For Kahiyang

For Kahiyang
26. Airin's Return

Brisia came back crying when her mother-in-law came. Airin returned home after a month in the Netherlands. Instead of being greeted with joy, it was greeted with the cry of his daughter-in-law.

Brisia told me what happened. But Brisia still doesn't know who the married man is. Only Rozi knows.

"Mom, Bri please persuade Mr. Rozi to look for Kahi. Bri's anxious. Kahi didn't bring any money. Kahi also has no friends. Bri was worried," Brisia begged her in-laws.

"Mom's gonna talk to that fucking kid! Where's Rozi? He's been overdue. I'm disappointed" said Airin. His old face looked tired.

"There's a workspace," replied Brisia.

Airin went upstairs between her daughters-in-law. Rozi's office door is unlocked. How shocked when the door opens. Goods scattered everywhere. Glass shards from the Kahiyang photo frame were also splattered.

Brisia shut her mouth. This angry husband.

"Mom, be careful," hold Airin's arm.

"It's okay. You told me to clean up this mess" he said.

Airin stepped slowly and carefully. Rozi was still asleep on the sofa. Airin directly hit his son's face with a pillow.

"Brazed kid! The child has no feelings!" mean it.

Rozi surprised. "Mother! What the hell is this? Why beat me with a pillow?" rozi asked, covering his face from the mother's tantrums.

"Whatwhat what? Mom should have asked. You why? Did you say that to your own daughter?" Airin was so angry that he hit his son with his own hand.

"Mom, stop. Stop that!" Rozi caught Airin's hand.

"You're outrageous. Granddaughter only has us. We're his family, but now he's gone" his body felt limp, down and sitting on the floor.

"I'm sorry, Kiran. I have a son who has no heart. Forgive me ..." Airin cried, feeling guilty about Kahiyang's departure from home.

"Mom, don't do this. Get up," Rozi tried to get his mother. But Airin refused.

"Let Mother be like this. Mother is very sinful. Mom is sad, mom is disappointed. You've hurt my granddaughter. Oh ... Kahi. Forgive Grandma ..." Airin was crying, roaring.

Brisia stood in the doorway, continuing to wipe away her tears.

"But he was wrong, ma'am. Rozi should teach him a lesson. Let him go. A stubborn boy! He knew it was wrong but he did it anyway. What love do we give less? then he looked for it in a married man? Where's Rozi wrong, Mom?" Rozi.

"How you are wrong! You've insulted Kiran. True said Kahiyang, blame him but do not insult his mother. Kahiyang is there because of your mistake too! You'd forgotten? You and Kiran made that mistake, not just Kiran. You too, Rozi!" Airin again hit Rozi with a pillow.

Rozi quiet. He was wrong.

"Why silence? Your anger is out of control. What kind of father would turn his mistakes to others? The one you once loved. Remember that! You used to pick Kiran, not Mom or anyone. And you brought Kahiyang to our family. Remember your struggle at that time! You almost parted ways with Brisia," said Airin.

"Look at your wife!" - appointed Brisia- "she accepted Kahiyang sincerely. Love your daughter like her own. So did Bitna and Brenda. For them, Kahiyang is the best sister they have. If the current Kahiyang wrong step, embrace him. Give her understanding. Not hurt! Now I want you to take my granddaughter home! Apologize to your daughter. And don't force her to marry the man of your choice! Not the best according to your version but what Kahiyang wants. Let her be happy with her own choices, "Airin is tired of nagging her son.

"But he chose the man, Mom. The man was far above Kahiyang," - setting his breath - "he was Satria Arsyanendra, the owner of the Foundation where Bitna and Brenda were in school," Rozi looked at Brisia.

Brisia retreated, holding on to the door goal. He's surprised.

"That's not important. The most important thing is to bring Kahiyang home. The mother will talk to him, "Airin went out of the room, down the stairs, into his room.

"G ... Kahiyang. Grandma is guilty. Grandma wanted to apologize. Grandma wants to hug you" Airin wiped a picture of herself with Kahiyang during last year's winter break in London.

It was a hard morning for Airin. His return is because he misses family, wants to get together and enjoy time together.

Bitna contacted him to quickly return to Indonesia. This Saturday Bitna invited the whole family to stay at the Villa. But plans changed after Rozi decided to hold the engagement event with Earth Kahiyang.

Airin did not think that Kahiyang would be as determined as he liked married men. Kahiyang Airin know, Kahiyang who is submissive, do not like to make tantrums, kind and loving. But now everything is different. Grandchildren change.

"Grandmother will hear all your complaints. Hurry home and hug Grandma," he muttered to himself.

Airin slept hugging the picture frame. Until lunch time, Brisia knocked on the door.

"Mom, have lunch first. Brisia has cooked my favorite food" said Brisia sitting on the edge of the bed.

Airin shook his head, refusing, unwilling. His appetite is declining.

"Don't do it, ma'am. Mom just got home, I need some more energy. Kahi must be sad to see that her grandmother is sick. Eat first, ma'am? Or Brisia bring the food here?" Brisia was so patient and considerate of her mother-in-law.

"Mother wants Kahiyang home. If Kahi hasn't come home yet, I don't want to eat" Airin went on a hunger strike. Like he was flying a war flag to his son, Rozi.

Brisia fails to persuade her in-laws, she sulks at Rozi.

"Pa, please take Kahi home. Find him, Pa. Mom won't eat. I want Kahi home, "Brisia begged her husband.

"What's looking for it? He would still choose that man! Now he just dares to stay together" Rozi said.

"I mean Papa?" ask Brisia.

"Papa sent people to come to school. Satria did not come to his office" Rozi said.

"Then? Papa thinks Kahiyang is with Satria?" ask Brisia again.

"Yes. And it actually is. Papa's man, sending this photo," shows the picture from his cell phone, Satria and Kahiyang came out of the apartment last night.

Brisia again shut her mouth. Kahiyang actually dared to do that.

"Why is your daughter like this?" he murmured, still staring at the phone screen.

"Papa is wrong, Papa is angry but Papa keeps an eye on him. Papa wants Kahi to realize his mistake. What he did was wrong. Kahi is big, he should be able to choose what is right and what is wrong" Rozi sat in his chair.

"But Mama's afraid they're doing the no-no, Pa. Before it's too late, take Kahiyang home! Mama didn't want to take any chances," Brisia again pleaded.

Rozi was silent, gritting his teeth and hardening his jaw. Honestly, Rozi was just as worried. Rozi did not want Kahiyang and Satria to go any further.
