." continued me again.
I cried as if to say all those words to my biological father.
Father still remained silent without answering anything to me. After a few moments of silence, I finally started to make a sound again.
"Well, what else, Ndah? Who else would have helped the three of us here if not asking with you?" said father.
"Send them both to work, Dad! They are already grown up. Don't know it's just a foot barge at home." I replied firmly.
"Money will not fall from the sky by itself. If it's not in the way it works." I replied.
"Don't just be able to expect the energy of others, to meet their lifestyle." added me again.
"I can only send a million and a half dollars every month. And that's just for the needs of the father, not for the needs of both of them." I said.
"I also have to send money for grandma's needs, eight hundred thousand every month." I explained.
"To pay for catering meals and for granny handrails money. Okay, yeah. I'm gonna take a break, I'm gonna have to work again tonight, assalamualaikum."
I closed the call unilaterally. After the call was cut off, I threw the phone on the bed violently.
O God, this pain of my heart and soul. Please be strong, my heart, God. Give me patience and sincerity in all this, O God amen. My prayer in my heart.
Shortly after, my phone rang again. I immediately took the phone I threw on the bed.
"Haris." I muttered while looking at the phone screen.
"Hello, assalamualaikum."
"Wa'laikum salam, what else, Ndah? Did you eat belom?" ask Haris.
"Udah, bang. Eating cup noodles is the same as drinking warm sweet tea." I reply.
"Kok eat noodles again anyway, Ndah." protested Haris.
"Morning lazy down, bang." I relaxed.
"Hmmm, you slacker!" ledek Haris's.
"Let's go, weekk."
I stuck out my tongue as if Haris was in front of me right now.
"Haha."
Haris immediately chuckled at my answer.
"What's your voice, Ndah? You're crying, aren't you?" ask Haris curiously.
