Forced to Be a Comforter Woman

Forced to Be a Comforter Woman
Karaoke Work

This is a true story that I experienced in 2016. Being a comfort woman, in one of the karaoke places in the city of Batam.

"Here, baby!"

Call Haris, he waves his hand at me. She chose me to accompany her to drink and have fun.

"Yes, bang!" answer me.

"I say goodbye first, man friend." I exclaimed.

I said goodbye and waved to the other waiters, who were still waiting faithfully for the other guests to come.

I walked in quick steps, to approach Haris who was waiting for me at the main door.

"Come, bang!" take me to Haris.

I smiled and grabbed Haris by the arm. I brought her into the karaoke room.

"Sit here first yeah, bang! I want to order a drink to the cashier for a second."

Haris obeyed my words, he sat sweetly in the place I had chosen for both of us.

I immediately rushed to the box where the waiters' bags were stored, which was located next to the cashier's desk to store my backpack.

After that, I took the phone and put it in my trouser pocket.

I wear long white jeans, and a checkered black shirt. Our clothes should be polite. The boss strictly forbids his waiters to wear revealing and sexy clothes.

Even though our work in the eyes of people looks despicable and low, we still have to keep the appearance closed and tidy.

That's one of the rules that I have in place at my current workplace. I walked over to the counter, to order three bottles of drink and a pack of cigarettes.

"Bil, order three bottles of the same drink a pack of cigarettes, yes!" ask Billy.

"Okay, Ndah. For what number of tables, Ndah?" ask Billy.

"Tempo number five, Bill." I smiled sweetly at Billy the cashier.

"Don't smile, Ndah! Ntar even smitten you with my handsome face." quipped Billy.

"Goddess, this bambang tamvan!" reply me.

I mocked Billy by sticking my tongue out at him. Then, I walked away from Billy.

I carry three bottles of drink, and a pack of cigarettes to table number five, where Haris was sitting.

Arriving at the table, I sat down beside Haris and poured the drink into a glass. I pour it slowly, so that the drink does not foam.

I put some ice cubes in the glass. After that, I handed the glass to Haris' hand who was sitting right on my left.

"This is her drink, bang!"

Haris received the glass from my hand, and I asked him to make a toast.

"Let's have a toast, bang!" take me.

"Okay, baby." reply Haris.

Me and Haris raised their glasses and "cheers." We both drank the drink until the toilet in one breath at a time.

My eyes immediately closed, because it suppressed the very bitter taste of the drink. My head immediately felt heavy and dizzy from the drink.

Because I'm not a drinker. Therefore I easily dizzy, even if only drinking a little of the liquor.

After the dizziness in my head was a bit light, I took a cigarette and lit it. While smoking a cigarette, I had a slight glance at Haris, who was beside me.

I continued to smoke the cigarette in my hand, with a blank look straight ahead.

"What are you thinking, Ndah?" Haris asked as he continued to look at my face.

"My head is dizzy again, bang. There are too many problems I have to face right now."

I answered honestly while holding the head that began to throb pain.

A little story about Haris, he was one of our karaoke guests. Every time Haris comes, he always asks me to accompany him.

He doesn't want to be accompanied by other waiters other than me. That time he came once, when I was on holiday or from work. When Haris came, he went straight to my friends.

Haris looked one by one, the woman on the long bench. Then, he asked one of my friends who was in that place.

"Well don't work, deck?" ask Haris.

"God, bang. Beautiful again of tonight." replied my friend Tia.

"What do you need with the lovely guy, bang?" ask Tia again.

"Oh, he's on holiday, yeah. It doesn't need anything, deck. Just want to meet the same, the beautiful." replied Haris.

"Abang, would you like a drink inside?" ask Tia.

My friend Tia smiled at Haris, the man who was looking for me.

"Sorry, deck. Next time I come here again, if the Beautiful has entered work."

"Okay sip, bang." reply Tia.

Tia gave a thumbs up to Haris. Haris became misbehaved, and scratched his non-itchy head with a smile.

"Okay then, I say yes, deck!" pamit Haris's.

Haris began to step on his feet, and left the karaoke place.

"Okay, be careful on the road yeah, bang." said Tia.

"Yes, deck." reply Haris.

Tia looked at Haris who had passed away from before her. Haris walked to his car parked in front of the karaoke building.

That's one of those things my friend Tia told me about. About one of the guests who was looking for my whereabouts, while I was away or off work. He's the guy I'm drinking with right now.

"It's a matter of my father, bang." I replied.

I returned to smoking cigarettes with a bright look. While Haris, he propped up his chin while looking at my face.

"Why your father, Ndah? Is there a problem there?" ask Haris again.

I took a deep breath and exhaled him roughly. To be honest, I'm ashamed to tell anyone about my father's nature.

But, this chest feels tight if it does not pour out all my complaints. Because seeing me from earlier just silent, Haris also returned to voice.

"Tell me about your problem, Ndah! Don't you mind yourself, I'm ready to listen to your complaints." continued Haris again.

"It's a matter of money, bang." I hesitated.

I looked down immediately after saying those words. As for Haris, she directly hugged my body from the side. He seemed to know that I was sad right now.

Yes, I was sad, I was hurt, and I was tired.
