The next day,

Nearly 100 naval trainees stood in the open field wearing low-ranking naval uniforms and equipped with the basic weapons of their choice; knives, swords, pistols, rifles, and so on.

Standing in front were Blaize, Vergo, Shuzo, Gion, and others of the same class. They were the most relaxed and confident group while all those behind them were a bit nervous.

Exerting force on his tail, the tiger pushed Blaize backwards and jumped onto a nearby tree. His shadow form easily fused with the surroundings and disappeared from his sight.

It did not reduce his alertness even added to increasing it. He knew the tiger creature had finally shown its strength and superiority on its own terrain.

A rustling sound was heard around him.

Something moved from one tree to another with lightning-fast speed leaving nothing but a yellow line.

Out of nowhere, the attack came.

Although he remained a vigilante, he could not react in time and something heavy hit his back.

The force of the attack pushed him forward. At that moment, Blaize skillfully stopped the momentum by flipping twice and steadying his pace.

Utilizing the excess power in his body, Blaize shouted and slashed the dagger on his back with all his strength.

'Shhhhhhh!"

The tiger stopped in its tracks and slowly limped to the ground without life. The dagger in his right hand instantly pierced through his right eye and pierced through his brain.

Blaize did not celebrate his lucky victory. He doesn't have that luxury. Not wasting any more time, he plucked out a dagger from the tiger corpse and rushed away without looking back.

In the next instant, a huge bird descended from the sky and grabbed the corpse of the tiger. But before it could take off, a green scaly snake crept out of the shadow of the tree, scaring the bird. it then pounced and twisted itself around the bird that paralysed it to the ground.

The bird struggled with all its might, but it was all in vain and soon succumbed to death.

Meanwhile, the snake enjoys his lunch - the feathered bird and the tiger -.

silence once again filled the area as if nothing had happened here.
