Father of My Son

Father of My Son
Comforting the Grief Heart

It was not easy for Dira to forget the absence of her Grandmother. Three days he and his family stayed in Emertown. That morning Dira looked out of the room through the window. His gaze was blank and in wishful thinking, Dira remembered her childhood when her Grandmother accompanied Dira to play ball in the courtyard. A gentle and loving grandmother is also wise.

Dira occasionally sighed. Autumn is coming in Emertown and the air is getting colder. "Grandma want to bring a jacket?" ask Dira.

There was no answer, only the wind blowing her hair. The grass outside is still green and may turn yellow within a week. Nature prepares itself before the snow falls. Dira too, he began to prepare himself to accept the departure of his Grandmother.

"Are you awake?" Bia uncovers the blanket and sits on the bed. Dira nodded. Bia's eyes glanced towards Divan who was still sleeping soundly. Bia lowered her feet to the floor. "I take a shower, yeah. That's breakfast."

Bia's feet stepped into the bathroom. Meanwhile, Dira was still sitting at the window. Several times he heard a heavy sigh. Suddenly, he did not want to go back to Heren. He wants to be here, with his Grandma.

Divan wakes up and sees her sad father. The boy rubbed his round almond eyes. Divan gets out of bed, he remembers having something he kept in his bag. Slowly Divan settles down to bring something he bought with his Grandpa and Grandma.

"Fuck!" call Divan while pulling Dira's shirt. "Look!"

Dira turns around and sees Divan blowing a balloon until her cheeks are more bloated than her balloons.

Kontan Dira laughs at Divan's face while blowing soap bubbles. Really funny. Dira grabbed Divan's body and hugged her tightly.

"You're the smartest to make Papah happy." Anxiously Dira kisses Divan's cheek. "Father dear Divan once."

"Divan dear Papah uga. Cegini," Divan chimps as he stretches his arms wide. Bia who had just taken a bath wearing a kimono saw the talk of the father and son. A smile spread on Bia's lips.

Finished getting dressed, Bia came out walking closet. He saw Dira and Divan playing. "Go take a shower, okay?" bring Bia. Divan nodded. He ran first to the bathroom.

"I bathein Divan. You're done playing" Dira suggested.

"Son, let him be alone. Divan always taught me to clean my own toys. Soon he should be able to pick up his own food."

Dira clapped. "Truly an authoritarian mother" Dira commented.

Bia shaking. "I asked for a deal and Divan agreed. Which side is authoritarian? He plays to his will anyway, right?"

Dira just nodded. Bia now understands the problem of children more than he does. Rather than that, Dira better catch up with Divan to the bathroom.

Bia took the cell phone. He checked the news about Dira. Surprisingly, still the news about Cloe's closeness with Dira is still a trending topic.

"Do they have no heart, instead it is better to be condolent in this situation. Grandma Dira just died, they're preaching all kinds."

Bia swiped her phone screen further down. He saw an article about sunflowers whose blooming season was coming to an end.

"Dearly enough. Picnic in the sunflower garden is fun." Bia. Because of many problems he forgot the holidays. Come to think of it, the vacation time is just up taking Divan to the game arena.

"What's this?" tanya Divan saw Bia put the lunchbox into the basket. "This is for others to love. Divan wait here, huh? Grandpa and Grandma took Divan to see the duck farm."

Divan's eyes sparkled. "Duckies? Any babies? Want a baby duck," timpal Divan looks excited. Bia nodded.

"Why don't you play with your parents too?" ask Bia.

Bia pinches Divan's cheek. "You if you speak as loudly as your Papah. Finally, Bia finished packing the food.

"Van, let's go to Grandma's house. We're moving the pet duck to Grandma's great-grandmother" Maria asked. Divan nodded. Bia Lekas put a hat on Divan's head.

"Well, if Divan's fussy just call Bia, huh?" advice Bia. Maria nodded even though she was sure Divan never fussed. If sleepy and hungry the boy always says.

Grandma Benedith has some pets. He kept animals so as not to feel bored. In Grandma Benedith's house there is an old parrot, a duck is also a rabbit.

"Where's divan going?" tanya Dira who just came to the dining room.

"Go to Grandma's house. Make Grandma move her pet to the farm." Bia stroking Dira's hair. The man still looks pondering.

"Where's food? Has everyone had breakfast?" tanya Dira was confused because the dining table was empty.

Bia pointed at her basket. "Because Divan left, I want to take you for a walk. Instead of you daydreaming and kayaking monkeys less bananas, we better have a picnic."

"Monkey?" asked Dira with a shocked face. Though he was sad, he was even told like that.

"Now, now you wake up and hold us forward. I'm ready for the bike, right." Bia tugging at Dira's arm.

Dira's eyebrows raised next door. "Motor's seat?" ask Dira wonder.

The dining room had only Dira and Bia there. The room is spacious with wooden tables and chairs of the same material dark brown. Sunlight makes the room bright because large windows give room light to enter.

Bia and Dira walk through the family room to the living room then towards the entrance of the house. Both took the helm the maid gave them.

"Where are you going?" ask Dira.

"Well, I'll show you the way. You just take the bike quietly."

"If anyone follows us how?" Dira is worried because there are still many journalists who ask for information about the death of Grandma Benedith.

"Wouldn't, would. We're not going to a public place. This place is rarely visited by people, you know. Anyway Bia want to go there with Dira," pressed Bia impatiently.

Dira chuckles. "Keep Divan why aren't you invited?"

"He prefers to see a duck. Anyway it's just Bia who's happy there."

"Keep me?" Dira pointed at his nose.

Bia ruffled waist. "Come, dong! Very long hunt in the afternoon continue to hunt us back to Heren." Bia seemed impatient to stomp his feet to the floor.

Dira just gave up. He rode on his sporty red bike and put on a helmet. Dira reached out for Bia to give the food basket before boarding. Bia gave it to him and then got on the bike.

"Where? Let me hold the basket." Bia grabbed the basket in Dira's hand. Lekas Dira gave it. He raises the standard of the motor and then turns on the motor.
