ELLA AND MICHAEL

ELLA AND MICHAEL
You've Changed Jane A Lot!

Jane walks in and sits on Ella's sofa, while Ella rushes to her room to change.

Moments after Jane waited for Ella to get dressed, Ella came out of her room and laid herself on the sofa in front of Jane on her stomach, smiling at Jane.

Jane just kept quiet to see Ella's strange behavior.

“You've changed a lot, Jane. I barely know you, because you've let go of your mischief.”

Jane simply replied to Ella with a faint smile.

“We haven't seen each other in 20 years, have we? Since the time we have graduated from SMP it.”

“Ya.”

Jane smiles back and nods her head, then pulls out the stopmap from her bag and pulls out a letter for Ella.

“You only need to sign here. You must have heard the explanation when I called Mr. Tom. You should have come and...”.

“Only for a signature in this document, you traveled a very long distance from your place of work.”

“You took about 3 hours to get here. That a sense of responsibility, or an exaggerated attitude?”

Ella cuts off Jane's words and even corners her back.

“Because our hospital only handles the elderly who are mentally impaired, all surgical operations must be done in the referral hospital. It's all for your father's sake.”.

“He's dead. Haha. I'm an orphan. You know that, don't you?”

Ella again cuts off Jane's well-intentioned speech to provide an explanation.

“But, there's a chance your mother is still...”.

“I have long registered him with the status of deceased.”

Jane was shocked and could only remain silent when she heard Ella's sadistic remark.

“You want me to tell you a funny story?

Ella smiled at Jane, then changed her position to sit down and retrieve the file that Jane was carrying.

“My father's soul is gone, but his body still lives like a zombie. While my mother, her body has been gone for a long time, but, her soul is still alive today.”

Ella stared intently at Jane for a few seconds, then smiled.

“So, between the two, who has died? Who really died you think, Jane?”

“Your father...”.

Jane was still stammering from hearing Ella's words.

“Pak Roy's. He will be in a critical condition if not immediately operated. His cognitive abilities will...”.

“Other people will think you're his son, Jane.”

Once again Ella interrupted Jane's words, when Jane mentioned Ella's father's name.

“Ah. Right, just like that. You're Roy's son, and then I'm your mother's son? I'll sign if you agree. How?”

Jane looked more panicked and confused as Ella said that. Jane just nodded, out of pity for Roy, and for Ella to quickly sign the dossier.

“Hahahah. I'm just kidding, Jane.”

Ella took the file and signed it.

“Feel your mother very well, Jane. Shall I visit her, and eat together as before, when we were Junior High?”

Jane just kept quiet and didn't move a part of her body.

Ella smiled and looked at Jane.

“Hahaha. Our sense of humor is different. Hmmmm. Very unpleasant.”

Ella has finished signing the dossier.

Jane immediately re-entered the file into the stopmap, then said goodbye to Ella.

“Good. Thanks for everything. I'll be back home.”

“Why hurry, Jane? You don't want to stay here first? It's been very night.”

“No. Mother's alone. I have to hurry home, so as not to make her worry.”

“Alright, then.”
