Ch. 13: Ran, Childhood Friend (Part 2)

...****...

After a few minutes, Ran returned with a tray containing a glass of tea in his hand. The girl placed the tea on the wooden table with a smile. "Drink first, Bud," said Ran allowed the man to sip his homemade tea.

Budi nodded slowly while replying, "I-Yes." He then placed his fingers between the handle of the glass and began to taste the jasmine-scented drink. His facial expression instantly changed as the water in the glass touched his lips. "Uhh .. hot. But delicious! It's the best tea I've tried in years!" he immediately pretended to be a chef. He deliberately said those words of praise so that Kirana would feel happy.

However, the reaction shown was different to what he was thinking. "What the hell is~? It's just fragrant cider tea!"

Bfrff!

"Uhuk! Uhuk!" Knowing the fact that this tea is only brewed tea, Budi immediately choked. He even coughed so shamefully.

"Hey, careful, Bud!" Ran approached with a slightly anxious face. "You are still as rich as you were. Ahaha!" He laughed a little.

Budi who was enjoying tea was speechless when he heard the words spoken. He stopped his drinking for a moment. "Yes? How rich are you?" ask Budi later.

Ran eased his laughter and looked at the two beads of Budi's eyes. With a voice that sounded slightly changed, he responded to the question, "Funny." Kirana pointed at Budi with her index finger. "You're still looking funny, Car boy!"

The two Netra Budi are perfect. At the same time, a memory re-unites like a puzzle and passes.

A cliche memory of him and a girl 14 years ago.

"How do you like cars? My dad said girls can't play in cars." A girl with a neat appearance approached Budi who was busy imagining with several toy cars. "Your hands are also very dirty" he said later.

The little girl was none other than Kirana. Ran used to be a daughter who was often spoiled by both parents. He always played at home with his parents. It had a very clear impact.

Little Kirana couldn't even tell which one was male and female!

He looked up at the presence of the girl. He turned in all directions and looked back at the person in front of him when he felt that there was no one else but him there. "You talking to me?" ask Budi plain.

Kirana nodded. "Yes. You." He crouched down beside Budi. "You should wash your hands now! My father said it would hurt."

Ran tugged at Budi's hand with all his might, intending to take him to the bathroom and wash his hands.

He looked at the astonishment of the girl. "Hey, wait a minute!" prevent it firmly, "who are you? Suddenly caught me. And also, I'm not a girl know!"

"No! I'm not a girl!" Refusing to be upset. "You see, my hair is short. My eyes are sharp too. It's different with you."

"Ah, what is that girl?"

You can immediately pat the eel when you hear that silly question. "Haduh ... forget! What's your name?"

Kirana paused for a moment. "Oh!" He immediately remembered his father's explanation at that time. "My name is Kirana Permatasari. If you are, who?"

Respond, "Oh, your name is good! Ummm .. My name is Car Child! I love cars!"

Ran tilted his head. "Daughters should not play cars ...."

"Aaaarghhhhhhhh! Totally free!" He screamed to vent all his anger. "The bottom line, from today we will be victorious. If you want to play, stop by my house. Ask Mr. Rohmat's house! That's my father's name, everyone in this village must know."

Kirana nodded with a smile. Since then, their relationship has begun.

An unexpected meeting, turned into a close relationship until adulthood.

"Haha! At that time I thought you were a girl!" Ran's laughter broke out in the midst of silence. "I've always felt so embarrassed about the incident! His abisnya, damn funny! Ahaha!"

Ran laughed, while Budi just smiled awkwardly. Because honestly, he also felt a little embarrassed. Because, at that time he did not show the slightest respect to Kirana.

It was the most embarrassing moment for me too, Ran. Really ..., Inner Mind.

"But, honestly. Today I am very happy," said Ran.

"Eh?"

"I'm so happy to see my childhood friend again after five years. It was rich in dreams ...." Ran smiled in front of Budi.

Friends, huh?

However, the topic of conversation instantly changed when Ran suddenly asked, "Oh yes, Bud. How's your family doing?"
