Mr. Suro walked out of his room followed by Kunto, Adi and Guntur trailing behind him towards the living room. Deep in the heart, Mr. Suro was amazed by the ability of Thunder which could spontaneously make him healthy again just by sticking his palm alone.
There was a subtle power creeping through the cells in his body when his chest was affixed to Thunder's palm to make him feel warm all over his body. And even more astounding, his body felt fit no longer weak, lethargic due to shortness of breath and coughing.
"Thank you very much Guntur has treated the father" said Mr. Suro when everyone was sitting down.
Thunder looks clumsy and confused with thanks Mr. Suro. He felt he did nothing let alone said to treat, treat in what way? Thunder really did not understand. But Guntur tried to follow the flow of the atmosphere and replied to Mr. Suto's thanks with a smile.
"Don't call me mas sir, Thunder just let's not meditate like that sir, hehehe.." replied Thunder.
"Yes, hehehe." replied Mr. Suro chuckling.
"O yes sir, Mr. Suro seems to be very close to Adi yes," said Guntur glancing at Adi who was sitting next to Pak Suro.
For a moment Mr. Suro looked at Adi with an affectionate gaze while sighing deeply. From the look of his eyes there was a newness radiated there. Adi just bowed playing his fingers on his lap.
"The story is Gun. Adi is already considered as his own son. Two years ago." the head of Mr. Suro looked up, his eyes glaring at the ceiling of the living room. In his head was still clearly reflected on an event.
......................
That night at around 21:15 pm Bandung City suddenly descended drizzle. Mr. Suro hurriedly read his books before it really rained. He piled up his trading books originally and put them in two sacks. And lastly fold the tarp that is used as a base to peddle his used books.
Mr. Suro shouldered two sacks containing books and then rushed over to the terrace of Bandung Indah Plaza for shelter. He noticed every green-colored cargo that passed through heavy traffic. Mr. Suro intends to immediately ride the angkot to go home before it rains big. However, every cargo it shows is always full of passengers.
Pak Suro took the initiative to move the place to the stop on the front left side of the Mall to make it easier to see angkot and not tired of shouting to stop it. He walked while carrying one sack while another sack was lifted on his right hand.
When he arrived at the corner outside the Mall, Mr. Suro was stunned to find a dozen-year-old child was sleeping on a cardboard box with a shivering body. He then watched the little boy who seemed to be sick.
"Son, your body is very hot" said Mr. Suro sticking his palm on the boy's forehead.
Pak Suro was confused to want to take him to the clinic but what about his two merchandise sacks. He spread his gaze around thinking about putting his things away. Across the street corner of the Mall appears a food stall, without a second thought Pak Suro rushed to move while carrying a sack and carrying it towards the food stall amid drizzle that has not been large.
"Sir, punten can drop these items for a while" Mr. Suro told a 50-year-old man it looks like the owner of a food stall.
"Where's the father going?" Asked the man slightly frowned.
"I want to take a child to the clinic,. Pity him lying in the role of Mall his body fever," replied Mr. Suro.
"Oh, yes. Monggo, monggo sir. Put it here, sir," said the man who owns the stall.
"Hatur nohun pisan yes sir," said Mr. Suro while putting two sacks in the designated place.
Mr. Suro piled up two of his sacks containing his used books in a corner near the rollingdoor. Then immediately return to the place where the child who was rubbed with the shivering body.
"I'm staying sir" said Mr. Suro.
"O yes sir. If it's past 12 pm to pick up the goods tomorrow again yes, because the stall is closed." said the owner of the stall.
"Muhun, muhun sir" said Mr. Suro then rushed away.
May the rain not come down first, pity the boy. So he said in his heart in the middle of his little run. Shortly thereafter Mr. Suro had returned to where the boy was rubbing shivering. Soon he carried her towards the clinic which happened to be not so far away. The umun clinic is across the street behind a row of Wendy's distro and fast food buildings.
"Sus, please this kid has a high fever!" mr. Suro said to the guard nurse.
"Let's get to the room here, sir," said the nurse delivering to the public check room.
After Mr. Suro laid the child down, he was told to wait outside. In front of the check room, Mr. Suro just sat for a while and then stood back up to look at his head trying to see the condition of the child with anxiety. But could not see his sight blocked by the white curtain that covered the cage where he lowered the child from his sling.
Mr. Suro could only walk back and forth in front of the door of the room. Occasionally his face looked up at the clock on the wall above the door of a nursing room in front of him. The hour hand has shown at 11pm over 12 minutes. It has been 10 minutes the child is in the examination room but there has been no doctor or nurse who came out.
Five minutes later, the doctor came out of the examination room. Mr. Suro immediately hunted him with the question, "How is the condition of the dock?"
"Father who?" the doctor asked.
"I'm the father of the doc" said Mr. Suro sepontan.
Mr. Suro was confused for a few seconds when asked about his status. Fortunately, the doctor did not question him even though he knew that Mr. Suro's confession was a lie.
"Luckily you brought him here immediately, otherwise his life could be threatened. The boy suffered from very chronic heartburn, apparently he rarely ate. Then excuse me sir," said the doctor.
"Alhamdulillah, the boy is still saved." murmured Mr. Suro.
Not long after the door of the check room was opened followed by a blangkar driven by a nurse who had delivered Mr. Suro.
"Sus, where is this kid going?!" sergeant Pak Suro follows the nurse who continues to push the cage.
"To the treatment room sir, in the room Kemuning. You can follow me yes," said the nurse continues to push the blangkar down the hallway of the clinic.
......................
Mr. Suro sighed deeply and then rubbed Adi's head sitting next to him. Adi continued to look down but both eyes clearly began to glaze over.
"Adi this live a kara Gun. He before meeting his father everyday helps people bring groceries in the mall to the car just to be able to eat and survive." said Mr. Suro.
"After the father decided to raise Adi as a child, then the father asked for help from his father's friends who worked printed newspapers to get a job. Because Adi is still a minor so can not be hired finally the only way to be a loper for a while until Adi is 17 years old." Reveal Mr. Suro.
Thunder and Kunto stared with a feeling full of excitement to hear the story of Mr. Suro who turned out that Adi was his adopted son. It is said that Kunto feels sorry because her life is much better than Adi's. He felt that he had complained about the economic condition of his family who were just ordinary farmers and could not send him money to pay for costs but it turned out that there were still many people whose lives were not as lucky as he was has a complete family, there is a father, mother and sister Neng.
Thunder looked at Adi full of pity, his heart was moved eagerly to raise his sister and take her to live with him. But on the other hand he saw there was happiness in the life of Adi and Mr. Suro. If they are separated, Adi living with him will certainly make Mr. Suro sad because he will live alone in this house and that Thunder does not want to damage it.
"O yes, by the way there is a need what is Guntur nyari father?" Ask Mr. Suro.
