Shasa hypothermia
Riefky had arrived at her apartment and went inside her room to take a bath. As Riefky opened the bathroom door she was shocked to death to see Shasa in her bathtub unconscious and all of her body pale.
Riefky panics and searches for her cell phone but does not meet, when she remembers leaving her apartment at night before going to the hospital and Riefky instead finds Shasa's phone. Without a second thought Riefky immediately recorded the number of Dr. Andreas he saw from a business card he had long kept in his closet drawer.
Connected calls...
"Hallo who is this?" ask Dr. Andrew.
"Hallo ndre it's Riefky, Andre spit Lo into my room right now" said Riefky hastily.
"What's up Ki? Did something happen to Lisa?" andreas asks the doctor back but gets no answer because the call has been decided by Riefky.
Doctor Andreas immediately put on his national white coat and took his medical equipment. Andreas is already in Riefky's room and calls Riefky to find out where he is.
"Where are we going?" call Dr. Andreas.
"Ndre cepet here." said Riefky waving his hand at Dr. Andreas with a pale face.
Doctor Andreas ran to the 2nd floor and found a girl lying limp on the bed belonging to Riefky who was still wearing wet clothes. Dr. Andreas immediately did an examination.
"Let's quickly replace this girl's clothes with dry and thick clothes I'll call an ambulance." said Dr. Andreas.
Riefky did not want to ask much he just obeyed the orders of Andreas. Riefky ran to the room that was on the lower floor, the room that used to be occupied by the Sahara during his life, in the room there are also many Sahara clothes that are still neatly stored in the closet, Riefky took one stell of Sahara clothing to wear by Shasa.
An ambulance arrives and Shasa is rushed to hospital E. Riefky followed behind by driving his own car.
"God please save Shasa as well as her fetus" Riefky said in his heart.
Riefky waits outside the IGD room as she is not allowed to enter by Andreas' doctor and her heart is currently very agitated worried about Shasa's condition as well as her future baby, Riefky was so unsettled that he peeked out of the small glass several times to see Shasa.
Andreas came out briefly to Riefky who looked agitated and impatient to know the state of the woman who is currently being treated by doctor Rani.
"Shasa why ndre? Why does the doctor inside look like he's putting a hose into Shasa's body?" ask Riefky worried.
"After arriving at the hospital hypothermia patients receive a series of medical measures, in the form of :
oxygen that has been moisturized through a mask or nasal hose, to warm the respiratory tract and help increase body temperature.
- Giving warmed infusion liquid.
- Suctioning and warming of blood, to then flow back into the body. This process uses a blood washer.
- The provision of sterile fluids that have been warmed. This sterile liquid is inserted into the abdominal cavity using a special hose."
"What causes ndre hypothermia?" ask Riefky.
"Hipothermia occurs when the heat produced by the body is not as much as the heat lost. A number of conditions that have the potential to make a lot of body heat disappear and cause hypothermia, namely:
too long to be in a cold place.
wearing clothes that are less thick when the weather is cold.
too long to wear wet clothes.
- Too long in the water, for example, soaking in a bathtub for 10 hours."
The explanation given by Andreas makes Riefky feel guilty for ignoring Shasa who cried last night, it could be when Riefky left Shasa in a state of sadness to make Shasa desperate to end his life by soaking in the bathtub.
