“From the results of the examination on the body and internal organs of the victim, before the drowning victim he experienced contractions due to epilepsy recurrent disease. I found the fact of the characteristics of the victim with epilepsy, there were no signs of violence in his body,” explained the doctor.
“God willing, yes I just remembered,” muttered Haji Abas holding his forehead.
“Then excuse me...” said the doctor then left Haji Abas and 3 people ustad.
Haji Abas seems to justify the doctor's statement that Ustad Sofyan did suffer from epilepsy. He has known it since Sofyan in his care.
His memory drifted back to when he first met Ustad Sofyan.
In the past, Ustad Sofyan was one of the homeless teenagers. At that time, Sofyan was still around 15-16 years old, he lived on the streets in groups with several friends his age.
Almost every day is always found at the same red light when Haji Abas passes the road every time he goes to his company place.
Together with two friends of his age, one plays an old guitar and one friend plays a craze made of bottle caps. Aedangkan Sofyan sentad sing the song with a fairly melodious voice.
Every time Abas stopped at the red light, a distinctive voice chanted the same song. He did not know at all the song that was always sung by ustad Sofyan.
What Haji Abas feels is that the song sung by ustad Sofyan the lyrics are so touching describes the grief with the condition of his feelings.
“I am a man who has no
Just a burning love..
Then I created my miss on him
Because of happy love..
The pujangga says
Oh, precious love
Of gold and jewels..
Then I brought love
In the spirit
The light of gelita...
So often listening to the buskers with the same song and in the same place, long hajj Abas liked the song and enjoyed it.
"Hatur nohun sir." said ustad Sofyan with a sumringah mixed with shock when Haji Abas held out a piece of money 100 thousands.
The look of Sofyan's eyes seemed to not believe anyone gave him 100 thousand rupiah. Until he says; "punten pak pennilan only, abdi teu aya kembalian'na."
"Everything is for ujang and his friends well," said Haji Abas when he first gave money to the busker.
Haji Abas could see the expression on Sofyan's face. His eyes looked glassy after Haji Abas said that. His hand instantly trembled holding the 100 thousand money.
"Subhanallah, this child is so honest." murmured Haji Abas inwardly looking at Sofyan.
Haji Abas was amazed to see Sofyan who looked very grateful after getting the money. Although the appearance is shabby and a little grungy, but it turns out the teenager still has a side of honesty.
The beginning of the closeness of the hajj Abas dangan ustad Sofyan was coincidentally and unintentionally after going through a small incident at a red light.
It was as usual around 7.30 wib, Haji Abas stopped at the zebra crosa red light line. But this time, Haji Abas was a little astonished. He did not see iftad Sofyan and 2 friends who approached the glass of his car.
With a little disappointment Haji Abas turned his eyes to see the minutes displayed above the traffic light in front of him.
On the timer screen it shows the number 3 minutes 49 seconds...
“Where is the boy?” Guman Haji Abas, back to look to his right side hoping that the teenagers of the busker appeared.
Suddenly, two young men cover the sight of Haji Abas making him jerk in shock.
“Astagfirullah!” The screech.
Not lost from his surprise, the two young men then stick their forehead on the car window checking inside the car.
Dugm! Dugm! Dugm!
“Money! The money! Quickly give money!” shouted one of the youths brandishing a red axe.
Because he did not want his business to be more complicated, Haji Abas immediately reached into his wallet to give a 100 thousand piece of money.
When he was about to lower the windshield his car was about to give uanh it suddenly a loud noise startled him.
“Hoi! Why you!” yelling sounds that sound inauthentic.
The two young men who were holding red axes immediately turned around to look at the direction of the source of the voice reprimanding him.
The red axe he lifted high threatened those who rebuked him.
Haji Abas saw that 3 teenagers came while carrying wooden blocks in their hands.
Haji Abas recognized the 3 teenagers who came were none other than the buskers he used to see.
Two red-footed young men stepped forward to welcome the arrival of Sofyan with two friends.
One of the young men swung his red axe towards Sofyan's body which was the frontmost position.
Sofyan Ustad with a reflex move back beat the wood along 1 meter to dispel the swing of the red axe.
The plot!!!
The sound of a red axe and wooden beams rang out loud. A red axe bounced from the young man's grasp, his body staggering forward.
Ustad Sofyan directly swung his right leg kicking the young man's stomach.
Seeing his friend fall down and sprawled on the sidewalk, he also stepped forward to hunt Sofyan. But a wooden slash suddenly hit his head.
The sabetan of one of Sofyan's old friends makes the young man stagger backward. The axe's been blown off somewhere.
“Go no lu!” ustad Sofyan shouted as he pointed a wooden block at the face of the last youth.
The 3-minute incident was enough to make Abas' hajj tense and impressed with the courage of Ustad Sofyan and his colleagues.
Shortly after the green light was on, Haji Abas was forced to run his car.
But about 50 meters after crossing the intersection of red lights that Haji Abas marginalized his car.
He walked towards the scene of the fight at the red light earlier.
“Assalamualaikum..” says Haji Abas.
“Wa aleikim salam,” sahut ustad Sofyan and 2 friends in unison.
“You all right?!” Haji Abas asked while looking around.
“We are okay sir. Is my dad okay?” Ustad Sofyan asked worried about him.
“Alhamdulillah, it's okay. Where were the two young men carrying the red axe?” Haji Abas asked his forehead.
“They've escaped sir,” replied one of Sofyan's friends who carry an old guitar.
“They are children of gangs sir, they often do troublemaking of the drivers,” timpal ustad Sofyan.
“Do you not fear later they will get revenge,” said Haji Sofyan.
“Ya is horrified too sir, but what can I do. Maybe for the next few days we will move first sir at another red light,” said ustad Sofyan.
The heart of Haji Abas felt filled with the fate of the 3 teenage buskers. They willingly risk their safety only to defend the unknown, so as not to think about their own fate in the future.
Haji Abas then invited the three teenagers to work in his garment company. And they gladly accepted the call of Hajj Abas.
Finally two teenagers work in a garment, while for ustad Sofyan asked Haji Abas to help him take care of a tahfiz house containing street children and orphans.
