In China there was a king who had eight princes. The king is now getting older and it is time to determine his successor. But the king could not decide which of his eight sons was entitled, because all of them were very clever and well trained.
Finally he decided to have his sons travel for three years in search of special knowledge. Armed with gold and money, the king's eight sons left the palace. They split up and dress up like ordinary people. All of them aim to find the most appropriate knowledge for the king of the throne.
Three years later, they all returned to the palace and seemed to be very confident in the science they were studying. Now comes the time to tell what experience and knowledge they have gained.
“I learned from my father's carpenter, and now I'm very good at making beautiful furniture!” said prince one.
“Ilmku is making hundreds of kinds of delicious dad food!” prince two said.
All the princes explained their knowledge one by one, until the remains of the eight princes.
“Well what skill do you get Bungsu?” ask king.
“I'm good at swiping dad's rebab! I studied with a famous artist,” said the youngest prince.
“What! Swiping rebab? How can you think that a king deserves to swipe a rebab. You are so disappointing!” snapped king.
The youngest prince was disappointed to hear his father's words, so he decided to leave the palace with his beloved rebab.
Along the way, the youngest prince swiped his rabbis to expel his grief. The leaves are so beautiful and melodious that all the beings who hear them feel complacent.
One beautiful day, the youngest prince was resting by the beach. He played sad songs through the friction of his rebab. Without realizing it an old man had stood before him. He gently greeted the prince.
“Young man, your song is very beautiful and melodious. The princess has heard your song and is eager to meet you. He wants you to be his teacher. Will you?”
“Where is your kingdom?” ask prince.
“On the sea floor,” said old grandfather.
“How can I get there?” the prince was astonished.
“Take it easy. Close your eyes!” said.
WOUZZ! A cold wind enveloped the youngest prince as he closed his eyes. And when he opened his eyes, he had been in a palace whose beauty was hard to describe with words. The walls are filled with shells and colorful gemstones. The pillar is from a string of pearls. And the floor shines like glass.
It didn't feel like three years had passed. The sea princess has been adept at playing her rebab. Now it was time for the youngest prince to return to the mainland.
“Teacher, if tomorrow father offers you a gift, ask for a vase of gold flowers on the turtle god's back,” said the princess of the sea.
“Why?” ask prince.
“Because the vase can grant all teacher requests. Just whisper your wish in front of him, then in an instant your wish will be realized!” inexplicably.
So when the king of the sea asked him to choose a gift, the prince asked for the vase.
“Young people, it's a pity that this vase can't be given to anyone else because it's a family heirloom. But since I have promised to fulfill your wish, I will lend it to you for three years. After that I'll take it back.” The king of the sea.
The youngest prince was sent back to land. Then he decided to ask for a palace similar to the palace of the king of the sea along with a lot of livestock. He held his wish in front of the vase. In an instant in front of him stood a very majestic palace and similar to the palace of the king of the sea complete with workers and many farm animals. Since then the youngest prince lived in his palace.
The fishermen who often passed through the palace of the youngest prince brought news of the palace's splendor to the market, then spread to the city until finally heard by the king, the prince's father. He was not happy that there was someone else who rivaled the grandeur of his palace. Then accompanied by his soldiers he went to the palace of the youngest prince.
How surprised the king was, when the one who greeted him in the magnificent palace was none other than his youngest son.
“How can you build a palace this grand?” ask king.
“Oh, I obtained it from the wages of swiping the father” rebab said the prince.
The prince's father was a greedy king. He asked the youngest prince to change his palace. The prince agreed.
Since then the king lived in the magnificent palace and the prince returned to his old palace. Because the king no longer paid attention to the welfare of his people, the youngest prince took control so that the people again lived prosperous lives. The prince was well-liked by the people because he was a just and wise leader, as well as officials judged him to be very deft, and clever.
One day, three years later, the king woke up and found himself sleeping on a rump instead of on a soft mattress that he slept on last night. Frightened, the king ran to his old palace and complained to the youngest prince.
The youngest prince then remembered his promise to the king of the sea, and he knew that the king of the sea had taken his inheritance. He did not tell that to his father, instead he advised his father to correct his attitude which always looked down on others and was greedy.
The king was not aware, instead he requested that the youngest prince restore his throne. But the people and officials who were unhappy with the king refused and opposed the king. Finally the king gave up. The benevolent youngest prince allowed his father and his seven brothers to remain in the palace and live together.
