Lily awoke to feel something heavy coiling around her waist, a big, sturdy hand wrapped in bandages. Slowly Lily turned her body, she saw Aric's face sleep.
The man's face looked pale, just like when he left this morning. However, this time there was a left cheek stroke.
"What's going on? why is your face like this?" Lily stroked the still-undry wound carefully.
The woman then starts unbuttoning Aric's sleeping pajamas. His hands trembled as he unbuttoned the second, clearly visible bandages wrapped around Aric's chest.
"What'sthis? why is it like this? What exactly happened to you?"
Lily got up and pulled up the blanket covering their bodies, quickly she opened all the buttons of Aric's clothes to check on her husband's condition. Sure enough, the bandage wrapped around Aric's body to carry his waist, his right arm was also injured.
Lily covered her mouth with both hands, Lily's tears shed looking at Aric's scarred body.
Hearing the sound of someone crying Aric woke up, he was surprised to find the wife crying sobbing beside him. Aric immediately got up.
Lily wiped her tears quickly.
"Darling what happened? Why are you crying? Are you sick? Where does it hurt? I'll call the doctor soon." Aric got out of bed.
"Call doctor sam now, so he can say what happened to you?!"
Aric's steps came to a halt, he frowned. The man was aware of his state, the pajama top he was wearing was already open.
He was too worried about his crying wife, forgetting about himself. Aric immediately buttoned his pajamas back. Then he turned around and approached Lily who was sitting on the bed.
"It's just a minor wound, I'm fine. Don't worry." Slowly Aric got on the bed, was about to hug Lily but the woman shuffled back away.
"Dear."
"Don't call me honey, you won't even be honest with me. Do you think I believe that you love me!" snapped Lily.
The woman vented her anger. Aric was stunned, he quickly grabbed the tiny body in his arms.
"Let go!" Lily thrashed Aric's chest.
Aric tightened his embrace, Lily sobbing. Slowly his hands loosened he returned Aric's embrace tightly, as if the man would disappear as he let go.
"I'm sorry I worried you." Aric gently dipped Lily's hair buds lovingly.
Long enough they hugged, until Lily was calm in her husband's arms. Slowly Aric loosened his embrace, he slightly pulled his body away in order to see Lily's face. Both of the plump eyes looked puffy, Aric erased the trail of tears with the tip of his thumb.
Aric gently kissed two eyelids Lily alternately, slowly down the nose then Lily's lips were so sweet.
"Why are you lying? why are you being mean to me?"
"Mateo said you'd be gone in a few days. You didn't tell me, but instead of telling Mateo, is he more important than me?"
Aric shook his head quickly.
"Of course not, honey. There's nothing more important than you and our little family" Aric said.
"Gemp ... I doubt it." Lily folded her hands, then threw her face the other way.
Aric smiled, for some reason he felt Lily was jealous of Mateo.
"Hey ... Don't you trust your husband?" Aric hugged Lily from behind. He rested his head on Lily's shoulder.
"Tell me why should I trust you?"
"Because I'm your husband." Lily rolled her eyes.
Aric he's for a moment, should he be honest about who he is. But, things were still very chaotic he did not want to make Lily even more worried.
"There was a small accident just now" Aric replied casually.
"What?! Accident, how did that happen?" Lily was surprised to hear Aric's reply.
He turned his body, he stared fixedly at Aric's face which was also staring at him. Lily felt guilty for scolding Aric.
Mateo must have deliberately lied to Lily about Aric's business trip, he definitely didn't want her to feel worried about Aric's state.
"So, Mateo lied about your business trip?"
Aric nodded. He rubbed his wife's cheek gently.
"I wasn't conscious at the time, so Rey decided to tell Mateo to tell you that I was going out of town, maybe they didn't want you to worry."
Lily lowered her head, everyone knew. Everyone's keeping Lily's feelings, but she's. He even scolded Mateo.
"I'm a useless wife, I didn't even know my husband was lying in the hospital. I'm a stupid wife, aren't I," Lily said, she felt so guilty about Aric.
"Hey ... There's no such thing, honey. You're my favorite, there's nothing more important than you. I'm wrong for not telling you, don't blame yourself" Aric said, trying to calm Lily down.
"I should have been there, with you when you were hurt. But look, I'm just relaxing at home while you're in pain" Lily exasperated. He was angry at himself, angry at the circumstances that made him look stupid.
"Calm down, nothing happened. As you can see I can still survive, but the judge is a little worse."
"Judges? how's she doing?" lily asked with an anxious look.
Aric stared intently at Lily, regretting mentioning her assistant's name.
"Tell me how the judge is, why are you silent?" cerca Lily's.
"His leg was broken, when I came home he was not yet awake" replied Aric lazily.
"Oh my God, what a pity. Who was she in the hospital with? Have you contacted his family? What if he can't walk anymore? That's so sorry, so poor of him. Isn't she married?"
Aric really doesn't like to hear Lily worry about Judges like that, no way. Lily should only pay attention to him.
"Honey, I'm sick, too" Aric whined, He ducked his head against Lily's chest.
"Have your bones been broken?"
"No, but -,"
"Then you're luckier than the Judge, he might not be able to walk for a long time. While you can still be like this, you should be grateful."
"Ck, it's because he's weak, his bones are too fragile."
Lily chuckled, knowing that her husband was jealous of the Judge. The big man, did he not know that Lily had lost, the woman had completely lost and fell in love and tenderness of Aric.
"What is this, why does it smell like vinegar?" Syndicate Lily.
"No vinegar, no fabrication" said Aric, knowing his wife was insinuating him.
"Look, your father really likes to eat vinegar. Don't be like that when you're an adult" Lily said, rubbing her stomach.
* Eating vinegar or the smell of vinegar is a term for jealous people.
